In four days there is an important and fundamental match with Liverpool and maybe Josep Guardiola decided to save Haaland a little for this match. In principle, this match was not expected to be very problematic and City had some margin over the rest of the opponents, and still, with all that, Manchester City still secured an early exit from the group. If this is the case, as I assume, then I agree with Guardiola, because it's not a matter of constantly putting a young player in the squad twice a week and if you remember, Haaland had some injury problems at Borussia Dortmund last season when he didn't play for a while. If you look at it, Haaland has started every Manchester City game this season, and it seems the game against Copenhagen was the right time to rest Haaland, especially with the Premier League trip to Liverpool following on Sunday. Not only was the Copenhagen Vs Manchester City match strange, there were several other matches such as Haifa Vs Juventus, PSG Vs Benfica, Dortmund Vs Sevilla and the last one was Shakhtar Donetsk Vs Real Madrid. I don't understand what happened to the top teams.

The penalty was correct but the red card against the former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori was very unjust and really determined the game's winner. Referee Daniel Siebert should be cautioned by UEFA. Chelsea just had a free day because of that red card and I perceive that Milan would have gotten a better result. Oliver Giroud lost their best opportunity when he squandered that free heady inside the box. Sergino Dest's attempt couldn't give them a goal, but the excellent performance of Rafael Leão should be encouraged.

There is a little oddity behind the red card received by Fikayo Tomori in my opinion. He (Tomori) clearly bothered Mason Mount and deservedly the referee considered a foul so the penalty was the right decision to be given. In our opinion, Daniel Siebert should have punished Tomori for a foul made with a yellow card. But the German referee's decision must still be accepted and the victory belongs to Chelsea.

In another match, Maccabi Haifa managed to experience how to win in the Champions League group stage after 20 years defeating Manchester United. The success of Maccabi defeating Juventus with a score of 2-0 became their first win in Group H. Juventus' defeat made them worse off this season.

The early exchanges were almost even, with Milan having a little edge. However, all that changed when the Referee decided to spoil the game. His reason for the red card was because Tomori grabbed at Mason Mount in the penalty area to stop a clear goalscoring opportunity. Looking at it, Mount did not fall to the ground and he even managed to take his shot at goal. Chelsea have played three  matches on a row without conceived any goal that means teams the team defenders are doing great job. Seeing Chelsea ending the game in  2 - 0 was a surprise thing to me because ACM is not a small club, infact currently they are in form. Chelsea's game began to develop slowly and they did have to win this match in order to increase the possibility of qualifying for the last 16, this is not a surprising result. I think Chelsea deserved to win and if you look at the quality of the team they are also superior to AC Milan.

AC Milan are loosing it because they failed win the blues the two times they have met in the champions league.
