I agree that the one to be blamed is the main coach (Southgate) IMO, because basically England is a team with so many talented young players but he failed to manage the team well.
He is relying too much on Kane/Bellingham/Saka/Foden for the front side, he did not brave enough to gamble with his squad, I mean to make a big change on the lineups.

Southgate was over reliant on the players he considered his regular starters when it was very clear that those players were not delivering in the tournament. I personally don't think England played more relaxed after managing to equalize the score at 1-1 because in my opinion, England still played well but unfortunately Spain had a good moment to score a goal.
