Looks like luck is on Arsenal side as I think they could have not asked for an easier opponent than Sporting and that most likely Arsenal will have an easy qualification for this stage.The favorites remain three teams now that Barcelona is surprisingly out of the Europa League and they are,Arsenal,Juventus and Manchester United.From these three teams both of them have I would call easy encounters as Juventus is playing Freiburg and Manchester United is playing Betis which is weaker than Barcelona that they eliminated,so the 1/8 stage looks interesting so far.

It won't be an easy opponent as you said. The performance from sporting CP in the its primeira league is very good. I meant look at how it was able to sit at the top positions along with benfica and another club like porto and braga.
Arsenal will be much more favorite in this match but i think that if you shall not underestimate sporting CP. The name of sporting CP was not so popular as arsenal. I meant people very familiar with arsenal but not with sporting CP.

I think that arsenal and MU have the biggest chance to win the europa league compared with another team like juventus. Sporting CP was going to the europa legue caused by this club was not able passing the group qualifier on UCL.

It is true and i agree. However, The Red Devil's journey to win this competition trophy will not be easy. we agree, that The Red Devils are one of the strong candidates in the hunt for the Europa League trophy. considering, their current performance is in a positive trend. however, that alone is not enough to win titles in other competitions. besides there are still other candidates who also have the potential to fight for this competition, The Red Devils have a pretty busy match schedule.

In a week, The Red Devils will play their matches in three different competitions. It could be, but I think it's clear that Manchester United wants to be the winner of the European league.  How eager they played in the Barcelona match and their joy was worth seeing.  I am sure that they will concentrate on the European league and work hard to win the cup.  Arsenal fighting for the Premier league title may be less concentrated on the European league but Manchester United want that trophy.

I agree with you because in the Europa league we have watched teams who were underestimated and not considered as favorites emerge as winners. In this season many other options we have still competing, we have Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, etc who are in fine form and firing up so it is difficult to tell at this stage which team will emerge champions.
