I was wrong about Benfica but the hype was there because the bookies gave them as favorite too.

Last night , we saw that Inter had a great mind set since 1st half and they were determine to score no matter what and they did. Too bad for Benfica fans who saw their team having a bad day and not being able to creating scoring chances that eventually led to a defeat. However, we still have 1 game to go and everything can happen.

City - Bayern ...Oh, what a majestic show from City last night!

I was lucky because I had bet for Inter Milan in that match. and I'm actually also not too surprised by this result. because I already predicted that Inter Milan could make a surprise in that match. but I really didn't expect the Bayern vs Man City match. I really didn't expect Man City to beat Bayern here with quite a lot of scores. I don't know what the Bayern coach was thinking. because Haaland was not heavily guarded in that fight. so that Haaland and his friends really messed up Bayern's defense.

Inter Milan winning against Benfica was pretty much expected, but I didn't expect Bayern to lose 3-0 against Manchester City.
Maybe replacing Nagelsmann was a wrong decision. Bayern didn't impress me at all against City. Anyway, I'm sure that City will have a hard time in Munich and I'm also sure that City is capable of losing a three goals advantage(and Bayern is capable of scoring more than three goals, while receiving zero goals).
I really hope Napoli to beat AC Milan and reach the semi-finals. I really like their attacking style. Real Madrid won't be facing any problems against Chelsea.

Bayern Munich defeat in the first leg is certainly difficult for fans to accept, especially they have seen how Bayern Munich journey this season in the Champions League competition was quite impressive, but they had to swallow a big defeat to Manchester City.

It is impossible for Tuchel to be an actor who can be blamed because he is new to Bayern Munich and the change of coach have made Bayern Munich in an unstable condition plus the injuries to several players which made them less than perfect in this first leg.

Inter, like many Italian clubs, defended very well and took their chances well, this will be very very difficult for Benfica, don't think that at Inters home game Benfica can win and make three goals...

Inter showed an excellent game, they managed to get the maximum result in such a difficult match, it was hard to imagine a better outcome. For Benfica, this will most likely become an irreparable situation, because Inter can play well in defense.

What do you think about today's match Milan - Napoli? It looks like Napoli have big problems in attack, Osimhen is still injured and I see that Simeone will also miss this match. For a few more weeks, Napoli was the clear favorite for me, and now everything has changed, although Spalletti claims that they can win without Osimhen.

Inter Milan sticked to their game plan and it worked perfectly well because they took there chances and scored two goals knowing they are very good defensively, however they are not spectacular in there attacking while Benfica missed there own chances despite playing well, as it stand now Benfica doesn't stand a chance to overturn a 2-0 deficit in San Siro. In today's match Napoli will surely missed their workaholic striker Osimen in today's due to a thigh injury as it stand it's difficult to predict the likely between the two club though AC Milan defeated Napoli 4-0 in their last meeting, however this is a UCL I am expecting a tough match between the two teams.

Could be the year Man City finally win it with Guardiola, they’ve spent so much money that it was bound to happen eventually. Haaland is the killer in the box that they’ve been missing. Aguero was good but Haaland looks next level.

A 3-0 win from the first leg against Bayern looks like an unassailable lead in the tie. In the other 1/4 final last night Inter took charge with a 2-0 win. City & Inter with one foot each in the semi final.

Manchester City were just too good in all departments, and Bayern Munich couldn't cope with it the way they were playing. Too many schoolboy errors from Upamecano. Bayern Munich were beaten by their own game. That's both Intensity wise and physically. I expected at least a goal or two from them considering that they’re a goal scoring side. Honestly with the outcome of that game, i don't think there is much to play for in the second leg but never say never when it comes to football.

If you give away free goals like Bayern did yesterday, then obviously you don't really have a chance against a very strong team like Manchester City. In general the performance of Bayern Munich was pretty good though in my opinion. Even Pep Guardiola said, that Bayern was the better team during most phases of the game, but of course that does not help if you are making huge mistakes in the defense.
The first goal of City was a beautiful shot from the distance that was only possible because Rodri was given the space to shoot and obviously the second goal for City was a total gift from Upamecano who suddenly decided to start dribbling in his own box, which was just stupid. Up until the 2-0 happened i think that Bayern was the better team, after the second goal it was over.

