You're right, the 4 teams that have qualified for the semifinals this season are only Manchester City who have never won the Champions League Trophy. Thus this is a good enough season for Manchester City to end their bad streak in the Champions League by making the most of the semifinal matches as possible to qualify for the final. Imo Manchester City have always been a complete team, they have just been somewhat unlucky in the CL knockout stages even after scoring quite a lot of goals, last season against Real Madrid in the CL SF City scored five times, but defensive errors and lack of concentration cost them so much, and they ended up conceding 6 goals, thus they were eliminated. What i think is that City are now a more matured team in the CL, and that's all round, i mean in every department, not just because of Erling Haaland, the team now knows when to sit back and defend and when to go on all attack, and we saw that side of City against Bayern Munich in the QF 2nd leg. City are going to go through to the final, they are better prepared for Real Madrid and they are beginning to accrue the well needed experience to win games such as this.

Now, Manchester City is the strongest nominee to win the title this season according to the odds providers. However, Real Madrid managed to win it many times when the odds weren't favoring them. Manchester City's biggest difference from last season is the participation of Haaland, who is able to change something for them, as well as being the top scorer now with 12 goals, and has the chance to break Ronaldo's record with 16 goals in one season, so this should give additional incentive for him. I think we can watch a finale between Milan and Manchester City which I would really like to see. There is a huge quality difference in terms of player and game both of course. But still Milan are another team that have a really solid history in the Champions League after Real Madrid.
