But as I wrote before, the statistics of personal meetings between Benfica and Inter have never been in favour of Benfica... Yesterday's match was no exception... Congratulations to Manchester city for the massive victory they got from Bayern Munich , despite the prepare Bayern Munich prepared to disgrace Manchester city at home but Manchester city never allow such plan to work. Bayern Munich really demonstrated well in the first half to allowed Manchester city to scored one goal in the first half before Manchester city changed the game in the second half to defeated Bayern Munich 3-0 to alert other teams that they are in a good position to win this Champions league title this season. I think Manchester City and Napoli will be the teams to meet for the final battle because the two teams are doing wonders in this season.

A very big congratulations to Manchester City indeed for their last night victory against Bayern Munich with 3 goals to none defeat it is a clear sign that Manchester City is doing well in the championship compared to the premiere leagues this season and if care is not taken the finals will be the same like last season were the faced real Madrid to battle for the finals.

Another interesting game tonight is between Chelsea and Real Madrid and from all indications, manchester city is in a better position to win the match with multiple goals, this is the final leg between the two clubs this season and it may be the end of Chelsea dying glory since Chelsea has been on a steady decline for a whole season.

Simeone inzaghi is very satisfied with the result achieved by intermilan. Intermilan has been bringing the positive trends into the sansiro. The chance for intermilan to win in the second leg is very high after seeing how good intermilan was playing against benfica.

Inter showed an unexpected result for many, their excellent defensive play and also two goals scored were unexpected, now Inter will have a very significant advantage in the second leg. yeah right. and I think many have lost the bet in that match. even I without hesitation bet for benfica in that match. but yeah the result is really beyond my expectations. Inter Milan really cannot be underestimated. and well in the second leg of course Inter Milan will play more comfortably as the host. and at 2-0 on aggregate I think Benfica is really in a very difficult position. their chances are really slim.

Bayern Munich was not really defeated by the playing from Manchester City.
They defeated thereself mostly and for me the player Dayot Upamecano is the one that lost the game and have given Manchester City the win.
He was playing strange and 2 of his fails leaded to 2 Goals , and that broke Munich the neck in this Game yesterday.
Lets see and hopefully they play better in Munich and there is still a chance that in Bayern Munich they can surprise all.

Bayern Munich trailed 1-0 in the first half but their performance was good enough. They were able to make several great attacks. But in the second half, we only see the dominance of Manchester City players. Bayern Munich looks completely aimless. They are unable to attack or even counter Manchester City's attacks. Manchester City is playing very well. Bernardo Silva and Haaland both have a goal and an assist. But Bayern Munich goalkeeper Sommer is playing quite well today. This match was not too predictable because Inter really played very well in this match.

Bayern Munich's goalkeeper Yann Sommer made very good saves in the match. Manchester City could have scored more if Yann Sommer hadn't performed well today. He really prevented a historic defeat. Also, I think the breaking moment of the match was Upemacano's mistake. He made a simple mistake in defense and Manchester City finished the game by scoring the second goal after that mistake. Of course, it's a little early to talk now, but we can say that Manchester City passed this round and reached the semi-finals.

Yann Sommer had an excellent game despite the 3-0 scoreline. Without his skill, Bayern could have conceded even more goals. Thomas Tuchel thought his team played well until the second goal. I agree with him. But there is no doubt that Manchester City beat Bayern on all fronts.

What an incredible victory over Bayern Munich! Although the second half was promising for Bayern, their defense made a costly mistake so concede two more goals. I'm also surprised by the number of goals that scored by Man City, and I feel that Tuchel should take responsibility for this loss. I had expected one or two goals from the Bavarian at least. Perhaps if Nagelsmann had been leading the team, the outcome would have been different. While Manchester City's win in the first leg with a 3-0, I don't think that Bayern will bury them in the second leg.

