Napoli where my favorite team to win this season champions League, but so painful that they are out of the champions League beating by AC Milan. Napoli has an early chance to take the lead but they lost it, after missing the penalty then it was clear that they were never going to make it through to the next stage, their only hope now is winning the serial A title which they have won already because with numbers of points they have gathered already no team is going to but pressure on them again, AC Milan played really well they are now through to the next level.

It was very surprising for me, because in today's match AC Milan managed to win the quarter-final match vs Napoli after the second leg managed to draw with a score of 1 - 1. In fact, from the mental position and stability of the game in the domestic league, Napoli should have been able to win. But, luck with Milan this time. It's a good thing for Milan to at least prove that they still have targets this season.

I was expecting a much better game from Napoli, I was disappointed. Milan played very well, we have to give their due. The wind seemed to be in favor of Napoli when Giroud missed the penalty, but when Giroud scored a goal just before the end of the first half, the morale in Napoli broke down. Yet they tried so hard to return. Kvaratskelia failed to turn the penalty into a goal. If that goal had been scored, Napoli would have had enough time to find the second goal. Osimhen scored a great header but time was up for Napoli. It's necessary to congratulate Milan, they deservedly passed the tour. We can say that the experienced side wins.

Napoli actually played well but one thing was that Ac Milan were prepare for the second leg. They were aware of the unexpected and expected and attack all through while being conscious of their defense. Honestly I’m proud of Ac Milan, they deserves alot of credit with the manner in which they approached the game. They were very organized and played as team, both defensively and offensively, something which Napoli lacked in both encounters.

In my opinion, the team that lost in leg 1 is difficult to comeback. It's even difficult for Bayer Munich to escape even though later in the second leg there is hope of winning. This year, it seems that UCL is not like last year which was full of surprises in the Knockout round.

The possibility of Bayern Munich to qualify for the next round is very slim, although there is still hope that Bayern Munich will be able to score more goals in today's game at home. But seeing the quality of Manchester City's players this season, it looks like it will be very difficult for Bayern Munich to score more goals in the Champions League second leg this season.

This year's UCL is only for teams that are consistent, have a strong mentality and UCL DNA that can win. Such as: Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Inter Milan. Even Man City, which has zero UCL trophies, and doesn't have UCL DNA, has the chance to qualify, judging by their consistency in every match.

I look more at the mentality of each team than the DNA because not always those who have won the Champions League can win again this season if they don't play well enough. Because apart from the luck factor, the factor of great players must also be looked at because it also has an influence in the Champions League so I see that Manchester City has the possibility of getting into the Champions League final this season because the players are pretty good even though Manchester City doesn't have DNA yet champion in the Champions League.

When time went more, they lost their patience more and it gave AC Milan players more chance to do counter attacks.

AC Milan do have a perfect player to do this task, Rafael Leao and with absence of Anguissa and Kim Min Jae, Napoli defense system was exploited easily by Leao. One of those situations lead to the goal for AC Milan which mostly nailed the ticket to semi final for them. A failed penalty from Kravatskhelia and a late equalizer from Osimhen only make this draw is painful for Napoli.

Mentally I thought Napoli had nothing to lose in the second leg but in the end luck was not on their side yesterday. Milan are very good in defense, their goalkeeper is in perfect condition to thwart Napoli's many comeback moments. Penalty saving was very important for Milan, but Milan had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Actually I had predicted that Milan would qualify for the semifinals by beating Napoli, and it happened. It's been a really great season for Milan and all of its staff even though they still have to fight to reach the dream final.

I saw statistics for the matchup of Napoli vs. Milan over both games and i have to say those statistics were heavily in favor of Napoli. They had like 70% or more ball possession and also the amount of shots were on the same level as the one of Milan. The only difference is that Napoli was not able to score as many goals out of that chances as Milan was able to. Also i have to say that yesterday Milan was pretty lucky too. I mean just look at that foul of Leao in the box. For me that definitely was a penalty and i still can not understand, why the VRA did not even tell the Referee to look at the replays again. If he would have look at it, i am sure he would have given a penalty there.

I didn't think that Inter could win their match at Benfica headquarters. although in theory and analysis, it is in accordance with what I previously suspected. however, the result is quite surprising. and yes, I lost the first leg betting.
Speaking of the fight in the second leg that will be held today, actually Inter is more fortunate because it plays in front of its own public. but I wouldn't be surprised if Simone Inzaghi will continue to use the same pattern and system, Inzaghi will still use the 3-5-2 formation.

I don't know why but it looks like there is something wrong with napoli. It was playing so badly at home. It's not performing as usual. So many pressures to the ac milan were not even working.
It's disappointing that napoli was not qualified for the semifinal. Spalletti needs to find an alternative strategy when strategy can be read easily by its opponent.
Spalletti needs to learn how to analyze past match to be used as data for future matches. it's not all of clubs will always be playing monoton. It has proven by pioli if he was made some changes in ac milan and it works.

Never say never. Let's Bayern get the first goal within the first 20-30 minutes and they start believing in the miracle.
We have seen bigger gaps equalized in the KO round of the champions league. As long as Bayern believes in it and keeps Haaland in check there will always be a chance, especially playing in Munich.

I can't believe that Napoli is gone. I honestly believed that they had a chance to win it all, a small chance but it looked quite possible. My idea was that they would beat Milan because they were better in the league, and Inter as well for the same reason, which would see them on the finals, and that is a single game so anything could happen on the final game. That was quite possible and even likely, right now not only they are not at the finals but they literally lost at quarter finals to Milan, a team they have so much more points on the league and yet they lost here.

It's a shame really, I wish we have seen them in the finals, that would have made it a lot more fun to watch overall. Hopefully we will see a big game between Milan vs Inter at least.

I got my predictions wrong yesterday.
I had thought that the Real vs Chelsea game would have more than 2.5 goals and also that Napoli would qualify.
I was getting a lot of games right, but I really got it wrong.

For today's games the obvious thing is to bet on M. City and Inter to qualify, however I think there is an interesting bet to make on the M. City game.
My prediction is that the game will have more than 3 goals, and the reasons are that Bayern badly needs the victory by 3 goals difference or more, and M. City has great chances to score goals. In the last 6 matches Manchester City has scored an incredible number of 27 goals, almost unbelievable, and that was included 2 Champions League matches.

Unlike Chelsea who are going through a horrible phase, Bayern have a better team and have been scoring goals, in the last 6 matches they have scored 12 goals, and the last time they didn't score a goal was on September 17, 2022.

These are my reasons to believe in a match with lots of goals.

Victor Osimhen couldn't do much, maybe if he had played from leg 1 the results would have been different. But it had to happen, inevitably Napoli accepted defeat. Even though Oshimen gave a goal contribution in Leg 2, of course it wasn't enough because there was still 1 point left on aggregate. Not only you, but even all active gamblers also drop their bets on Napoli. This result will be quite ideal for Milan, who have long missed the Champions League semi-finals.

So who will Milan face? Inter and Benfica in the end will be a difficult journey to continue to the top of the final. With the advantage of Leg 1 for Inter, they still can't make them safe, therefore in this match, both teams will definitely do everything they can to get a ticket to the semi-finals.

Inter against Benfica is also a pretty exciting match in this QF round and even though Inter have a slight advantage on aggregate, the result is still not safe for Inter even though they will host the second leg later. Meanwhile, benfica continues to achieve less than optimal results in the domestic league and maybe they will again have difficulty winning in this match against Inter. But Inter are also in poor form in the domestic league but for the champions league they have been quite consistent in their previous matches. With both teams having solid defenses, I think I will bet under 2.5 in this match.
