Gentlemen, what's going on? England is dominating France, and the French players aren't even bothering to defend. Right now, France is playing as if they've already received two red cards. It's never been this easy for England. It's as if they're facing an ordinary team, not the finalists of the last World Cup. France will face a lot of criticism after this match. I hope the final is just as enjoyable after this game.

Its indeed a surprising and unbelievable performance for England today as know one believed they could be this dangerous and determined to destroy France in a humiliating manner.  
From the beginning of the ongoing world cup tournament i have never seen such curiosity and consistency in any team which is why I don't think France could reply even with a goal. Although this untouchable spirit in England today is of no use because they are already out of the competition, when all expected them to do so they never did it. I don’t know if the blame should be channelled to the coach because there are some mistakes that was not supposed to be made from unset.

I said it before now. Spain ravishly opened the eyes to see the weak point of the France team. Now every team wants to have a test of that poor midfield play from France.

What an incredible performance from England, France doesn’t look like a team that’s ready for this match against England, they are totally confused and disorganized. I think the France team really needs to wake up from this nightmare and save themselves of this embarrassment at least by putting on a good show when the second half resume. The French coach really have to make some changes and bring on his best players that are on the bench especially the likes of dembele. I think they are really missing something In the midfield also. England is really having a good game and they are taking their chances.

What a big disgrace to France tonight! Just first half they are losing by four goals to nothing. Apart from the goals, England have completely overshadowed them in the game. This is not looking nice for France given the expectations people had on them. They are playing tonight game like people suffering absence mindedness. I agree, the France players looked like they had no motivation to play, and just let England score four goals in the first half. This match is only for third place, but they should still try their best to win.

Ffrance is facing the worst defeat they have ever gotten in worldcup. Why the hell is making all France player out come out to attack. They can't even hold their midfield very well, even their defense is zero race to power zero, this isn't France at all, it is now like everyone is fatigued.

France players are tired already but they have to find a solution in the second half otherwise they will concede up to 7 goals cause Thomas Tuchel will be bringing in more attackers to ensure they leash them more and force them to make more mistakes as you already know the goal keeper is tired after conceding 4 goals.

I can see the good works of Rice and Saka but it's unfortunate that they started showing off when it's already late I wonder they they couldn't do all this against Argentina 😂

Certainly not the type of farewell the French coach would have hoped for, I think that the French players are still bitter about losing to Spain in the semifinals although that isn't enough excuse to play this bad and create a negative record for themselves.
This is the first time in a world cup match that France would be losing by four goals and all of the goals was scored in the first half which is even more embarrassing.

What a disastrous half and game it is for for France, I don't think any of us expected this kind of result in the first half. England seems to be more focused in this game than they were in the semis. If only they played up to half of what they are playing today, maybe the outcome of semis may be different. England has torn France apart and from the look of things this will be the last game of Descamps as France national team coach since we already know his stepping down after the world cup. How can you end such historic career this way. At least if you're losing it should be with a respectable scoreline.

France is playing terrible and its impossible that they are so bad. On the other hand England is playing crazy good and i think its because its open football and not like against Argentina where there is a lot of fouls. I still think that we can see lots of goals in this match especially i think that France will score at least two in second half. The spirit of the French may already be lost in this tournament, performing poorly in the first round, as if not wanting a victory. I thought that France would not put up much resistance or that France would not be able to score at all, but thanks to Mbappe, he scored the first goal for France, your break, but even then I don't think France will win this match. Because England is still leading by three goals.

This question is actually worthy of asking because the match doesn’t look like a serious match to me, it looks like France has given up since they lost to Spain in the Semifinals, they don’t show any sign of seriousness in the game because they have conceded enough goals they haven’t in their last three games and this is sad because so many people expected France to defeat England in this match.

I can see that the coach have decided to make some adjustment in the team, they have scored two goals now in the second half, they are two goals down and have less than 40 minutes in the game, I think we still have drama to watch because this England side is looking like the one Argentina defeated after taking the lead; but I think the coach will not make such mistake tonight because even the third position is important in this tournament.
