As for AC Milan, they're through to the next round, which was a real surprise to many. Napoli lost due to a combination of losing key players and missed penalty from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. I can't believe to see an underdog come out on top, but AC Milan certainly earned their spot in the semi-finals.

Giroud didn't score a penalty either, so it's a mutual loss of opportunity. What can I say, the result is certainly unexpected, I would say that in this situation, Milan was able to do the impossible, they focused on defense, which was expected, and this brought the result. In the first half, Napoli lost Politano and Rui due to injuries, which is a very big loss for the team. As for the Inter-Benfica match, will we really see the Milan derby in the Champions League semi-finals?

Yeah, i would second that, of course it would be disappointing and painful for Napoli to be eliminated yesterday, but i don't think they can have too much to complain about, they were never going to win the CL this season, you would have to arrive in the later stages many, many times, before you stand a chance prolly play a final and try and win it. Napoli are definitely going to win their league title in an amazing way, thus to do that and get to the CL QF is a successful season for them, and they can aim for more next season.

this is proof that the mentality of the AC Milan team is much better on the European stage, this is UCL and everyone knows not just because a team is doing well in its domestic league will do the same here.
and this is an extraordinary season for Napoli, no one thought they would be able to go this far and also they could almost ensure a trophy in Serie A and for their long journey in the UCL this season of course they have to be proud and there is nothing to regret, they have been very good this season.

They have more experience than Napoli that is a sure thing as they have won the Champions League several times.I am sorry for Napoli though as they lost a critical penalty in a critical moment and I don't understand why didn't Osimhen shoot it but let the huge responsibility to that classy Georgian player which I have difficulty saying his name like most of us I believe  .Napoli for me is the most unlucky team in the Champions League,they completely dominated the game yesterday night but could not convert a lot of goal scoring opportunities and the more the time passed the heavier Napoli players were psychologically which in the end translated in their elimination from the Champions League.

This is just a lucky win for Milan, how inconsistent this team is in the Serie A League, even Milan is very difficult to bring down Napoli in several League Matches, but there is an experience and understanding of defeat in the League that made Ac Milan get up and come out victorious in the match earlier  tonight, that's why mentality and experience and luck are a factor in them still advancing to the next round, but it's not certain that when they meet a strong team in the next round, it's possible they will be eliminated in the semifinal match.

AC Milan's performance wasn't exactly stunning... All the statistics were against them except for shots on target and that made the difference. In the end AC Milan was more efficient, but it would at least be fair to say that Napoli was also not given a penalty that should have been awarded without any doubt. Leao clearly fouled the Napoli guy. They could and should have scored earlier anyway, but if you don't then it is the well-known problem of time running out.

If it were predictable it would be boring right? Napoli weren't lucky, but if you look at them they achieved their goal of the Italian internal championship. I would say that it is an excellent season for them.

I guess it's not a matter of luck, it's a matter of consistency. Yesterday's draw with Milan was the third game in a row that Milan have not lost. I also think that Napoli are very young for the Champions League, they have very little experience in such serious competitions. Napoli have had a very good season indeed. They had to score that penalty. What a travesty! Napoli had a good chance of playing the semi-final for the first time. I don't understand how they beat Milan easily in Serie A but lose in Champions League. The teams are same, only the platform is different. That shows Champions League arena is way different than any other tournament. Only the name is enough for teams to stay out of their routine.

Ac milan will obviously get a pretty tough opponent in the next game, even if I see them facing a team of candidates for the Champion title. But for that we will see the results of today's matches where Bayern Munich vs Manchester City and Inter Milan vs Benfica.

maybe for today's match I have confidence that Manchester City and Inter Milan will advance to the semifinals. So if that happens there are two teams from the representatives of Italy who will enter the semifinals and I hope they will not meet in the semifinals, I mean Ac milan vs inter milan.

In the Milan-Napoli match, it was Milan who advanced. Honestly, I didn't expect such a result with Napoli dominating the league. I must say they surprised me a lot. Napoli didn't play very well in both games and it was Milan who drew this one and went through. Real Madrid won 2-0 in the first leg. Today, in a game that ended in a draw in the first half, they won with goals in the second half. We can say that it is normal for real madrid to eliminate chelsea. Napoli will focus more on the league after this.

I'm also quite disappointed with the results they got in the second leg, because for the first leg their defeat was a natural thing considering that the match was an away game from Napoli. But in this second leg the result is completely unacceptable. As you said, Napoli are dominating in the league and nothing can prevent them from getting the Serie A title, but they are playing like clowns in UCL especially in the second leg (their home game). AC Milan really still have their usual winning mentality in the UCL.

Napoli are indeed in their heyday again in Serie A. But in the Champions League Napoli are a little unlucky. because they had to lose in the quarter finals due to defeat in the first leg. and the defeat was due to several of their mainstay strikers who were injured and unable to play in the first leg. and when they recover and are able to play the second leg I think still Milan are trying hard to hold their advantage. Napoli played very well for this second leg. but as we can see Osimhen in the second leg was really heavily guarded and couldn't do much. even so I am still amazed by Napoli. because it has made the Champions League this season a little different with their presence. although it's a shame they had to stop until the quarter-finals. but now Napoli must focus again on adding superiority in Serie A.

If they had scored in the first half and had control of the game the match could have ended with a very different result but goalkeeper Courtois made excellent saves throughout the match. Real Madrid managed to pass the round again as if they were the main team of the tournament.

