I don't care how favorite Manchester City are in the Champions League this season, it certainly won't make me feel less confident to support Real Madrid to qualify for the final. If Manchester City deserved to go through, we (Real Madrid) deserved to do it too. I do not think that it will be possible and City has a chance to score at any moment, even if Real tries to attack, one country where they just throw the ball ahead could mean Haaland getting the ball and destroying anyone on his path. We may see Rudiger become like Upamecano as well, so there is a lot more chances this year without a doubt.

I'm not so sure about Real Madrid's defense right now even though they have the best defenders right now in Militao and Rudiger. But I am more focused on Camavinga's development, he could be a reliable tackler at the back line for Real Madrid. We know very well how his interceptions or tackles are always on point and that is the perfect value for one of the best young defensive midfielders currently owned by Real Madrid. I'm also not going to judge Real Madrid's strength from their performance in La Liga for the Champions League, because it could be that at this point Real Madrid prefers to save the energy of its players and a precise strategy to use in matches in the Champions League. So that Real Madrid at this point are not really paying attention to La Liga anymore for the rest of this season.

Last season Real also played against 3 English clubs, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool and was better in all those matches.
I think you agree that Chelsea and Liverpool played much better last season but still had no chance against Real.
It seems to me that Real likes to play against English clubs and mostly always wins, and I somehow have a feeling that Real will win again and win another Champions League, and that history will repeat itself.

Manchester City cannot be compared to Liverpool and Chelsea this season. Because Chelsea and Liverpool are really in a terrible inconsistency. especially Chelsea. Even this season, Chelsea have fired their coach twice, namely Tuchel and Potter. Manchester City really has quality far above Chelsea and Liverpool for now. So I might be happy to favor Manchester city this time. Last season Manchester City made a bit of carelessness at the end of the match which made Real Madrid score 3 goals in the final minute. and I think Manchester city have learned from their experience last season. So this time Manchester city is much more prepared than before.
