Was a perfect second half display by Liverpool last night, I think when players drop form and tried so hard with things they normally do with ease then the coach should give them rest by removing them from the starting xi, or allow other players to fight for their spot, just like what Conte did to Son against Leicester,he came in the second half after richarlison and kulusevski were giving the nod ahead of him, he was brought on in the second half and scored an hattrick against the foxes, that's what happened when Salah came on and that confidence he will gain from the goals will aspire the team against Manchester city

It's time for Liverpool to rise and come back like last season, which always showed a winning mentality. Klopp had to wake up the players and see that there was a much bigger hurdle in front of him. The Champions League is getting hotter and the competition is getting tougher because a ticket to the last 16 certainly motivates the clubs in each group to rise up with the remaining opportunities.

I also think that the chances for FC Barcelona to still make it into the knockout stage of the Champions League are 1% at max. I doubt though that the players and also the officials are also seeing it as "not a bad thing" that they have to go to the Europa League now probably. I don't know the exact numbers at the top of my head but you earn way less money in the Europa League then in the Champions League and Barca desperately needs every € that they can get because they have such ridiculously high debts.
Also i watched the interview with Xavi after that game yesterday and he really is a sore loser. You need to accept that when you did not win 3 matches in a row that it is not only bad luck.
