The derby between AC Milan and Inter in this semi finals of UCL was an exciting match even though i was waiting for that but to be honest I was also hoping for AC Milan to come back in the game and see a different rythme at least by scoring in the first half. Unfortunately this wasnt the case as Inter played with animpressive defense stoping most of Milan's attacks and creating chances for them also.
Adding that Ismaël Bennace couldn't play due to his injury that could keep our Algerian midfielder out for over 6 months as i read. Bennace has a unique playing style in creating chances and switching the rythme of his teammates which is something that Milan is missing in the midfield today and his absence allowed Inter to create easy counterattacks and score that one goal which ended Milan team hopes of a comeback.

Tomorrow we will know Inter's opponent between Real Madrid and Manchester City both of which are stronger teams than Inter in my opinion. Even that in football anything is possible which is what makes it exciting to watch and bet on if you agree with me.

Indeed it was. I was expecting Milan to put up a fight, but I didn't get to see that. They played well but weren't able to get enough crosses into the inter Milan eighteen yard box to at least find a goal. What a game and a big congratulations to inter for getting into the finals once again.

Leading 2 goals in 1st Leg, Inter Milan played more confidently. While AC Milan really played under pressure, they think too much about the score gaps and they were difficult to improve their game. AC Milan won the ball possessions, but they failed to make enough chances to score. AC Milan midfielders didn't play quite well, AC Milan attackers did the same way. It is difficult to score more than 2 goals if there are not enough shoot attempts.

Well, Inter Milan performed as expected, they can defend their leading and even make 1 goal more. They deserve to qualify for the final round, I hope they can play better in the final match. Inter Milan has a chance to win UCL title this season.

Inter deserves to be in the finals because Milan wouldn't play very well in the finals due to their incapacity of scoring goal in today's match. Leao was unable to perform today due to that the fact that he just came back from injury. Inter won Milan both in the first leg and second to show that they are in a good form than Milan. Tomorrow will decide which club will play the finals with Inter. I hope that Manchester city can qualify to the finals if they take the game very serious, because they will be playing in Etihad. On the other hand Madrid wouldn't just sit down and allow Manchester city to win them in the match because they have target on the trophy.

I don't agree with the people who think that Milan really tried their best today. This wasn't among their best performances in this season that's for certain. They were pretty weak at creating many goal chances as well. They had only 1 goal attempt in the second half which was just horrible. How can they be this much bad while they are in need of scoring at least 2 goals without conceding any?

This bad look of them was punished by Inter finally of course and Inter won this match as well. One thing is certain that Inter completely deserved to eliminate them. They looked strong in both matches and they didn't have much resistance from their opponent either. But Inter's job in the final round will be very difficult.

That's the surprise that happens in football where the team that is underestimated will be able to go pretty well in every game. even for inter milan they have done a pretty good job of reaching the Champions league final.  Martinez has been one of the players who has shone quite a bit at Inter Milan this season. He managed to contribute 1 goal in the second leg which locked Inter Milan victory in the second leg and they were 3-0 on aggregate and really deserved it.

Ac milan tried their best but they failed in the first leg which made it difficult for them to turn things around in the second leg. Both of these teams performed well enough to even boast fans from Serie A this season.

At first, many underestimated Inter Milan. But now I think Inter deserve to be in the UCL final, the fact is that Inter milan is in the same group as Bayer Munich and Barcelona and Inter milan can qualify from the group which can be said to be the group of hell. Meet Ac Milan in the semifinals now proceed to the finals. It must be admitted that Inter this season in the UCL is better than Milan.

Congratulations to Inter MIlan for fighting for their first UCL Final this season since 2010 and their second European Final in the last four seasons.
Inter milan managed to Revenge against Ac Milan for the 2003 UCL semifinals which at that time Inter Milan lost because of away goals.

Inter Milan indeed is a powerful clubs this season and how they managed to work their way into qualifying for the finals I quite amazing and commendable, yes most football fans have underestimated Inter Milan for a long but there is no doubt the fact that,  in all their performance in this season,  the inter Milan squads have shown a high level of technical play format that make them stand out in this seasons. And this final qualification to battle for the title is a pointer to how Inter Milan is prepared to lift the trophy this season even though their chances are slim considering the kind of club their going fo face in the finals.

