At the end of the day, we have to say it was a match where the deserving team won. You could even say Argentina wasn’t really in the game. They struggled to create any chances throughout the match; it wouldn’t be wrong to say Spain completely dominated the game. I congratulate Spain, and it’s only fair to say they truly deserved it. They’d played well all the way to this point, and in the Final, they didn’t let their opponent get into the game and sealed the victory in extra time.

That final was just too strange to draw any real conclusions about either team's overall quality. I don't think I saw Argentina play that badly at any point during the tournament. They looked completely lifeless in the final and didn't manage a single shot on target in regular time. I don't know if it's just me, but it all seems very suspicious. To me, it almost looked like Argentina handed the victory to Spain.

How do you go on beating and punching Spain players when thry decide to celebrate. I saw Monila punching Rodri in the chest, I saw Paredes punching Garcia, the same with Gavi. The same for one of thier staffs hitting Daniel Olmo in the neck That was pure thuggery and bullying. He shouldn't only be red carded, he should be penalised by fifa and possibly banned. Glad to see that football won  the game.

Anyway, Congrats to Spain..

I might be late but I didn’t missed the match  , I couldn’t concentrate that much though but from the little time  spent watching, all I can say is that Agentina messed up pretty bad in this game . They were booked several times  just because they were trying to defend their way all through to the Penalty Shootout .

Their keeper [_Martinez ] prevented them from being shamed entirely, he prevented atleast 5-0 as outcome for this match.

Can't miss a final for any reason so I watched every bit of it. I'm not gonna lie the game was really interesting even though it was mostly one sided, Spain dominated every aspect of the game, from possession to shots, and even shots on targets. I don't think Argentina messed up, that was the only way they could survive but the only thing that messed things up was the red card, getting a man sent off made it a lot worse than we thought. Defending that long is difficult to pull off. From the beginning I knew Spain would be victorious but I never knew they will go all the way to extra time.

I congratulate Spain for winning the final. I never expected how they will be totally isolated Argentina's gameplay. They even made Argentina recorded 0 attempts and shoot on target. It's hard to believe it by myself, but Spain is literally in another level of football.

However, there might be a chance for Argentina to push the game to the penalty if Enzo was not getting a red card. So sad he did something wrong at the crucial moment.

I also a bit disappointed with how Scaloni was not subbed off Messi when Messi ghosted the whole game, but it's already happened. So put respect on the result. I hope Scaloni learns from some wrongdoing of his tactic in this final.

I can't believe that the best team in the world like Argentina couldn't create an effective attack for a long time to fight Spain. But this goal difference could have been even bigger if Martinez wasn't there. Because Spain attacked Argentina's goalpost many times throughout the game and Martinez was able to hold the ball tightly most of the time. And Enzo deserved to get a red card, he started a long time ago and started pushing and shoving the Spanish players. After Enzo got a red card, it became even more difficult for Argentina to handle Spain's pressure. Messi didn't play that well in this match. Overall, Argentina played very badly. Spain was the team that deserved this match.

I am only reading this from you first, if this is true, how could fifa let such slide? They should penalized all the Argentina players involved in such as attitudes like that shouldnt be tolerated, when two teams play against each other, a team must win and the losing team must gladly accept defeat, Argentina players bulling Spain players is an act that shouldn't be accepted or condoned.
But all the same, I celebrate Spain for their win, it's a well deserved win.

Unfortunately, I didn't watch the part of the match that involved such bullying, I only managed to watch the first half of the match, I was feeling very sleepy but I managed to keep my eyes open until the first half was over, then the short break and before the second half began, I already slept off, yeah, that was how tired I was and coupled with the fact I didn't sleep the previous night.

However, this final match was very strange, especially the game that we saw between Argentina and Spain, where it seemed that Argentina might be a small team. The Spanish team kept Argentina in such a state of despair that they attacked and Argentina resisted. Until the main time of the game, the Argentine team could not attack and shoot a single shot on target. It is really strange, it is doubtful that Argentina might have given Spain their victory. I am very pleased with the refereeing performance of the official entrusted by FIFA to officiate the Spain vs. Argentina match. The referee’s performance in the Final is one that should have been consistently applied from the group stage all the way through the semifinals.
Argentina’s poor performance was evident as Rodri and his teammates dominated the game with such precision that there was absolutely no opening for Argentina to attack, just as in their previous match. Gee I was at shocked by this I outcome because I never expected this match would ever ended in shame, ths is very bad, imagine Argentina couldn't even make any attempt to achieve a single award in this season FIFA world cup tournament,  I knew very well that before the match,many people were expecting Messi to either wins the world cup or at least scores more goals additional just to surpassed Kylian Mbappe and becomes the highest goalscorer of the tournament, but the storyline were not as they expected, Spain is one of the greatest teams I love the most in this world cup,as such the end of GOAT banter and bragging has ended yesterday, because the Spain’s performance has cut them off, so Let's get the fresh blood started, wishing Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar a successful life, Probably this maybe thier last world cup played.

