Barcelona has looked difficult to advance to the next round because Barcelona's chances are very slim to qualify for the next round. But when it comes to the coach, I think Xavi is a very good coach for Barcelona and he has also managed to improve the performance of Barcelona which had slumped last season.

This season they actually played much better but there are still many problems that must be solved by Xavi Hernandez. The problem is still felt so that it makes it difficult for them to get out of this group stage. And also the depth of their squad is still not balanced, if their main player can't play it creates a gap that can be exposed by the opponent. I also think that FC Barcelona has definitely improved in comparison to last season. Just take Ousmane Dembele for example. I also want Barcelona to go to the next round of the Champions League. But for that, Barcelona will have to work hard to win two matches and depend on luck. But if luckily Barcelona go to the next round I think they will do well with confidence.

You're kidding.
If they played the game badly there is no way they are now top of the table in La Liga. If they play badly there is no way they have conceded 20 goals and only conceded 1 goal in the last 8 matches.
The reason they failed in the Champions League apart from the pot they filled in the group was a tough group, they were also faced with the situation of injured players concurrently. Barcelona will not qualify for the next round of the Champions League. They will have to do it again in the Europa League. That was also a big disappointment last season. It is not fair on Barcelona if you say that they played very poor football this season. Barcelona under Xavi has been doing very well starting from the end of last season even up-to-date. The chances of Barcelona progressing past the group stages of the competition are very slim. La Liga teams have their hand full. They should focus on La Liga and either the Champions League or Europa League since after covid, soccer matches are tightly packed. Too many strong teams in the Champions League and they also need to commit more which might put La Liga teams behind their local league. There is also World Cup that they should watch out too cause that will take away some of their best players.

From that viewpoint, I don't have high hope for Barcelona to get a good score against Bayern in the upcoming match or go far in the Champions League.

Barcelona already do not have a chance at Champions league, they may go towards Europa and maybe do something about it but that's about it, we shouldn't really focus on anything that they could possibly do anymore.

It's better to focus on la liga and win there. Real however doing fine, they are still quite good, do not expect Benzema to do anything right now, last year he was good during group games too but his big games came from the fact that he scored a lot of goals during meaningful games and that's what mattered. I feel like if they face people at knock off rounds, they will be doing better. Only team from la liga that may still win it in the end.

I think atletico and juventus are the most surprising results so far, we all have seen how milan are performing in the european competitiond and in a group with chelsea and salsburg two experienced teams in the champions league i was kinda expecting them to have big trouble, still milan and atletico has a great chance to make it to the next phase.
