Interest in Manchester City appears every season to be able to win the Champions League trophy they want. It wouldn't be that easy for them to get that, because the other teams that were here were also targeting the same thing. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain are some of the strong teams out of many other strong teams competing for it. The road they have to walk is so heavy in front of them. Last season they were also the biggest favorites for the trophy, but they weren't too tough against Real Madrid even though they could have taken the lead.

I would say that so far they have been a great team every season, and they played very well football every season as well, and each year they bought one player that would make some difference for them too.

However, this year they added Haaland, a player that they bought for cheaper than what he is worth, and now worths more than double what he should be at around 150 million. Imagine a situation where you add that type of player into an already good team who went to semi-finals last year. I am guessing that they are going to be heavy heavy heavy favorites this year, they were already seen as a big candidate before him, now they also have him on top of that.

The addition of Haaland to his current form is definitely a complement to City and it's only natural that they are favorites now even more than before.
As long as they don't repeat the same mistakes they made last season against Madrid by loosening up their defense too much because they believe in Aggregates and winning then I think they will still be very consistent and it's not impossible that they can do better than the previous season.

Yes indeed, it's a shame last season Manchester City made a fatal mistake, because they should have continued to play tighter at least to maintain the aggregate they have. If Dinamo beats Salzburg in Zagreb, then I think that until the end the fight for the second place in the group will be between Dinamo and Milan, and their match in Zagreb will probably decide.
I still give Milan a small advantage.
At the beginning of the qualifiers, everyone expected this to be an easy group for Chelsea and Milan, but until the end of the competition, it will be uncertain and exciting.

They are still not sure to qualify at this time because their points are still close to each other even though the chances are strong now but still this is still unpredictable especially there are still 3 matches they have to do.
Currently their condition is much better than before and obviously this is a plus for them but we also can't make this so convincing because obviously sometimes when we are too sure there are always surprises that will happen later.

Barcelona have to do what Ever they can, in winning inter Milan in the second leg at Nou Camp because I think that will be their last hope, and I think xavi should use more of experience than talent in that game,I would love to see kessie and Frankie De Jong starting, because for me Gavi and Pedri are lightweight and not too experience, with kessie and the Dutch so lawendowski will see more of the ball and he should also go with Torres instead of Torres in the starting eleven because is their last hope if not they will be playing Europa League next year.

Barcelona might likely go back to Europa as they did last season. The way I'm seeing things, no club is easy to win anymore.  Even the anxiety and aura of Camp Nou has faded. If it was before, we would be sure that Barcelona will grab 3 points in their home stadium, but this time around many things have changed and things doesn't work easily as before.

That's what im thinking about. It seems like that intermilan has more chance to go tot he next stage. A team that can perform so well during the local competition may have different performance when it will be entering into the champion league. Remember that the champion league was a place where so many top teams from all of big competitions in the world competing between one to the each other to get the champion league title as the top title in the football.
I don't even think barcelona will make it. It's very hard for barcelona caused by it will face munchen and inter again.

Because Inter Milan will certainly appear with more mature preparation after their victory in the first round. Their strategy succeeded in stopping every attack that was built by Barcelona. Well Barcelona is playing really bad in the champions league and thats the competition where you want them to play at their best. Yes they can win against farmers team in their league,but when you play elite clubs you need to do better. With how the group looks they probobly wont pass the group. Inter has an amazing chance of passing it.

Barcelona schedule is not so tight compared to other teams such as Inter although next week they will playing repeat match against Inter but they had good advantages because playing at Camp Nou and indeed Barcelona should be wins all of the matches to ensure their position will not be replaced by Inter and maybe their highest achievement on group C is runner up position because it's almost impossible to taking over Bayern Munich position in the first places so basically this is the competition between Barcelona and Inter that whoever the teams who can playing consistent they can went to next stage along with Bayern Munich

In this case their schedule is not too tight but the problem is not in the schedule I think but in the opponents they will face.
Their current condition is still quite difficult to play as usual because some of their players are still recovering and this is a little difficult if you see their current condition will face an opponent that can be considered tough.
They still have some big games ahead once they are more comfortable with Celta Vigo and this IMO is still going to be tough for Barcelona.

You are right about PSG. They added players like Ramos, Hakimi, Messi to the team to win the Champions League. But despite having good players in their squad, they are failing to perform as per demand. To win the Champions League now, they need to be able to beat Man City. I don't think they have that capability.

They have to win against Inter, and of course Plzen or whatever that team is, but it would also be a great deal if they could get a draw out of Bayern game as well, that would really go a long way to make sure that they go to next stage.

If it comes down to Inter and Barcelona being the same points, then it is going to look a lot worse for them, because even if they manage to promote, they are going to face a lot more trouble and fear with the idea that they barely got out, but if they can get out with something like win against all three on second round? That would give them a boost to confidence to make sure that they are doing fine and could beat anyone.

I agree with you. Manchester City's midfield is very strong. Manchester City's forward players are able to perform brilliantly with the help of strong midfielders. But Haaland is a very talented player. So he is able to score consistently in every match. However, if Haaland was replaced by Lewandowski or Mbappe, Manchester City would have been able to score a lot of goals. Almost every player in Guardiola's squad is very talented.

Barcelona have not been performing so good in the champions league this season and they have dropped down below second in the group stages of the UCL means they have to win the remaining games to move up the table and book a place to the round of 16. A win against Inter Milan in the second leg will be very important if they want to qualify for the next rounds of the competition.

Hmmmm... im also choosing real madrid. People are feeling amaze with performance from city but i think that we must not forget one thing. Sometime people are believing in one team caused by its performance was amazing but there was a case when such team got beaten by another team in the final. that reminds me when chelsea against bayern muchen in the champion league. Chelsea able to beat bayern with a small score. That proves that if how good team perform during qualifier and it will not give guarantee if the team will perform better in the final.

No doubt, Erling Haaland has found himself in the best team that suits his talent and has found favour with Pep since his arrival in Manchester City with his goal scoring ability. Now, his just the big dog in the house and has his assurances in and for the team. I don't know but, I won't want to trade players with him for either of the names mentioned above. They might be great players but, it doesn't mean every player would be better at Manchester City.

Champion's League is completely different from the local leagues. Have you seen how Inter Milan's performance has been in the Seria A? They are number 7 according to the current standings with 5 wins and 4 losses out of 9 games. But they did manage to beat Barcelona that hasn't lost a single local league game so far.