Indeed, Manchester City performed quite well in this first leg, they were able to suppress Bayern Munich from the early minutes, even from the statistics of the performance of the Bayern Munich goalkeeper, Sommer to be able to ward off some of the golden opportunities, which if he failed to make a save, I would  I think there are more goals scored in this first leg.

the second leg match will certainly be a tough job for Munich to be able to make a comeback because of course Manchester City will only have to hold on to a draw, they will qualify for the semi-finals. but a draw is certainly not Manchester City's main goal. They will win again in the second leg. I'm sure that with the current good performance, Manchester City can win the UCL this season. at least see Chelsea's miracle beat madrid even though it's not possible  

Even though the second leg match may be challenging, I don't think Bayern Munich still has a chance to defeat Manchester City. Because they outscored Bayern Munich 3-0 in the first leg, Manchester City players are well-positioned to defeat Bayern Munich in the second leg. This will give them the confidence to play well on the field and play a defensive game like they did in the first leg, which will guarantee that either both teams score or the match ends in a draw.

That is right and from my analysis of the match I think Bayern Munich players were the cause of their yesterday defeat most especially when the team started on a good note from the beginning of the match, their first goal conceded was at the beginning of the loss in the games because the motivations were really affected after that goal.

And the two subsequent goals was a slide one for Manchester City since man City squads already studied Beyarn Munich's weak point and their took 100% advantage of that to have made an extra 2 goals in the match, to a total of the outcome of yesterday's match.

I still don't know the yield stick behind Bayern Munich sacking manager Julian Nagelsmann. Just two and half years in charge of the club, and he was already close of winning treble this season, he won his group stage games in the champions league. Yet the management was not satisfied with his performance. Just within few weeks in charger of the club Tuchel has lose one league cup and he's about knocking out of the champions league. Losing to Manchester city last night with such a scorelines was a disgrace to Bayern Munich. I never believed Manchester city would run down Bayern Munich like that. It's surprising but this is football, anything can happen. Let's wait for the retuning leg.


Today, Real Madrid vs Chelsea, a must watch game. Let's see if lampard will be able to shock the world by winning Real Madrid tonight. I can only imagine.

I saw that too how dominant manchester city is over bayern. City has been making 9 shots on target and i can imagine how many goals will be made by the city if yann somer was not performing so well in the last match. he has been blocking so many times and i can't even deny that if the defenders of bayern still lack of discipline. the second goal happened due to a blunder from bayern's defender. He didn't try to long pass or shoot for the ball and he was dribbling which was making a mistake. I don't even know if bayern looks like played without any effort in this game against manchester city.
Bayern just loses its consistency.

There are some critics that must critical of the bayern

- Lack of discipline for all players.
- Tuchel is confused to implement which strategy is suitable for the club

I think that tuchel must have done so many evaluations for the second leg. The performance from bayern looks like underperformance at this moment.

Tuchel shall go for all defend instead of putting a garbage strategy like that. He should advise all of players to stand in front of goal keeper.

On the other hand, Benfica's match against Inter also made a bit of sense because we know Inter are in bad form, but they were able to steal the aggregate advantage at home to Benfica with a score of 0-2. Certainly for Manchester City this result is acceptable and maybe Benfica's defeat, in my opinion, still doesn't make sense.

Bayern Munich weakness less attempt created than Manchester City, although dominance with ball possession above 53% in first half but Bayern Munich less shot on target and ball more dominance in their defensive area only. First half, Manchester City is not really dominance with ball possession but they can effective lead 1-0 awhile before second half success scored two goals and won 3-0 on first half.

Its seems easy for second half because losing under two goals still have chance qualify to semifinal, I don't think Bayern Munich have chance to comeback on second leg and bad reputation for Thomas Tuchel because he can't keep 100% winning record from julian nagelsmann after success winning all matches in Champion League this season before sacking.

A painful defeat for Bayern and Tuchel, but Tuchel is least to blame, he has just taken over the team, no miracles happen. So Bayern is as good as eliminated from the Champions League and can concentrate on the championship. A year without a title would probably be the end of the world in Munich.

What do you think about today's match Milan - Napoli? It looks like Napoli have big problems in attack, Osimhen is still injured and I see that Simeone will also miss this match. For a few more weeks, Napoli was the clear favorite for me, and now everything has changed, although Spalletti claims that they can win without Osimhen.
