Portuguese teams are really good this season. And Sporting Lisbon have a very good squad. Arsenal may have done a good job by getting a draw in the first game. They will play the second match at Emirates. I agree with you on this. I think they can finish the result there. But if Martinelli had scored in the position he created at 58 minutes, they could have passed the round earlier. Also, that position could have been the goal of the year. Because Martinelli made some really great dribbles in that position. I think he was a little unlucky.

Manchester United did better yesterday, defeating Real Betis by 4:1. It was a good result to recover from their disgrace last weekend. Manchester United will also go away and defeat Real Betis in the  second leg.

They didn't lose the got a 2-2 result against Sporting, however, this is more like a loss to Arsenal to get this result in a game with Sporting when they are currently the first team in the premier league while I think Arsenal performed very well and they deserved victory in this game while they had even much more control over the game and Sporting mostly used a few counter-attacks in this game to score two goals.

Arsenal taking the first lead of the match and ending up playing a 2-2 draw wasn't impressive, considering their performance in their last few premier league games, especially the Saturday game. I thought they would win sporting but sporting gave them a tough time, Arsenal was lucky, if they lost the game their return leg won't be assured that they'll survive it. Hence, I'd assume they were exhausted from few days match gaps that's given to them, they just finished playing premier league on Saturday and yesterday Europa. Regardless of scores I enjoy watching Arsenal games they spice up football and it's the reason I love watching Arsenal games. Let's look out to the outcome of the second leg.

Arteta made quite a few changes to their line-up whether that was the reason why they could only draw against Sporting and if Sporting's players didn't make any mistakes Arsenal would have lost this first leg, but in the second leg Arsenal had quite the advantage because they were playing at home and possibly will some players who did not play in the first leg will play.

Yes, maybe the changes to their line-up have quite a big impact here. However, I didn't see any significant changes there, the most noticeable was Turner playing instead of Ramsdale as goalkeeper. If Ramsdale is the goalkeeper in their (Arsenal) away game, I'm sure Arsenal will get a clean sheet.

Arsenal's second leg will still have a bigger chance than Sporting to win.

Sure, if we refer to the betting market odds, Arsenal have a very big chance to win in the second leg, but we really don't know what will happen next, I have a bad feeling about them in UEL.

I just have seen the review  of the game Juventus Turin against Freiburg and also the game Union Berlin against Union Saint-Gilloise.
For the Freiburg match there was for sure Juventus better at all and have won , maybe Freiburg can do something better in the next game at home.
About Union Berlin against Union Saint-Gilloise that was ending with a draw it was a nice match from Union Berlin and Saint-Gilloise was lucky with the 3 scored goals.

Sporting got one of the best results it could get.  It should not be forgotten that Arsenal is the leader of the Premier league.  For Sporting, this is a result they can be happy about.  I think Sporting Lisbon will try to draw in the second leg and try to pass the round with penalties.  Even if they can score a few goals with counter attacks, they can pass the round.  The truth of the matter is Arsenal is the team that is closer to lapsing.

What a brilliant Manchester United yesterday night.When I saw the first half ending 1-1 I thought that maybe they were going to end the game in a draw but they completely devastated Betis in the second half and most likely they are already on the next leg of Europa League which is becoming super interesting.It is becoming super interesting as Juventus won,Bayern Leverkussen won,Nice also should qualify and Arsenal the same,they should be able to beat Sporting in the return game.What is funny is that this league is most likely becoming more beautiful to watch than the Champions League.

Manchester United showed their mentality, many thought their mentality would be destroyed by the embarrassing defeat to Liverpool last weekend in the Premier League but in fact they were able to prove it with a big win over Real Betis.
the results of the first leg of the Europa League are nothing surprising, only Arsenal got a draw and even so Arsenal still have a great chance to advance to the next round because the second leg will be played at home to Arsenal.

Juventus won 1-0 I expected them to score more goals.  Manchester United, on the other hand, played perfectly.  Real Betis disappeared in the match.  Liverpool seem to have just gotten over their defeat.  They continue their path in the European league in a devastating way.  Arsenal's draw really surprised me.  I was expecting an absolute win against Sporting Lisbon.

As we predicted earlier, that this fight is most likely to end in a draw. because Arteta was reluctant to play his full starting line-up in this match. even so, this match was a little off the mark than I predicted before. in fact, Sporting put up quite a fierce resistance, so this fight is worthy and interesting for me to watch until the end. also, a draw isn't too bad for the Gunners' young squad. because, the system that Arteta implemented was quite effective. plus, Martinelli's performance was not so bad when he was rotated to become Arsenal's center forward. unfortunately, he missed an opportunity that he could have used to make a goal for his team.

On the other hand, I didn't expect that this match would produce so many goals. Sporting as the home team put up quite a fierce resistance. although, the pattern that M.Amorim applies only relies on counterattacks. but at least, they are able to keep up with the game of the opposing team. apart from all that, I'm sure in the second leg later. The Gunners will overthrow Sporting at their own base.

They'll, infact, they have to do everything within themselves to make sure they qualify, it would be regarded as a shameful and embarrassing exit if they're to leave the competition so quickly. I didn't see the game but I came across a chance Gabriel Martineli had but Sporting Lisbon did defended the ball nicely.

Arsenal also has a good home performance this season, they won't disappoint the fans , even if they're to be knocked off the competition it won't be against Sporting Lisbon.

For Arsenal, this is a good result, two goals scored away, and a draw is an acceptable result, after all, Sporting were participants in the group stage of the Champions League. There will be support from the fans in London, this will add strength to Arsenal, besides, they play better at home, so I think that they will have more chances to win.

They are favourites, but there are still Arsenal, Roma, Union Berlin. Sevilla. I can't guess, but if you look at Man United's last game he should have been able to get to the final. But I believe many surprises can come.
But if you look at the time against Liverpool I was still a little hesitant because the mentality of the Man United players was not strong yet. Ten Hag still has a lot of tasks to make the players tirelessly fighting spirit. Because against Liverpool it didn't show up.

if these two met in the final I would bet on United winning. for some reason, even though they sometimes make mistakes with the game strategy applied by Ten Hag. but they were now much stronger.

The matches that were quite surprising were Arsenal vs Sporting and Union Berlin vs Saint-Gilloise. Both matches had to be satisfied with a draw. Arsenal in the second leg must show their quality to qualify for the next phase because they are playing at home.

talking about the final match, the best one is indeed United vs Juventus. but Roma may replace one of them.

The victory won by Juventus from Freiburg made Allegri smile, the winning bring Juventus to the next round. few weeks ago Allegri said winning the UEL title is the ticket for UCL spot next season. This is a pretty hard target for Allegri, because at UEL they are not the only top team. Sevilla, is a club that has won UEL several times in the last decade, Arsenal, Real Betis, Leverkusen, MU & Roma can still thwart Juventus. So I think Allegri should focus on improving the Serie-A standings rather than targeting to be UEL champions.
