Weird story though
1. If the man really loves his partner why should he hesitate to share the money, but it would be better if the money was directly used to buy investment goods instead of sharing it which would eventually disappear.

2. The apprentice had no obligation to share it with his boss.

I called the story a mere story, because without the boy telling her girlfriend that he has won such amount of money he would have not known that such amount of money is involved, and if actually the money was lost, it very clear that the boy will refunds the money as per say. The aspect of boss side, i will say why the apprentice will share the money equal to its boss it might be as results of ignorant, because the Boss don't have anything to do with the money, the bet money is strictly meant for the apprentice without anyone.

Yes, about the apprentice, the boss has nothing to do with the money. It is ignorance and if he gave the boss, he is foolish. He should not give the boss anything.

About the first one that you talked about, the girl friend can know her money lost without her boyfriend told her and that only his boyfriend has access to steal the money. We do not know what actually happened though as the whole story is not included and may not even be known or become known to the  public.

First of all there is luck matters. In first case he stolen the girl friends money and gambled. Think that if he lost. What he would do? So I think girlfriend is right. He should give 40M to her. Or if he didn't want to give so he should marry her and say its all yours.

In the second case I think the boss is greedy person. He has an eye on her money so he is asking for money. So I think he shouldn't give money to him.

With these stories we can see how money really changes the perspective of a person in the story one even though it is your girlfriend, of course, there's a chance that you give her or not because at the end it is your decision your not even his husband yet but if you really love both each other I guess this earning is really good for starting with your life, In the story two if the employee uses the company money there's a chance he will got nothing but the offer of the boss is a good thing its both win-win situation for them. But of course make sure the transaction is between only to you sometimes people give their opinions make the decision change immediately because of the influence.

1. If his girlfriend is "demanding" money then she is not interested in the relationship but the money. This shows she is money minded.
The guy should just give the 10k back and not anything more than that. With the amount he won he could easily get another one 
But then they will also be behind him just for money sake. He and his girlfriend should come to a mutual agreement in this case.

It's the right amount to give to your girlfriend because you steal from her, if she pursues the case you will have to spend more but you can negotiate I'm sure she'll understand, because you're gonna use the money for your business, tell her it's for your both future, in the second case I will abandon my training, he has no right to pressure me to give half of my rewards, he can request but not pressure me.

Here the first person to steal 10K and win 100 million should have given his girlfriend an additional amount. On the one hand, his crime of theft would be forgivable and they would maintain a good relationship with her. And the question that comes up in the second story, I think it's the boss being wronged by the apprentice. He is in no way entitled to take this money. Maybe boss cannot control his greed and is forcing him to pay. But according to me he is not belongs to get the payment.

If I were the girlfriend of this gambler, I would squeeze as much money out of him as possible and end the relationship. What is the point of having any business with a person who steals a significant amount (10k is a serious amount of money in any country) in order to place a bet. He has obvious problems with gambling addiction and I think that the money he won he will lose over time.

I don't know if these examples are true stories or not. But I have an answer to these examples.

I think the person who took his girlfriend's money without permission should go to jail. Next, he must return the amount he stole from his girlfriend. The penalty for stealing money cannot be to pay more money. The penalty for stealing money is determined by law. We are talking about a crime that must be punished according to the laws of the country.

The apprentice took a risk with his own money. If the apprentice lost money on the bet, I don't know if his boss would have paid him off. I don't think he would do such a thing. There's no need for him to do such a thing anyway. In the gambling world, everyone competes for their own luck. The boss has clearly extorted his apprentice's money here. I think this should be a clear crime too.

In this setup alone, you can see that there's only a little sense of trust and respect between them because her boyfriend didn't bother to tell her he'll borrow money and use it for gambling. It's the girl's money, and as a sign of respect to your partner, you should ask permission first before making any move about what's not yours to spend. This is why I believe it's fair and just to meet halfway with her girlfriend. Settle an agreement that's not too big and burdensome on your part if you recognize her as your support system. Afterall, you won't be able to win if you don't have the money to bet in the first place. I just find it somehow greedy that the girlfriend demanded a specific amount which is 40% of his winning because it should be up to the guy to give her a token of appreciation. I guess they just lack communication in money matters. Which is perhaps the reason why the boyfriend stole instead of letting her know.

