it's certainly going to be an emotional moment for the two legend who will be facing themselves in this great and all important fixture. Merih Demiral might be only wanna show his pride in being a turkish, but it's very sensitive gesture from him. I thought Merih should remember his position in the turkish national squad. It's not funny to see him get banned for two matches just for his gesture when he celebrated.
I can confirm Merih has not been banned yet. But, UEFA is still investigating his case. And, he must pay a fine if UEFA finds him guilty.

I know how you feel about that. But, it's unnecessary for Merih to use such a gesture. It's very sensitive and could lead to UEFA punishing him. The other party may have different representation of Merih's gesture. Many of them believe his gesture tied to the right-wing nationalist group Grey Wolves.
