I think many of we treating this third place playoff match as just normal fixture and are underestimating its potential. To be honest both team were desperate to reach the final but failed. So no player from England or France wants to see their last match of this tournament ended in defeat when they step onto the pitch. Still a lot of prize are up for grab like- National pride, FIFA ranking point, prize money, even individual recognition like Golden Boot. Mbappe is still in the running for Golden Boot competition. While England have huge chance to achieve their best World Cup result since 1966. So there is still a lot to fight for.

I think it will be interesting to see Mbappe play with the desire to win the Golden Boot and become the first player to achieve such a feat twice, and even more difficult in consecutive World Cups. I also believe he's the first to score eight or more goals in two World Cups. I personally do not have enough interest or money to pay much attention to this incoming match, when compared to the final match between Argentina and Spain.

Aside from Kane starting, which I am very certain he is going to have minutes. Tuchel started a proper team. Ivan Toney is a striker. Eze is a creative midfielder.

In this case, I'm rooting for France because if the French attack can't be contained by England, it will certainly be difficult for England to win. Especially considering France's defense, which hasn't been particularly bad in this competition, even though England also has a good attack. However, I'm more confident in France for the bronze medal match, although I'm quite certain the match will be quite close, considering both are strong teams in this World Cup.

I agree with you that head coach Tuchel is taking another gamble with England. And I don't know if it will actually work out, after scoring a goal against Argentina in the semi-final, he had a defensive game plan that didn't work out and ended up losing.

I don't know if the same thing will happen in the next match, just to give some players a chance, by keeping players like Kane and Bellingham on the England team.  I don't really know who will bring players like Kane and Bellingham on as substitutes. There are a few things that England might consider here because of what happened in the line-up and fatigue from their previous matches such as wanting to try to hold back a little or indeed not intending to play in 1x2 with the hope that France did not really press from the start.

It's just that this match I think does not become too interesting if from the very beginning both teams do not play at their full strength.
Tuchel seems to want to give more time to some players who in this World Cup were on the bench especially seeing their current striker Tonney this is a good opportunity for him to make a difference for the England national team.

Mbappe will score as many goals as he wants, but I don’t think England not fielding their main team means them not wanting to win the third place. Since they could not make it to the finals, it doesn’t mean settling for a third position is a bad idea, not all teams gets to even this stage before they get eliminated from the competition. They have done well and any team playing today deserves all the accolades for a job welldone.
