It's not a surprise that "the lady felt cheated" when he offered her only 5,000,000 naira after winning 100M. But let's forget about the guy because being such a cheater and also a greedy person, he's not worth our attention. The girl should be happy with taking $11.5k from him, and leave him as soon as possible.

Well for story 1, I think he would only give the $10k to the girlfriend, he wouldn't give her more, because in the case that he was lost, what would he have given the girlfriend? I don't think the end of this story will be like in fairy tales, unless of course he makes every effort to do so. A man who steals money from his significant other clearly puts gambling ahead of a relationship. It seems to me that if he takes a course of treatment for gambling addiction he will be able to return the girl's trust and make his and her life better. But as we know very often gambling addicts do not realize that they have problems or just do not want to admit it in order not to seem weak in the eyes of others.

Well for story 1, I think he would only give the $10k to the girlfriend, he wouldn't give her more, because in the case that he was lost, what would he have given the girlfriend? from a legal point of view, that person had committed a fatal mistake by taking something that did not belong to him.
by only returning $10k of the stolen money, the man is completely not responsible for his actions. he ignores something fatal, besides stealing, his relationship with his lover is another gamble.

On the other hand, as you said. in this story, we don't have much more accurate information to judge. which makes me curious, what is the motivation of the boss to ask for half of the money won by his apprentice. apart from these two stories, we are shown with examples the story of how this dispute began, and how greed pervades people who don't actually have full rights to their claims.

I actually hope their relationship is not continued and the girl can find a better man than her boyfriend because it can happen again in the future. The man seems to have a problem with gambling or maybe he is addicted to gambling because he stole his girl's money just to gamble. After this incident, I feel that the girl will find it difficult to trust the guy again, especially since the guy doesn't share his winnings fairly with the girl. It should be, but it's different because the girl didn't file a police report about her boyfriend stealing her money and maybe she didn't because seeing the profit she would get from what the guy won, people can change a lot when it comes to money moreover if the value is fantastic or at least it can change life.

If the girl really didn't report the guy to the police, he should be grateful because he didn't have to be involved in the theft case and as a form of gratitude, the guy could give the winning money to the girl. Although not entirely, it can make the girl happy to receive the winning money. But hopefully, the girl and guy's relationship will end because of his dishonesty in stealing her money. And hopefully, the guy also realizes that what he did was wrong so if he still intends to continue his relationship with the girl, he must be able to change for the better.

What kills women faster than money on earth doesn't exist, she even had the courage to threaten to leave the man if he refuse to give her 40M, had it been that game didn't go as predicted, the lady would have wanted to kill the guy for using her money to play the game. The lady could sue him if she want but I'm confident that she would lose the case in a single court visit because there was no agreement on an amount and 5M is a good amount to appreciate her for her kind gesture for allowing him to use the money for 2 days, at least he admitted he took the money.

The Boss has no right over the boy's money but an amount could be given as an appreciation, I can see some comments that are bitter, they want to suck and reap the boy for using money that he could have lied of been lost and the highest the boss would do is, he may demand for his money. We should learn to appreciate when people give from something we aren't entitled to because here, it wasn't the boss that played that game.

After reading the story, the guy should've let his girlfriend go because demanding 40 Million is not reasonable enough to threat him that she will leave him if she won't get what she demanded and seriously that will be just a start because she will use the guy's love to take advantage. Can't really comment because the story is incomplete. I mean, what training? The apprentice's bet is not connected to his boss, why would he agree to split the money in half? And those people who sided with their boss, do their voice matter? Clearly not.

Yes, no doubt the lady has a right to ask for her share of the money, but not to the extent of requesting for a whopping $40million, because that's actually a huge sum of money even though the money used was hers. But you never can tell, because for her to have requested such an amount of money, there must be a reason behind it not mentioned in that story (i.e either they broke up or had serious Issues before the game was finally confirmed to be winning). Because money is one thing never to underestimate in this life, as when some people have money, then they tend to show their true colour. But in this case, I will still blame the guy for returning just only $10,000 after using it to win $100million, because that is a definition of what I will call "greed"  (I.e a greedy person).
