I absolutely amazed with the way spain defending their post, but i also feel Argentina has creativity to score. So money line is a bit confusing for me, but i think both of clubs will score in this game.

It was like a friendly match even though it was the third place match of the world cup. In this match we  saw that the players of both the france and England squads were targeting  to score. No one wanted to keep the defense strong. France conceded  4 goals in the first half. But their  comeback in the second half  was also quite enjoyable.

Despite conceding 4 goals in the first half , France wanted to win  the match. That is why the second half of the match became  more enjoyable. In the second half we saw 6 goals. Even after  90 minutes, both teams managed to score one goal each in  extra time.

To be honest, it was a good match to watch. I never expected 10 goals to be scored in a Bronze Medal match, especially since the two playing nations were so competitive. In the first half it was England who dominated the match and in the 2nd half, France came back strongly. One reason why we saw too many goals could be that there was no real pressure of losing the game and the players played to their freedom without worrying about conceding goals.
 
I couldn't remember another knockout or third-place match in the WC that had so many goals.

The 2026 FIFA world cup has been a fun to watch and joyous tournament, from the starting till this moment for most of the football lovers and fans.

It has been a competitive tournament with a nice play from each and every nations and teams that participated in the tournament.

Personally, both of the teams I wished for to win the tournament are now in the finals, as such, I will be certified and happy whosoever wins today as both teams are mine.

It is not surprising that many goals were scored because England and France played freely and openly in this match after the disappointment of losing in the semifinal match made England and France seem to have no more targets for this third place match so that it was proven from the early minutes of the match both teams immediately played attacking and open only England started the match very well so they were able to maintain this victory despite the drama in the last minutes but indeed England deserved to win the match.

If Spain wins today, they will have won two World Cups; if Argentina wins today, they will have won four World Cups. But for the individual title, if Spain wins it will be Yamal's first World Cup and if Argentina wins it will be Messi's second and last World Cup. I bet $10 on Spain to win. I don't know if Spain will play with the same good defense they've had in all the games of this World Cup.

But if they really manage to play as well as they have been playing since the beginning of the World Cup, then I expect to see them leave this game with a victory. The match was played without pressure and thats why we seen so many goals,the match was simply amazing from 0-4 to o most 4-4 and if France somehow was able to turn it around that would have been the biggest comeback ever in a world cup game. It was really a fantastic football night that was very entertaining and at same time full of emotions at the final whistle. Little did I expect that the third place contenders would make the game a goal scoring feast, 10 goals altogether in one game. When France scored 3 goals in a row making it 3 : 4 next I was expecting was for them to make it 4:4 to take the game to an extra half time but England extended their goals with two more. I am hoping the final between Spain and Argentina wouldn't be boring and one sided possession game but much interesting as well

That third place match was pure madness!! 10 goals in one game That is not football, that's a basketball score. France showed real fight to come back, but England just kept answering every time. You have to give credit to both teams for not parking the bus and just going for it. I just hope the final can live up to that.

The goals were a part of what made the entire game captivating to watch till full time , and even with how the goals were too many it still wasn't like some games where just one side were doing the goals scoring. It would have being a boring one if it was one sided but because the two sides are an attacking team they didn't see bus parking as an option, hence the goals.

Spain and Argentina are both tactical sides, so it might not be as open. They like to control possession and play slow, measured football. But after that show, fans will be expecting fireworks. Let's hope they don't disappoint us with a boring 0 : 0 snoozefest

Spain are of equal strength as Argentina and I don't think any of this two would be parking bus in this game. Spain are known for ball possession, and you can't play defensively and be possessing the ball at same time. It won't be a barren game neither will it be dull.

I think FIFA introduced the the third place game in bit to imitate Olympic games and how they hand out medals to the third position.

Inasmuch as it's a game that the semi final losers play, I don't think there's anything serious about it. I don't even see them scraping it away.

That said, I enjoyed last night game between France and England. Don't think I'll enjoy the final like that because the teams I would've loved to watch in the final didn't make it.

England really take on France yesterday from the first half of the game, before France could think of equalizing the game England has score up to 6:4, but the sweetest part of the game was that Mbappe was able to adde more goals to make it look difficult for Messi meeting him up with the highest goals scorer, definitely today match will determine if Messi can be able to score up three goals to pass Mbappe but with the ways final always ends, i don't think there will be much goals in this FIFA world cup final and secondly Spain defense is very strong for Argentina to penetrate  so easily.

Surprised by all those goals, it seems like they were just going through the motions of playing. I was quite amazed because in the first half alone England had already scored 4 goals; France really didn't seem interested in playing this match. I’ve also heard a lot of rumors about disharmony in France. Didier Deschamps isn’t brave enough to manage their star players, especially Mbappe. This situation also adds to his bad record after his statement in January 2025 that he wouldn’t extend his contract and would step down after the 2026 World Cup, making the match against England the official finale of his career as France’s coach. Today Spain vs Argentina, I hope Spain can stop Argentina from winning consecutive World Cups.
