I'm really heartbroken with our loss vs Australia this morning.    We weren't this bad man... What happened to us? Where is the same team that qualified for Euro 2024 quarter finals?

We had a much stronger squad technically. But football isn't played on paper. We were too bad and I have big worries about our next fixtures with this crap game.

I was also a little surprised by the result of that match. After all, Turkey was actually my favorite to win that game. but yeah, it seems Australia is definitely not a team to be underestimated. Besides, the FIFA rankings for these two teams are almost the same. Turkey is ranked 23rd, while Australia is ranked 27th. well, a four-rank difference does show that the gap in strength isn’t that big. But to be honest, Turkey didn’t seem to play as well as they usually do.

I had a slight doubt about Germany after 1-1. But they are now meeting the expectations in this easy game. Still nearly half an hour to play. More goals might be on the way.

As you might have expected, Germany managed to score more goals. The match even ended with a very lopsided score. And this is the first lopsided score of this World Cup. Germany’s victory wasn’t really surprising, but scoring seven goals truly proves that they are better prepared this time around than in the previous World Cup.

Germany has scored a total of 5 goals in 70 minutes, the whole match is full of their attack, they have made a total of 23 shots, which is a very big amount of attack, there are still 20-25 minutes left in the match, they will still be on the lookout for goals, they will try to score more goals, their performance is really crazy, they only think about scoring goals, and no matter which team comes against them, they destroy them very badly, I think Germany will score more goals. 

Germany is just far too superior to their opponent and so I too was not expecting anything less from them, I just knew they were going  to defeat this people in a flawless Victory right from when I saw the fixture, I knew they were not even going to have any mercy on their opponent.  So far in the competition I want to believe they are the team with the highest number of goals in a single match so far. I would live to see the make it to the semi-final if possible.

You are right that Germany easily crushed their opponents, in fact, Germany managed to defeat Curacao 7-1 in their first match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Most of the German team's players scored goals against this team today, as a result of which we saw them easily win this match by a huge margin and top Group E of this World Cup but it seems Curacao didn't get off to a great start in their first World Cup game in their history. To be honest, the result of this match reminded me of the 2014 Brazil vs Germany match. Germany won against Brazil by a huge margin of 7-1. The result of the match surprised us all.

Germany ended the first half with 3-1 lead and I believe that's enough for them to win their opponents who just came to the world cup for the first time. It was a beautiful header from Schlotterbeck to give his nation the second goal and Havertz penalty has lessen the pressure on the German side.

Actually, from what I have seen going on in social media, people are actually recalling the historical humiliation Germany made our of Brazil back in 2014, though it would not be a fair comparison, as Curaçao is not at the same level of Brazil when comes to football and number of accumulated worldcups.
Though, it is true this signals a very positive beginning for Germany in this world cup and it set the rest of the teams in alert, as Germany will have their morale increased and they will be obviously seeking to keep the momentum of this victory for the next matches.

I do feel Japan's type of play isn't possession type of game, unless they are playing a low Cadre of team but against a team like Netherlands, surely it is expected that that Netherlands will dominate the ball possession wise. But the stats doesn't tell you that Japan was playing very good at the beginning part of the game and there ball carrying ability is just phenomenal. It is known to many people before the match started that it was not going to be an easy match for Brazil. In fact, many people picked Morocco as the favorite team to win the match because they knew that Brazil was not as strong as before, and Morocco is considered a strong team based on the results they have achieved, even compared to Brazil's recent performances.So, as for me, I was not surprised when I saw that the match later ended in a draw because that was what I was expecting from the match. It is not that Brazil did not have quality players, but I don't know what is going wrong in Brazil that their form has seriously dropped.

Before, Brazil had always been among the favorite teams to win the World Cup, but not in this current World Cup. What I am feeling is that Brazil lacks teamwork, and whenever there is no teamwork, a team will find it hard to achieve its aim.Just as you can see, Ancelotti needs to seriously do something if they really want to go far in this World Cup

I began to expect the goals from Germany to reach 10 after Germany scored their 5th goal, this isn't me trolling but just my expectations due to the German team's performance, Curacao where so lucky to score the only goal they had. After they equalized, i was hoping for a suprise from Curacao although they suprised me by conceding 6 more goals afterwards.
 Maybe after this World Cup, that's if they'll even manage to qualify for the next, they'll have to organize their team by developing players in the country or send some out to get experience in club teams around Europe and beyond cause this current team is not ready to represent the country in International level.

Am not really surprised with the result of the match, i knew Germany are just going to score so many goals in the match, Curaçao is a team which I know they not even going far in the World Cup, I don’t know if their is any country which they going to be able to win any match in their group. In their first match of the competition, they conceded 7 goals, and they managed to score just a goal.

I can’t just imagine the numbers of goals Curaçao will concede in the group stage of the competition, because I don’t even think they will be able to win even a single match. Japan has the highest goal attempt so far, in this game. I think, the game is balanced and both teams are somehow, equal in strength. On the other hand, Netherland are playing pretty good and almost break the deadlock but Suzuki denied them that chance. The first half is over and none of these teams were able to find the back of the net to open the scoreline.

The cup is hosted in Mexico also where the main language is Spanish and officials from FIFA were asking players to keep answering in English which is so absurd to consider.

Now they even apologized after intense backlash even from teams and said they'll be featuring Spanish translators. How didn't they think of this before is so beyond me.

Indeed Curacao was too weak against Germany in today's match, and considering how poorly they performed in the International Friendly Games which just ended, I knew they were no match to the almighty Germany, and I was expecting nothing less that 3 goals in this game. But little did I know Germany was going to humiliate them this far by scoring a whooping 7 goals, while Curacao was able to score a single goal. And with the performance made tonight, I very sure that Curacao will also lose their next match between Ecuador too.

However, it's already half between the match against Netherland vs Japan, and both team still playing goalless draw while Netherland seems to have having the most ball possessions and shots on target. So let's wait and see what it's outcome will be, because to me, this match seems like a draw.
