An amazing match was presented by Portugal & France, even though it looked boring, we saw that therein lies the team's struggle & hard work so that not a single goal was scored in this match in regular time or ET.

It's a shame that Portugal lost in the penalty round because one of their kickers (Joao Felix) failed to execute his part, congrats to France who are officially going to the semi-finals, it's not an easy road ahead, because they will face Spain who managed to beat the host team .

My guess was correct, this match had minimal goals and no goals until the penalty shootout because both teams' defenses were equally solid. Yes, overall this match was a little boring, but this match was intense in defending the back line so that no goals were scored.

Mentality also take a big part when we are talking about important penalty shootout. By the way, the magic of Diogo Costa is not repeated unfortunately. He could block 3 penalty kick in the previous shootout against Slovenia but today, he did not do the same thing. Bruno Fernandez is one of the most experienced penalty takers in the squad but unfortunately he was substituted already 15minutes before the normal time ended.

The painful part of the second quarterfinal games was that Portugal dominated the games but we were unable to score. To be honest, both Germany and Spain played very well the match was the best in this tournament, I was not expecting Spain to win against Germany because the way Germany played will give you the confidence to believe that Germany would win, Germany controls the game but the problem that Germany has yesterday is from their defenders, Germany defenders are not playing very well yesterday, the first assist given by Yamal was good and I believe if any defender moves to take the ball the Spain player won’t get the ball and even play it, also the second goal, after crossing the ball Antony Rudiger was relaxing thinking that the goalkeeper will come out to catch the ball and Spain player head the ball into the net and score the winning goal for Spain.

the thing is telling too much on him and that's possibly the reason why he hasn't retired because he's still full of himself and is still trying to prove a point at the time he's supposed to have retired. Apart from the love we have for him due to his past performance at real Madrid and Manchester United, looking at his play at Al Nasir and even throughout this Euros, he's been all of himself and less of a team player. Was a bit devastated because they couldn't win in the penalty shootout but it didn't reflect that much because he didn't loose the penalty he took. the most noble thing Ronaldo should have done would have been to retire before this Euros but since he's played and didn't make it more horrible than most people might have expected, it's best he leaves it this way. He played in all major tournaments and won trophies and the heart of fans globally and it's just time to sit back and watch rising stars to over from where he's left it. Football has changed and if you've looked at the players at Spain, most of them are young players that are energetic and are nearly approaching thier early 20ths. Portugal actually had a pretty good performance, only since they lost 0-2 to Georgia, Portugal seems to have a deadlock on their front line, and they haven't found a goal at all in their last 3 matches. As we know, Roberto Martínez always chooses Ronaldo to be the starter in all games but it was strange to see Ronaldo not being able to score even just 1 goal (aside from penalty shootout). He is indeed old and he might no longer be as impressive as they used to be but, I don't think that's what made him fail to get a goal.

In my opinion, what prevented Ronaldo from getting goals was that he received very few passes from his teammates. Even when Ronaldo is in a good position to score a goal, his teammates seem reluctant to make an assist.