Honestly, I'm very disappointed with the Benfica game, I expected a lot more from them.
In the previous round of the competition, they beat Club Brugge very convincingly,  5:1, and they seemed like a strong, powerful team that has the potential to go to the final of this competition.
They are also dominant in the Portuguese championship, but yesterday in the match against Inter they were disappointing and did not show anything, they were completely powerless.
Inter have now emerged as serious contenders for the final of this competition, and Manchester City blew me away against Bayern, and it looks like this could finally be their year in the Champions League.

I still can't believe that Bayern Munich in last night's match will be beaten 3-0 without reply. Even though I know very well that this is Manchester City's home match in the first leg, even if Bayern Munich loses at least by a fairly thin score. However, it seems that coach Thomas Tuchel couldn't do anything and made his debut in dealing with Bayern Munich in the UCL competition by losing.

On the other hand, Benfica's match against Inter also made a bit of sense because we know Inter are in bad form, but they were able to steal the aggregate advantage at home to Benfica with a score of 0-2. Certainly for Manchester City this result is acceptable and maybe Benfica's defeat, in my opinion, still doesn't make sense.

Yes, Upamecano, I almost forgot about the Bayern Munich defender. He often made passing mistakes in the penalty area and sometimes held control of the ball for too long which resulted in blunders like the second goal scored by Bernardo Silva. On the other hand, Yann Sommer's performance was impressive with a few saves and it's just that Bayern Muchen's back line played so badly that Manchester City could take so many chances to convert into goals. For the second leg there is still little hope for Bayern Munich to turn around at home, but the percentage is very small. I hope that the two teams will continue to play openly so that the match becomes more exciting.

Manchester City's first goal was spectacular. Rodri scored a nice goal. And City's next two goals were quite easy. If Munich's defenders played well, Manchester City would not have scored the next two goals. I found Munich's defense completely out of whack in this match. They looked tired of fending off Manchester City's attacks. However, Munich's goalkeeper made several excellent saves. Otherwise, Munich would have conceded at least 5 goals in this match. The performance of Munich's attacking players was also very poor in this match due to poor defense.

It's a difficult job when in the second leg match later for Bayern Munich's comeback it won't even be possible to win more than 3 goals, Manchester City really took advantage of this first leg match perfectly and that's thanks to Guardiola who is smart in managing strategy and tactics, I'm sure Manchester City will go to the next round of UCL semi-finals, but on the other hand City are not quite calm if Madrid the defending champions are still there, unless there is a miracle Chelsea beat madrid today.

The meeting between Napoli and Milan previously met in the Italian league match last week, Napoli was beaten 4-0 by Milan, so that will be a reference that Milan can win the first leg of the UCL quarter-finals today even though with a different atmosphere I think Napoli and Milan will be a good match, I bet that Milan will win narrowly or the final result will be a draw, while Madrid may have the upper hand to win because of Chelsea's not-so-good performance lately. but miracles always happen, no one knows and my bets are on Milan and Madrid

I didn't pay much attention to Milan and Benfica match because of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich match. But I was somehow surprised when I saw the hype in favour of Benfica against Milan. After seeing the hype I checked their stat but I could not come up with anything reasonable and that was how I abandoned the match and didn't predict it.
Benfica if they pass this stage has become a serious contender together with Napoli who is already pulling weights in the competition.

The interesting thing is that Inter Milan kicked out the Portugal teams one by one however Inter Milan is even showing poor performance in these games and they deserve to lose the game against Porto and Benfica. The competition between AC Milan and Napoli will be amazing because AC Milan won the match against Napoli a few days ago in Serie A which can make things hard for Napoli.

The result against benfica played away is unpredictable. Intermilan was not dominating the match but intermilan was kicking portugal club again this time. The thing that surprises me is if benfica was not even able to make a goal when it was playing at home. The journey of intermilan is not ended yet. Intermilan must be facing benfica in san siro. Intermilan needs to be very careful in the second leg. Im sure that benfica will be going full offense against intermilan in the second leg. It's caused by benfica need to make as many goal as possible to be qualified for the semi final.

This is a very interesting match for us to see how benfica will able to change the situation. It needs more than a miracle to do that. Benfica needs to make 3 goals at least to win against intermilan.
Im not even sure if intermilan will not make any goals when it wil be playing at home. It seems like that benfica is in a very difficult moment. Benfica needs to take a big gamble by going all offensive against intermilan in san siro or give up.

Napoli is experiencing a decline in performance ahead of the Big Match match vs Milan, the injury suffered by Victor Osimhen has greatly affected Napoli's recent appearance.