Chelsea really performed well in the first half to blocked Real Madrid not to score a single goal in the first half, because Chelsea defenders didn't give Real Madrid strikers any chance to have access to their goalpost than to made the first half ended up draw 0-0. Real Madrid goalkeeper really help their team to avoid disgrace from Chelsea, because Chelsea gain many opportunities that would have given Chelsea three goals to weak the power of Real Madrid but Real Madrid goalkeeper saved all the balls not to allow Chelsea to achieve a single goal through out the match. Indeed Real Madrid deserved that victory, because they really prepared to eliminate Chelsea from the tournament which they did by defeated Chelsea 2-0.

Poor finishing in Chelsea final third was responsible for lack of goal in their match against Real Madrid of course N'Golo Kante and Marc Cucurella missed chances could have changed the match had they scored those scoring chances unfortunately got punished, moreso Lampard tactical formation of starting a single attacker was also a major factor responsible for lack of goals,  it's obvious that Chelsea can't be playing a experience team in UCL like Real Madrid and miss some scoring chances, meanwhile Chelsea is out of UCL and currently in 11th position and with no chances of playing UCL next season, in the other match Napoli missed penalty affected their chances of comeback unfortunately are out of UCL

The manner in which Chelsea played yesterday was nice, but they could not score which is disheartening. I believe people must have some kind of compassion for the club due to this as they deem it more deserving than Real Madrid which used a better goal-scoring sense against them. Besides, the Napoli incident is another one, the hope was high yesterday as Victor Osimhen played, and he managed to score once, but the guy cannot kill himself. That has gone, and more opportunities will come for these clubs, especially Napoli which has never reached the quarter-final before.

What exactly is Chelsea's problem this season? Is it the coach, board or the players? Is it the motivation is just getting low?

Ups and downs in a team is a common problem and can happen to any club.  and right now, that drop is with Chelsea. there are many problems in the Chelsea camp, not only because of the coach, but also the problems with the players. look, how they have changed coaches, even up to four coaches at once. although, two of them are interim coaches.
The problem is not just the coach, but more the whole thing, whether it's Todd Boehly as the owner, the technical director who doesn't know football, the coach who doesn't control the locker room, the players who have problems scoring goals.

IMO, this is complex, we only see from the outside, what happened to them, we actually never know. imagine, there are 11 Forwards there, not to mention the other players. but for sure, every player wants to play his part and be a starter. that is, it is likely that there will be polemics in the Chelsea locker room. which in the end, only adds to the row of problems that occur to them. yes, as we see today.

Speaking of last night's game, I tried to take a risk to bet on Chelsea, even though I really know that the probability of Real Madrid is very high to win the match. as a result, I lost.
To be honest, I'm quite satisfied watching this fight even though I'm a little annoyed. because, they couldn't score a goal, even though there were several opportunities that should have been maximized. but, at least Chelsea has shown its best version, especially in the first half.
next, Chelsea just need to fix the center forward players. plus, getting a potential trainer. and, congratulations to Real Madrid who have the right to qualify for the next phase.

Napoli didn't fight

I didn't understand what exactly Napoli did today. I choose to watch Napoli vs Ac Milan over Real Madrid because I believed the battle between Napoli vs Ac Milan would be more fierced but I was rather disappointed when Napoli played what I would call an uncoordinated football.
From the 1st minute to the 90th minute, Napoli players refused to connect their key player and their striker Victor Osimhen throughout the match.
It was towards the end of the match, after 90 minutes that the selfish players began to send the ball into the box towards Osimhen. And also the coach of Napoli didn't make any efforts to call his boys to order and that has caused him the champions league, having paraded one of the most inform clubs in the Champions League.

Congratulations to Milan for the win. Napoli had many chances in the second half to score, but the team missed those chances. Napoli equalized, but it was too late. Both teams didn't score penalties, that's very rare. Perhaps the teams wanted to exchange pleasantries. Milan go to the semifinals of the Champions League and now wait for their opponent.

I think we might see a high scoring match between Bayern Munich and Manchester City today, since Bayern Munich are falling behind by 3 goals on aggregate, it would simply make no sense for them to play defensively at the Allianz Arena in front of their home fans. The only slim chance for Bayern Munich to progress further in the Uefa Champions League would be to attack right from the start of the match and hoping to score goals with full support of their home fans cheering loudly for them.

I guess Bayern Munich might be able to beat Manchester City today but it might not change the result of Bayern Munich crashing out of the Uefa Champions League as falling behind by 3 goals on aggregate are a tough task to overcome.

I was impressed by Chelsea's performance against Real Madrid. They played differently than they played in their last three games they perform so badly. If that they utilize their opportunities well in the first half to score, victory would have been theirs in the second half.

It's depressing to learn that Chelsea failed to score a goal against Real Madrid in either of their home or away matches. It is tough to understand how Chelsea has descended to this level of embarrassment after conceding two goals both at home and away against Real Madrid.

Chelsea in this season they are quite easy to beat even in the Epl a low ranked team can beat them quite easily. Moreover, last night's match Chelsea played quite inconsistently and their opponents were the strongest team in the Champions League. The defeats from the first leg and second leg were very difficult for Chelsea to accept, but that is the fact that they have become a weak team this season.

Real madrid is the strongest candidate and the most consistent team in the Champions league, I think real madrid will again qualify for the final before we say they are the team that will win the champions league this season.
