I have never seen Argentina play so aggressively. They performed quite well before . Buy this match They got so many fouls and red cards. That seemed unbelievable to me. They were not even playing that well. Spain blocked Argentina's passing lines. The way they were passing, the Spanish players were blocked those passes. But Spain really played much better. They are even capable of beating any team in the world now. When they beat France and took their chance in the final, I knew that it would not be easy for Argentina to beat them. But I could not have imagined that Argentina itself would play so badly.

Argentina played very badly and this is something that Argentina fans have to accept. We have not  seen such a terrible performance from Argentina in previous matches of the world cup. They committed a  lot of fouls in this match. More importantly, we saw a lot of missed passes by the argentine players. The Argentine players have never made so many mistakes in any previous match.

The match was controlled by the Spanish players. They played well and  dominated from the beginning. Their passing and  attacks were very fast. And that is why argentina  was under pressure from the beginning. They had no other  option than defensive gameplay. Argentina lost badly against Spain's strategy and domination.

That's why it's such a difficult tournament to win; these things happen. A disastrous match, obviously Spain is largely to blame. At least the best team won that match, and there was no doubt about it. It's a nostalgic World Cup; the era has ended for several players, not just Messi or CR7—the list is long. The way Argentina played against Spain was a complete plan to prevent them.

In my opinion we can't even say that "Argentina played" because they did nothing. Literally nothing. They only tried to stop Soanish players either in a good way (very few times) or in a bad way (almost all the time). Once they had the ball they didn't know what to.

Argentina now are going to face a huge problem because Messi is going to retire but for me they also had another huge problem before this World Cup: nobody replaced Di Maria. They tried with Almada, with Paz, with Gonzalez, none of them worked. For the whole World Cup they passed the ball to Messi and they hoped he would create something out of the blue.

Argentina played horrible game today. I didn't they will perform like this. They were defendant champion of last worldcup game. So I accepted atleast some sort of beauty on their game. But it was like they wanted intentionally to pass the game towards Tie Breaker.

The way Spain played , their attacks if this games would have go towards tie breaker it would have so much unfair and badluck for spain. They truly deserves the game. Their magnificent pass was something to be watch.

I think that's a bit harsh finals are often cagey because both teams are afraid of making costly mistakes, spain were the better side wnd deserved the win but reducing Argentina's performance to they played like shit ignores how discipline they were defensively, As for parades emotions run high in games of that magnitude passions is part of football even if it sometimes boils over.

The outcome of the match does put Mbappe in a good position to go home with the highest goal scorer at the end of this world cup, although thst will only happen if Messi doesn't end up scoring more than 3 goals in the final so right now that is what I'm looking forward to, to see Mbappe come out with the most goals or to see Messi snatch that opportunity from him by scoring even more in the final today.

Messi most likely won't be coming back but Mbappe still has at least 2 more world cups to play unless things go side ways, but as long as nothing bad happens he still has at least 2 more to play which will give him even more opportunities to solidify his place as the highest world cup goal scorer, he might not make his impact the way the likes of Ronaldo and Messi did but if he is trying to compete against them then he will most likely lose, a smart approach will be to make his own path, and create his own records for others to try to break.

Mbappe is a fabulous player we might have to admit it, but it seems that he is only able to perform in the Worldcup which is not a bad thing but in order to be a complete player one has to have a club career parallel to an international career which is good. So if he wants to be a complete player, and go near messi then he has to have a good club career also.

With the way the Spanish team played I believe that they may actually be the team to make the record of winning the World Cup back to back if they are able to maintain this frequency that they are on and with the age of the young players they have they can dominate world football for a very long time. in the Spain vs. France match, France managed only 4 shots on target.
in the Spain vs. Portugal match, Portugal managed only 3 shots on target.
in the Spain vs. Argentina match, Argentina managed 0 shots on target.

so, Spain faced 3 football giants and forget about conceding goals, they allowed a grand total of just 7 shots on target in 300 minutes.

Spain deserved to win the World Cup based on their performance. Congratulations to them for winning the 2026 World Cup. It was a well deserved victory from the team, they won the World Cup without losing a single game throughout the tournament. Spain was one of the most underrated teams from the beginning of the tournament, they were not rated the way they deserved, it was after the group stage many people started to considered them among the favorite teams.

Spain dominated Argentina throughout the match with zero shots on target in the first 90 minutes from Argentina. This was the same team that eliminated Portugal with one goal in the quarterfinals, we thought Portugal players didn’t give their best, not until they played against France without conceding a single goal. Watching the final Argentina play in this World Cup, it seemed like they lost due to a bad strategy while playing against a local team like Spain, a strong team. I didn't know Argentina could play so badly before. Looking at their performance in the final, it seemed like FIFA might have given them a chance to play in the final and they couldn't reach the final because of their own ability. Really, if they had played like the game or performance they showed last night, they would have been eliminated in the knockout match. But Spain played brilliantly and they deserved it.

I have to admit that Emiliano Martinez has excellent reflexes. He was able to read where the ball was going and make several crucial saves. However, in extra time he may have been exhausted and lost his concentration for a moment, which allowed Torres to pounce on the loose ball and score.

What Paredes did has no excuses. I don't care what he says, maybe the Spanish players really told him that phrase, maybe they didn't, does it matter? No, because if you go berserk just because they told you the referee helps you, maybe you shouldn't play football. It was truly surprising in the final as only one team launched an attack while the other team simply defended without even a single shot. Argentina was completely rendered helpless by Spain in this match, unable to even build an attack. Spain was truly great and deserved to win this World Cup trophy.

This final also served as solid proof that football is an 11 man game. Spain's statistics of 68% possession and 20 total shots were truly the result of a well-thought-out system not just individual action. The key to Spain's success in this World Cup didn't rely on any one player regardless of who played, their game plan remained unchanged from the first match. Spain collective effort was truly extraordinary.

It could be said that other teams may have players like Messi, Mbappe, Olise, Haaland, Bellingham, Kane or other superstars. But Spain had a very solid team across all lines and this was evident in the final against Argentina. Yamal didn't provide an assist or a goal, but that didn't matter to Spain as they have players capable of scoring and assisting.
