Never tell anyone ~XD why do they need to tell anyone win a lot money from gambling. why not just keep silence? example like girlfriend case, he can said borrow money for some case because the take the money without telling him.

That's would be a different scenario, If he said for gambling at the time he take the money.

But sometimes it cant really be avoided for you to be transparent and honest on your loved ones but winning a lots of money then i would definitely do the same.
Never ever tell that you had won soo much money and just simply give back that 10k of your GF then be silent that you had that much money.
Unless if its been known because its been broadcasted or been told by other people but as long they couldnt able to prove it out then dont
accept nor tell the truth that you had won that big.

Human beings are naturally greedy but there are people who are really good on surpressing those greed and would stick out into their principle.If you do love someone then you wont really be letting that money will
be destroying  your relationship of your loved ones but be prepared that having lots of money could really affect on how you do both live since you do have the money you can spend up.
If you dont able to steal up your gfs money then you cant really have that winning on the first place.So its really just a mutual benefit.
Second, there's no such law or even just thinking the ethical way on doing so on splitting out winnings on your boss.He might be the ones giving out the job but doesnt mean
that everything you are owning will really be split up.Its just that bullshit kind of superiority.

This is why many still value anonymity because they don’t want to be on this situation and they want to be more secure from time to time.
Personally, I made a mistake of getting the money without a permission to my girlfriend and as a respect, I will share some profit to her to at least thank her for that money and no reason to breakup with her. Second, your boss might pressure you with that money but you should stand still and make a decision for your own, he might be the one teaching you about gambling but still, you make that money out of your luck and that’s already your own decision either to give or not.

On my case, if his girl friend demands for it, give less; if she did not give more than what he borrowed. Asking for more has a different meaning which could be related to greed. When it comes to his boss, why would he be required to split it? Did that boss contribute for his capital that he used to gamble? If no help was made, I guess his boss is not entitled for that half, much more if he's just using his position.

We are talking about gambling here. There are tendencies of losing, and if that happened rather than winnings, will these people be the same? Possibility is that, they might not.

In the first story she have got the right to ask for 40m, but it is upto the boyfriend whether to share the winning amount with her or not. He have used her money, and if he hadn't won she could've demanded for the 10k. So, the decision making is with the boyfriend.

In the second story the Boss have no rights to request the apprentice to share it 50-50. In that situation I'll just ignore and move away. There is no rule, being an apprentice one should be under the control of the boss in his all activities.

That man in story 1 should at least give something more after paying the 10k he stole from his gf as a common courtesy to pay the hassle for using and stealing the money that ain't from him. No matter what the issue with the girl he should have added some bonus or something even if we don't know the whole story.

This story seems like there's an abuse of position/power and if I were the apprentice I would leave the boss after winning that much of a money. But we don't really know what was the full story since it would depend my decision whether I'll give something to the boss but not what he asked, unless if I have a debt that needed to pay I would gladly pay all of it.

I don't think anybody should force the man to give his girlfriend 40 million dollars, the man should decide any amount he wants to give her, let's just be honest here, am sure if the man lose the 10k in gambling, the girlfriend won't really take it likely with him, she will definitely request for her 10k back which am sure she will force the man to pay back. So since the man won 100 million dollars then he can decide to return just 10k to her back, they didn't sign any agreement that if the boyfriend wins their is certain percentage he will give her and if the guy lose the 10k he won't return all the 10k their is certain amount he will return, so any amount the man gives his girlfriend then he is right.

Am sure the apprentice will have been gambling for long term which he will definitely have been losing, did his boss share the amount he lose with him? They shouldn't force the boy to share the money with his boss equally, the only thing I think the boss should do is to seek for assistance then the boy can give him any amount he wish to give but they shouldn't make it mandatory for the guy to share the money 50-50. When the boy was struggling nobody knows, after winning that's when the boss want to share the money with him.

The boy might decide to give his girlfriend, maybe the girl have struggled with the boy nobody knows, so I think the way he will spend the money should be left to him, Nobody should control him.
If am the boy I won't split the money I will rather abandon the training, I can learn the work from other people, I won't split the money, anything that makes me split the money then that's cheating, nobody should pressurize the boy to split the money with his boss.

1. Should be none, they need to marry to enjoy that fruit of a success rather than demanding it. I get the demand for the woman and the man was wrong either considering it's not his money in the first place maybe a 50-50 is good right here.

2. There will be different factors in this story like grave coercion or something like that is at play in here, that's my guess. I would be happy to abandon that training and live the life with those winnings.

