Sporting managed to beat Casa Pia 3-1.
Looking at the result, it looks like it was easy, but it wasn't. Sporting was losing in the first half, and it was only after a few substitutions in the middle of the second half that they managed to turn the score around.

this is a good win for sporting, in the last 3 matches they are unbeaten, sporting have a big chance to shift porto and braga

it was bad luck that casa pia had, they conceded 2 goals in less than 3 minutes and to make matters worse they still had the penalty that resulted in the third goal for sporting, with this result casa pia has two consecutive defeats, this is not good For the morale of the Casa Pia players, I hope Casa Pia can recover in the next game against Rio Ave, which I don't think is a strong team, so Casa Pia has a great chance of winning and getting out of this losing streak

This was a much needed victory for Sporting,they are now three points away from Braga and Porto which I think are real targets for them to get and bypass during the season,they have good players and good attacking style meanwhile both Braga and Porto have showed signs of inconsistency and volatility,the same signs Sporting has shown in the beginning of the league.

It is true that they are going very well tossed to victory this season. That seems like a good bet to me.
But in Portugal, it has happened that teams are 6/7 points ahead in the middle of the season, and end up losing the championship. Therefore, it is still too early to say that they will be champions, but I think they are the best way to do so.

Rio Ave 1 - 0 Portimonense

the red card that the portimonense had at 30 minutes simply opened space for rio ave to score a goal and win the game, rio ave had a large majority of ball possession after the portimonense had the red card, honestly the portimonense had unlucky in this game and with this defeat they are 3 consecutive games without winning any game, the luck of the portimonense is that they are in position 10 which still makes them more comfortable, it would be worse if they were in the relegation zone

This round have interesting results so far. In early game Porto unexpected dropped points aginst Santa Clara, despite scoring very early goal. Game ended 1:1. Well, such things often happens after big win like Porto had in Champions league this week.
Sporting suffered another defeat this season. They lost to Arouca away 1:0. Maybe they're loooking OK in Champions league, but in Primeira they have serious problems.
Meanwhile Benfica continues to show no mercy for their opponents. They won against Chaves 5:0, but they were capable to score much more today. Their lead is getting serious already, 8 points from Porto.
Tomorrow Braga will face Gil Vicente and will try to not let Benfica too far away. Odds for Braga ML looks quite attractive.

There is a lot of expectation for this game, as Braga have come from a series of bad results and they certainly want to change that. With Porto drawn, Braga could return to second place if they beat Gil Vicente.

At the moment, I see more difficulties for Sporting to win than for Braga.
Guimarães is a very strong team and always difficult, and in turn we have Sporting in a very weak phase of the season. They have lost games theoretically much easier than Guimarães. That's why it's the team I have the most doubts about winning, Sporting.