I agree with you, Inter Milan has shown good impression in their performance this season despite not showing good quality in their league but they have been so consistent in pushing themselves through to the champions league I believe it's a dream come true to them because even when they are fighting to be among  the 4teams that will qualify for the champions league next season but they now have more opportunities to be in the champions league next season even though they fail to be among the top4 teams in SeriaA winning the champions league will give them the authomatic qualification to be in the champions league and that will boast their performance and more good players will also be attracted to the club.

Hopefully Lukaku will have an effect in the finals of the competition when they will face either Manchester City or Real Madrid. Inter Milan has not been a very strong team this season in the Italian league and even their journey to the finals has not been very convincing, I just hope that against whichever team they play in the finals they should put up a really different and better performance that what they have been showcasing all season to make sure that the final is not one-sided.

If manchester city or real madrid had haaland or benzema and intermilan had lukaku which has a very good physic. Lukaku can also played like a winger and he is giving very crucial impact to the club. They lacked confidence and that was their problem coming into this game. Psychologically they already accepted their fate that they were out of the champions league competition. Ac Milan knew they couldn't win Inter Milan and that's where this performance that they put on this night came from. I regretted watching the game because it wasn't interesting. I hate matches that there are not enough goals in them. Atleast both sides should score so we can have an interesting game. AC Milan didn't lose with the heads high, they did that in the worst way ever.

I'm not surprised Ac Milan lost, they have only won inter Milan onces in the last five matches that they have played against themselves including the champions league. I think the better side won today. Now we wait on the giants to play tomorrow and I'll be supporting Manchester city to progress to the next stage of the competition. Real Madrid has overdone their time, they keep making other teams look like they're not trying as they constantly dominate the champions league. I think Manchester city ends all that tomorrow and brings the trophy to England.

I knew the game was over after the first leg. It's 1-0 full-time and Inter Milan has won back to back. Some persons were hoping on AC Milan's marksman, Rafael Leao who is enjoying a fantastic campaign this season with 13 goals and 13 assist to make a difference. He was on the sideline in their last encounter as a result of a muscle tear injury but sadly his presence in today's game could not fire them to the next stage of the competition.

As you can see that from the statistic if acmilan was only able making a single shot that proves how consistent the defensive line of intermilan at this moment. It's as good as intermilan's attacking lines.
Ac milan fans were only counting to the leao but remember if this game is a game for eleven players. The came of leao will not give significant impact to the club. I see no difference with ac milan in the first leg.

The defensive line of acmilan is a bit solid caused by intermilan was so difficult to break it.

In what was supposed to be the biggest Milan rivalries match, they were pretty bad in both legs, managing just two shots on target in 180 minutes, one in the first leg and another in the second leg. At least in a game this significant, someone would have expected both teams to score and there to be some really tight aggregate scoreline. AC Milan disappointed most of us and I've never seen them this bad, and I'm sure Napoli players are upset about how they lost to this AC Milan team now. The worst mistake Milan did was allowing Inter to win them by 2 goals at their home in the first leg. That 2 goals defeat was what demoralized them in putting up a strong armor to challenge Inter fully without fear of losing.
I have a question, was Milan thinking that even though they have their best performance, it will give them the sole victory over Inter just like that without having Inter play their head off to make sure they win not lose since is a home advantage for them?

I don't think Inter Milan managed to get to the finals. They had a convincing home and away win against a very strong Italian side that knocked out Napoli. Inter came into this game with a winning mentality and it led to constant attacking runs that produced four shots on target while Milan was sloppy in their attacks. Maignan is a great goalkeeper but he didn't cover the right angle very well that was why Martínez scored. But the goalkeeper made some good saves.

I have to confess that I am one of the people that predicted that Manchester City will beat Real Madrid mercilessly. But the first leg have taught me a big lesson. This game is unpredictable because it seems that Real has figured out ways of taming the wild attack of City. Haaland was well-handled in the game. My prediction now is any team can win.
