I feel like the culture is the reason why there are so many differences. In Germany the culture is that you work hard, and I mean like really really hard, and then when the work is over you can do whatever, whereas in Brazil you work by having fun, the work should become something fun because you spend is much time at work, so it's wiser to make it fun.

I can't say which one works, we have seen Germany beat Brazil 7-1 of course, but we have seen Brazil win the world cup and have a lot of famous players all around Europe as well. I think whatever works for you will work for you and may not work for someone else. What I mean is Germans may not like work becoming "entertainment" because they may feel that is not the purpose, or Brazilians may hate it become dull because they do want to have fun too.

If everything goes like this for Brazil they won't have too much chance to get back in their place and become the first teams in the world again because while all other European teams are in the situation to attract more investment for their league, Brazil is not getting progress at all and they are losing the race to the other teams time after time,

I'm yet to understand the cry from European sports media about the lucrative deals that's been coming from Saudi Arabian clubs since the start of the year. European clubs has been the ones that's been hugely influencing the choice of where footballer go next with their juicy offers over the years.
So I think they should allow them buy as many players as they can afford without trying to make it feel like they're robbing Europe of their good players

On the other hand, in Saudi Arabia, and other similar places, the quality of the current players is nowhere near the European leagues. It's only money, so that's why it doesn't make sense, at the moment at least. Maybe in 10 years the Saudi League will become the most prestigious one. Who knows.

If you are talking about the European leagues, I would say that the quality is going down. But for comparison, they still maintain quite good standards compared to those leagues in other continents and confederations. Still, the Saudi Professional League is rapidly catching up and very soon the quality differentials are going to go away. BTW, I have a feeling that in Europe the clubs tried to get bigger than the game itself. They were harassing the players, and trying to dictate them. The recent spat between Messi and PSG is a prime example.

Matches from teams that are not considered attractive will only be watched by spectators from the country of origin of the team. So with the growing development of football in the USA, it will not make it difficult for foreign spectators to get tickets unless the hosts sell them at low prices because many will feel it is important to watch because they want to get entertainment from the match.

I think in the USA football was never the most popular sport and other sports like basketball got more priority than football. But since in the USA we are going to have them hosting the 2026 World Cup, I think that's normal to see more interest from people in the country to watch the games than before.
Whenever a country is hosting the World Cup we have their people getting interested to watch the games more than before.

I think under FIFA rules, there are provisions on how tickets to world cup matches can be sold among fans hence the needless of external fans to panick about who buys more if the tickets when the World Cup is finally hosted in the Canadia/Mexico/United States.
Initially, we were meant to believe that football isn't a popular sports in the United States instead they prefer basketball but from the number of fans that's been seen around the stadium since Lionel Messi joined the MLS,  I think that impression wasn't correct. Watching the FIFA World Cup in US in 2024 will be a good experience for fans across the world

FIFA has opened a disciplinary proceedings against Luis Rubiales today being Thursday, after the Spanish Football Federation president, kissed Spain star, Jenni Hermoso on the lips following the Women’s World Cup final last weekend.

“The FIFA disciplinary committee informed Luis Rubiales, president of the Spanish Football Association, today that it is opening disciplinary proceedings against him based on the events that occurred during the finals,” world football’s governing body said in a statement.

FIFA said the incident “may constitute violations of article 13 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the FIFA disciplinary code”.

This same issue was discussed here some few pages back, most of us saw it as nothing though, but I think I am personally glad that fifa is taking up the matter now, atleast, this will teach the man a lesson and deter others from following in the same footprint.

If they will keep up on what they can offer which is really going to last long because they are a rich country, there's no wonder that there will be some new additional to their league soon as that can indeed enticed successful players but aside from that, they also need to culture one of their own as that will be their pride instead of always having foreign players to come and play for them.

Going to a much bigger picture, I have no doubts that Saudi League will be a prestigious one in the next decade because they are already doing a good job these days and with money, they can always have what they want even if they will be rejected in some days.

It's basically a type of people that have fun just like how others do it with going to movies, or going to theater, or going to opera, or whatever. They all get together, and they all watch the game and they all end up friending each other.

When you go watch a game, you end up with friends basically, even if they were not your friends before the game, you become friends after the game and then for the next game you chat on whatsapp to meetup beforehand to grab a couple of drinks, then go to the game. That's how it starts and that's an important thing. This is a hobby thing, it might be making millions and millions for the players, but those millions usually come from viewers, and sponsors who want to reach to those viewers.

But in South America and Europe, basically there is no rival to football. Any other sport is a low second.

In those continents, when there's an important football match, the whole country stops. Everyone is either at the stadium, or watching it on TV at home or at a pub.

And when their home country scores, you can hear the roar from everywhere.

That experience is not seen anywhere else in the world other than South America and Europe.

Certainly now scouts are much more attentive to good players, not only from Brazil but from all over Latin America, because the Arab Emirates are "stealing" European players with offers they can't refuse and so it is necessary to try to fill the gap occupied by these players.