In the second scenario, I wouldn't really give up the half of my winning to my boss especially if the money I used to bet came from my own pocket. Being a boss demanding half of the prize you didn't win, didn't give a share to the bet made, and didn't really do the greater job to make the winning happen just displays pure greediness. If you guided your apprentice to make a bet and you did it wholeheartedly, then you shouldn't expect anything in return. If your apprentice happens to win, it should be up to him whether to give you a portion of his winnings or not. It is unfair to give someone half of your winning prize especially if they didn't contribute that much. You deserve to enjoy your prize. Other people's feelings is not your responsibility.

Common, this is too risky and bad enough of him, he stole a money that does not belong to him, he must have been very slerk in allowing the girlfriend know as well, so this kind of person is just oppotuned to make fortune out if he stupidity he created to gamble, but it is very unfare to return back the same amount he stole from the girlfriend, that's even more worst than the stealing he made at first place.

In this case the boss is a bad person and the people surrounded were also negative thinking minds, can they also do the same if applicable to them? I think there's conspiracy somewhere, the boss might have lias with others to get the half from the apprentice and give them some cuts as well, so they wouldn't want to go against the bad opinion and also i want to believe that the apprentice is also a young and inexperience boy if not, no where on earth you dare tries that shit with an experience gambler except for a novice.

What this boyfriend did is wrong since the beginning. He gambled with stolen money from his girlfriend, who is someone who was supposed to have him as one of the most trustful people in her life, therefore he betrayed her by his actions. A decent fine for this guy was to give the whole prize to his girlfriend.

On his girlfriend, because she steals from her when she can just ask her to lend him some money its right to give her a big portion not just give back the money if not for the money she stole, he would have not won that amount, and for the second case since it's his money he has the right to decide what to do with the money, he should look for another trainer than giving in to what his boss can ask him to do, you don't like this kind of boss that decides for you when it comes to money.

Of course, if a leader is corrupt himself, how can he teach his subordinates? And what is there to learn from that kind of leader? Qualified leadership plays a major role in making a competent leader. One thing to say here is that whoever is the keeper is also taking the position of the eater. Such people have nothing to learn. I think that apprentice should leave that place soon.

IMO, it's just right for the girlfriend to demand 40 million to his boyfriend. The money that used is originally from her and in fact was stolen. He can charge his boyfriend for stealing her money but since the bet won (fortunately), the boyfriend must share the money because it didn't came from his own pocket.

Clearly the boss is wrong here. He take advantage the apprentice for his own good. If i'm the apprentice I will not share the money because it's really unfair. Only an out-of-court settlement could make her benefit from the money won, she should be wise. No court will penalize the guy for winning thereby giving her all the money won. The court would rather tell him to return the initial money back to her if she could prove her case either in loss or gain.

Story 2 :

This is a bit tricky, especially if the owner of the work wants to advance the case under stringent terms and conditions signed by the apprentice. However, if it is to lose the apprenticeship alone, this is little or no damage, and hope the money is much. Even if the money is not much, the apprentice could look for another boss.

I'll give 10 percent of it without any regrets. But 40% is just too much. We are not even married yet. What if it was a loss? All I will hear is her screams about how stupid I am and I am sure she will break our relationship.
Another solution is to marry her so we could share the fortune but I doubt that will happen since she is already greedy to take almost half of the money.
That already tells how she would just spend the money on unnecessary things.

I don't know much about the rules of being an apprentice but I read one comment about how the master will save the apprentice's ass if ever the bet went south and the other perks of having one. So I guess 50-50 is just fair, unlike the stolen funds.
I think both depend on the situations they are in.

I agree about the guy's diagnosis - everything is pretty obvious and a fool with money loses it very quickly. But the girl's actions are quite reasonable - stealing 10k dollars is a criminal offense and having such leverage on the guy is quite reasonable to get as much money from him as possible. In addition, he should not resist much, since "they came easily, they left easily" - he still got into a fairy tale and became a millionaire, then the fact that he will have a little less millions is not very important.

When you arent still have the legality or speaking about conjugal or simply she's still your girlfriend then i dont really see the reason on why she would really be demanding that huge
pie cut on the said winnings.Although its understandable that if he didnt able to stole that 10k then he wont really be making huge money or hit the winning.
So this would really be depending on that story #1 dude if he would really be having those cut-ups but for situation #2 then its a total dumb for
his boss to make out some claims and mandated about having some share on his employee's win.