But with human beings greediness then you cant really be that surprised that there would be sudden changes on behavior. Doesnt matter if you do love a person where it could really be change on point

if you do love that person, you won't only return 10k but give more. remember, you stole the money just to bet. that's not really fair if you are in a relationship. so better give her what she deserved.
but for the second one, if the boss insists 50-50, ok give it to him. but don't continue working with him. you can already see his attitude when it comes to money matters. do you think he will be a good boss to you?

Lol, this story is like choosing his babe (that is the term that the article used) over money. So it's going to be difficult not just for the man but for anyone who have been in this position before. I guess for me, I will give the money to the girl or then marry here.

I'm not sure about this story though, why would he oblige to share half of the money to his boss?

Just quit the job and get your money simply as that. It will be stupid idea to give it to the demand of 50/50, unless he is being threatened by his boss to be murdered or killed (we don't know that extend of what people will do for money).

^ For the first question, this is how you will measure if your girlfriend truly loves you, because if she demands that big amount instead of waiting how much amount you will replace? It seems there is no relationship between both them if the girl demands that big amount instead the amount that you stole from here. On my side, I will split the money on a 50/50 and take her on the date, just a money dude, if she is worth it to fight against the money, then go for it.
For the second question, it depends on the situation, if there is another place to apprentice,  I will refuse my boss and find another place to apprentice. It was my money, he was just only your boss and nothing else but there are no options, I rather do what he said and split the money until you will finish your apprentice which is very important for your future job and you will earn more than what you have won today.

Their relationship is a pure sh*t and they shouldn't be lived together.

First of all, there should be no stealing. For let's say the man just does it for a "good" purpose then why does he only give his girlfriend 10,000 instead of sharing the money won together "if they really loved each other"?

Second, why there's a thing that the girlfriend is demanding 40 Million dollars? I don't see a valid reason that it will end up like that again, "if they really loved each other?"

The story is not complete. I'm curious about why it went up on the concern that the boss should also take part in the pie.

If the money was completely owned by the apprentice, he has full control of it and should not be obliged to give some to his boss.

Some Peeps are just very rude and greedy in their actions. If he took some money from his girlfriend and placed a bet, then a bigger amount was realized, why didn't he simply cut a reasonable share to her? Most especially if the girl came to realise that the money was missing wherever she kept it and you told her everything.... it'll be fine if she didn't even have an idea but, will still be unfair. That'll make her know how much the guy loves her. I'm not saying that it should rather be a 50-50 stuff because, if the guy had Lost those funds to a wrong bet, the girl wouldn't have a consideration.

About the apprentice and the boss -- except the boy took his money to do whatever fetched out the cash, I don't think he has any forceful share. It should be something the boy decides wether or not to give.

That's not making sense. The boss shouldn't have any part of the winnings but for gratitude, the apprentice can give some money to his boss. I really don't like the word used here as an apprentice.

It's like the boss owned that guy as a whole.

They're not tied yet, a simple treat would do the thing and it depends on the attitude of the woman. I'd personally give her some meals out with an extravagant restaurant and that would do her share.

As for the apprentice, how come the boss wants to split the money if it's the apprentice's money that has been bet and it's his personal choice. If the boss insists, I'll leave him as the amount is quite big enough and I'll just find another job to work for without asking for the split of my own money.

Reasonable amount for what? Is there any amount that we can consider reasonable? They are in a relationship right, they are supposed to share those winnings as they both play a big role to get that. They need to talk seriously and that's only the solution.

I don't get why the apprentice should be pressured. It's like the apprentice owes everything to the boss. I read the Twitter link but we need more information about it. Never it will lead up that the boss should also be given the money without a good reason.

1. My first question to the Girlfriend is will she had splitted the money had the guy lost? Although it was stingy act by the guy to gave her only 10k even its now his right to add more to the money or not since he took the risk alone. If it was me like 10 million will be going to her because I know she will still come for mine even if I gave her more so I will just use the rest I have on my to give to buy stuffs for her.

But he did not took a risk at all since it was not his money but the money belonged to his girlfriend, the girlfriend was the one taking the risk alone and she did not even knew that was the case, in my opinion there is a case to be argued that all the money belongs to her and not the boyfriend, it would be different if they had come to an agreement to make the bet and in that case I think a 50/50 split will be more fair, but since that is not the case everything should belong to the girlfriend.

2. Its actually a self centered attitude by the boss, he played no role in the bets nor was the apprenticeship any way related to winning that bet so any money giving to the boss by the apprentice was just a gift and nothing more attach to it. Personally I will be gifting the boss 3 million of that amount

In the second case things are clearer as the money belonged to the apprentice, if that was me I would probably not have given the boss a single cent out of my money.