To be honest, Argentina has gotten this far largely thanks to a bit of luck. Almost everything had already been decided. Even their comeback against Egypt was a miracle. They came back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2, but I don’t think Argentina deserved to win that match. Anyway, they made it this far, and Spain gave them a real lesson in beautiful soccer and took home the trophy. I’m happy that the deserving team won. They were going to send Messi off with the trophy, but they didn’t manage to do it.

Messi has played well even at the age of 39, and he also played very well in this year's world Cup. argentina's defeat to Spain in the final certainly won't upset him too much, as he has already won a World Cup in his career. This is why sometimes I am usually not quick to joining everyone to title a team the best so quickly,  they may have all the good performances,  may have also be looking good throughout a competition but may not be exactly the best team, personally I would prefer to see France as a better team as compared to Argentina.  They were literally not exactly very brilliant throughout the competition but because somehow they were able to find their way to passing every stage till they got the finals,  many taught of them to be a very good team and now they got their actual form exposed. There was nothing Messi could do yesterday to save his team from being defeated if not, he would have prevented it. Martinez was really their savior because he saved more than 12 shots on target and recorded the highest save ever in the world cup finals since the history of the world cup. Argentina saw what was bigger than them last night.

Argentine players have the worst character in this World Cup. They have been displaying it from the beginning of the tournament and have been getting away with it because they were overlooked by some of the match officials. It was a shame to see professional players attacking opponents for no reason.

Their fans have been accused of racist behaviour. One begins to wonder what Argentine society will be like because the behaviour of these players and fans tarnished the image of the country.

Messi did everything he could during the whole tournament. He scored or made assists in every match until the final match. Maybe he couldn't do so in this one but it was due to the way Argentina played.

They only focused on extending the match without conceding as much as possible. They were already a successful team in penalty shootouts so they thought they could win that way.

The victory didn't suprise me cause I know Spain is a good team with good players especially their midfield but I'm still shocked at how Argentina couldn't register any shot till 90mins, Spain just exposed how weak Argentina is, I believe if they've played stronger teams from the group stage, maybe they wouldn't had got this far. That was indeed a moment that showed a lack of sportsmanship. and well, they should have been able to accept the loss gracefully. What happened after the match ended will actually only make the Argentine players embarrass themselves. They really should have shown more restraint. Anyone would be disappointed after a loss, but we can’t take out our frustration on the opposing team that won the match. The referee even had to issue a red card during that commotion.

Annoying, boring, and a tragic ending for Argentina. I was fed up during the first half because it reminded me of the Champions League final between PSG and Inter. One side dominated the match, while the other could only defend. Spain had a million chances, but luckily Argentina had Emiliano Martinez, because without him, Spain might have scored more than three goals.
Congratulations to Spain, whose lone goal from Ferran Torres secured their 2026 World Cup title. Spain play was highly disciplined, with a keen sense of rhythm, excellent ball control, responsiveness, and above-average accuracy.

Personally, I had predicted from the very beginning that Spain’s performance would indeed be better than Argentina’s, right from the start of the World Cup. And I don’t think I’m the only one saying this.

Actually, it’s not surprising at all to see teams facing Spain always struggle to break through their defense. But Argentina certainly didn’t play as calmly as usual in the final. I think they played poorly because, from the very start, they seemed to have already lost in terms of mentality and composure, even though they’re usually a mentally strong team. But I suppose the pressure in the final was truly overwhelming. Maybe they realized that Spain is truly a top-tier team. Or perhaps they lost their composure because they were under pressure from their own desire to give Messi a World Cup victory in his final tournament. Sometimes expectations like that create even more pressure.

Even a very strong France was defeated by Spain with a decisive 0-2 score. so I think that Argentina having lost only 0-1, actually still showed that they are a strong team even when under constant pressure.
Portugal experienced the same thing when facing Spain, they struggled to control the ball and had difficulty building attacks. if Argentina had played with more composure, they could have performed better.
