It's full time and still 0-0 as nothing seems to separate the both teams they will be going into an extra time, Argentina is already with 10 men now and this is going to increase the pressure in them more. Argentina goal keeper made a good save in the last minute of the second half a free kick played by Yamal almost ended the game before this extra time but the goal keeper says no.

It’s a tough one today! I have still have believe that Argentina might go home with the cup even though they preformed bad in terms of possession and control over the pitch but they can still go home with the cup but if they don’t Spain takes it and then it leaves Yamal to be born today again. Finally Spain has won it in a very interesting and intense manner, they totally outplayed Argentina and boxed them in and the red card made matters worse for Argentina, until the goal came in there was no sense of urgency in the Argentines, the Spanish players never gave them a chance.

Once again Barça has won it for Spain!. Ferran Torres the most unlikely player, the one you don’t expect much from but he delivers.

Argh, does this deserve to be called the final? there was no tension, no buying and selling of attack, purely one-sided, Spain were absolutely outrageous with the way they played, a clear dominance as they gave Argentina absolutely nothing to create chances and even Argentina could only play a total defensive game. Honestly, I couldn't imagine Argentina playing so badly today. How can a team that went to the final have 0 shots on target? Argentina really deserved to lose today. They don't need to feel sorry or cry for this.  On the other hand Spain really played great today, I would have been sad if they didn't get the cup. They deserve it. I'm not surprised by the victory of Spain because they have always dominated their game from the beginning. Though Argentina was able to progress in some of their matches that many didn't think they would. All I can say about Spain's performance in this World Cup is absolutely excellent. They know how to play, and you could see their performance in this game against Argentina. I really appreciate the players, especially the man of the match, Lamine Yamal, and Nicolas. Spain deserve their flower, they dominated the game from the beginning to the end, one of main mistake Spain did, if they were coming from the midfield to break the Argentina defense it will be easy for them, but coming from angles were a bit difficult for Spain. In my own analysis, the real result of this game didn't reflect, with what I saw, Spain were supposed to score at least 4 goals. However the red card really broke Argentina fabrics, they were already defending with complete eleven men, but that red card forced them back permanently.

Did you watch the match at all, I doubt that because all through the whole 90 minutes of the final world cup match, we can see the amount of tension in both team and for Argentina the goalkeeper did everything he could.

He saved several shots and only among the 3 that penetrated only one of the goals was qualify as recorded goal and it came in the extra time.

So I can say that we saw a highly competitive match tonight but only Spain becomes the winner with just 1 goals to become the world cup champions.

Literally, it is correct that Spain won the 2026 FIFA World Cup because they were able to show their natural performance but I think Argentina performed the worst in today's match. It is very surprising that the last time's champion team could not shoot on target in the first 90 minutes, however, I noticed that Argentina was defeated by Spain's strategy and speed in today's match. Congratulations to the Spain team because this team made up of young people has won the World Cup trophy for the second time and as far as I know, every player of Spain has shown a lot of hard work and great performance in this game especially Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres, the only winning goal in today's match was scored by Barcelona player Torres. You are absolutely right, I don't see any reason to feel sorry for a team like Argentina where they performed so poorly. I watched the entire 120 minutes of the game and didn't see them attack once. Another surprising thing is that Spain could have scored a long time ago if the Argentine goalkeeper Martinez hadn't made a dozen saves. The Argentine goalkeeper tried his best to save the match but how much more can a goalkeeper do? I will blame the entire Argentine team for today's match because how they got to the final with this performance is a surprise to me.

It was an absolutely incredible match, Spain dominated from the very start. I didn’t expect their style of play to be this beautiful. They tore through Argentina defense, Spain should have scored three goals in this match, but the other two were disallowed due to offsides and fouls. It was quite nerve-wracking waiting for the match to end, as the Argentine squad tried to tie the score toward the end, unfortunately they were unsuccessful.

There are no words to describe it other than to say they are truly DESERVING of the championship.
