Apart from some surprising results yesterday, so I'm really looking forward to today's Barcelona vs Inter match. Barcelona will do everything possible to qualify for the next round by winning all remaining matches. Inter, Bayern Munich, Viktoria Plzen must be beaten by Barcelona if they want to get 1 ticket to the last 16. I believe their chances at the moment are very slim considering they only got 3 points in 3 match.

Today, there are not many interesting matches because most of the matches will probably easily determine who the winner is. But Barcelona vs Inter is the most prestigious match to look forward to, well regardless of the result then I think Barcelona deserves a place in the round of 16 this season.

In my opinion, the Barcelona - Inter Milan match is going to be the most interesting match of today's matches. Barcelona seems to be the favorite. Inter are not in their best form in this season, but in the previous game of these teams, they showed that they can still win against the best. A possible loss of points by Barcelona could prevent them from being promoted, so the hosts will certainly be mobilized twice. I don't think Juventus is officially eliminated yet, but then they have to win both games and Benfica have to lose 2x. I think that's pretty much out of the question with this program and also with the form of both teams. PSG will still be group winner I suspect. That won't surprise anyone. City did not play with the strongest team yesterday, because the game against Liverpool is on the program this weekend. That was (perhaps rightly) given more priority than the match against Copenhagen. Tonight I expect a lot of goals at Napoli - Ajax. Barcelona really need to win to stay in the race.

It would be funny if this stunt would allow Chelsea to win the trophy again. For me it seems to be something unreal now, even then with Tuchel it was some kind of success, but this cannot work for Chelsea all the time. Maybe PSG are still the leader of their group at the moment. But their performance against Benfica was way below the level I was expecting to see.

Mbappe still scored a goal despite the rumours about him to leave the team as soon as possible. Chelsea only need one win and one more draw in the Champions League group stage to ensure they qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.

What do you think about Atletico Madrid - FC Brugge? I think this time Atletico win. On the other hand, Brugge has 9 points and if I am not wrong just 1 more makes them sure to be in the next phase. 1 point in 3 games, that's doable, but for sure the sooner the better.

BTW, di you know that in Brugge (population 120k) there is also another football club which plays in the top level Belgian league? Cercle Brugge K.S.V., but as I see the are now at the bottom of the table...

You are correct that it took 1 point only for Club Brugge to qualifying and this not impossible to achieved by Club Brugge because they already win 2-0 from Atletico in the first leg and seems Club Brugge has appears as the most surprising team in group B because before tournament begin most people predict Club Brugge will be defeated by Atletico or Leverkusen which these teams traditionally the favourite compared to them however besides that i will looking forward to see another match in group B that Leverkusen vs Porto because seems after changed manager Leverkusen can displayed impressive performance under Alonso

If you look at Barcelona's performance in the first match against Inter, I think the small mistakes they tried to cover failed so that Barcelona's defense was easily penetrated, especially at centre-backs. Xavi did not apply aggressive pressure, lacked quick tiki taka, so the ball that was seized opened the attack from the middle.

Barcelona had a famous El Clasico match, but in the first match against Inter it was mostly a long ball. This evaluation should be a reflection to turn things around. Xavi now has De Jong who can make Lewandowski maximize execution. Dembele is very important in building attacks while he is unselfish and pushes himself to score goals. I previously thought that changing coaches at Chelsea would not have much effect. but it turns out I was wrong. because since Graham Pottee came to coach Chelsea, Chelsea changed completely. even chelsea's game and performance now is very good. and twice beat Milan is an achievement that deserves thumbs up. because it is true that Milan is a strong team. but with the victory chelsea proved that Chelsea became stronger now under coach Graham Potter.

Potter is no where near lifting the UCL like Tuchel did, well appreciated he has brought some fragrance to Chelsea pattern of play in the UCL group stage, but it's just a group stage with less expected rivals, and there are much harder opponents to meet at the round of 16 going forward, all we can expect is Potter making sure Chelsea goes beyond the round of 16 and that would suffice many.

Away from that. Last night in the UCL there were many unexpected draws and tonight the game between Barcelona and inter Milan  is one I perceive to end in draw. Barcelona may only try based on home advantage but am sure inter knows what they stand to gain with just going back home with a draw. So for sure its going to be a tough game tonight.

Graham Potter remains unbeaten in fives games now after his appointment as Chelsea manager, Chelsea had started playing free flowing and attacking football with reference to their performance against AC Milan yesterday, infact they broke a record of not winning 15 consecutive matches in Italy especially in San Siro stadium that shows a remarkable improvement on the team, with the win Chelsea chances of qualification to the next stage is brighter now and I believe the other two clubs RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb won't pose any challenge or stop the club from qualification going by their present form and consistent performance.

With the home support of playing this upcoming match in front of their home fans, I guess the players of Atletico Madrid will be putting in their best effort and they should be able to emerge as the winner at the final whistle.

They are a surprise club now because indeed with big names like Porto and Atletico they can still get full points and even stand quite comfortably in the current first position in the group.

AC Milan losing twice from Chelsea is a clear sign that the Italian teams cannot compete with the English teams. Maybe it's all about the money.
The best performing Italian team right now is Napoli and I really hope that they continue in the next stage of the Champions League.
Juventus and AC Milan aren't in a good shape and they probably won't reach the quarterfinals. I'm sure that AC Milan has the ability to win against Dinamo Zagreb and Saltsburg, but I'm not sure about Juventus getting out of their group and going into Europa League.
Another big disappointment is PSG failing to win against Benfica for the second time. The French team doesn't show a great performance and I can't put them in the list of the big favorites for winning the Champions League.

With the defeat of Juventus by Maccabi Haifa, it has given a definite result that Juventus has fallen in the Champions League, because Benfica and PSG only need one more point to continue to advance to the next round. The difference in points between Juventus and Benfica and PSG is 6 points, so even if for example Juventus won the remaining two matches Juventus would only have a total of 9 points.
