It's shocking to see FIFA ban Al-Nassr, Saudi Arabia's leading club, from registering new players. I projected it to happen, with exceptional big contract arrangements offered to European players, with bids so enticing that the players would not reject or decline the offer.

Following the main stories, it's linked to when the Nigerian striker, Ahmed Musa, was signed from Leicester to the Saudi Arabian team back in 2018, when he was in the spotlight during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Al-Nassr has not paid the outstanding £390,000 in add-ons and interest. Surprised to see them face three consecutive FIFA transfer window bans, and they have these seasons to pay the amount, or they will be referred to FIFA's disciplinary committee, which the Club chiefs confident it won't reach that stage as they would intend to pay the pending debts to the Foxes who got relegated to championship.
Fifa has follow Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia,  they never brought this matter since , its now they  know they have to sanction them, just to weaken the Al Nassr, and Ronaldo, FIFA is corrupt, let them sanction Barcelona first, the Saudi Arabia league is now a threat to them, they want to use sanction to stop players from signing to the clubs in the league.

If, AlNassr is owning Musa any dime, they should sort it out, and avoid Fifa, they focus is to tag the Saudi Arabia league bad, but the league is growing so fast and they will not have more hands in it.
This problem arose at the most inopportune moment. Because if this problem is not quickly resolved then Al-Nassr will not be able to register the players they got in the transfer market to the Al-Nassr club. But the problem of Al-Nassr's debt to Leicester City also seems not big. Maybe a few years ago when Al-Nassr had not been taken over by the PIF. Al-Nassr did face financial problems. but for now I think paying off the small amount of money is not difficult. and hopefully FIFA lift the sanctions. Because I'm really looking forward to Hakim Ziyech being able to play with CR7.

Pogba took a salary cut back in 2022, so that he can move back to Juventus. He was getting around £15,000,000 per year with Manchester United, but was not happy with the club and wanted to move. Given this, I don't think that he will be swayed by the offer of €100,000,000 (£85.6m) offered by Al-Ittihad (around €33 million per year). Also, as many of the users pointed out, injury has been a big concern for Pogba. BTW, his current salary with Juve is £6.8 million. But tax is factored in, and Juventus ends up paying a total of £8.9 million in salary per year.
After leaving Manchester United for Juventus, I thought he was going to rejuvenate his career only for him to go into oblivion. He's had tough time with knee and muscle injuries that has limited him from representing the old ladies, as he was only able to make just 10 appearances in all competitions last season. He still has 2 years on his contract with Juventus and they really want to see him leave. I don't expect much from Pogba based on the fact that he's already 30 years old and also his injury concerns, but the Al Ittihad move is a great opportunity to try another league and earn big wages before he finally decides to hang his boots.

Of course, by spending a lot of money to take great players from Europe because there is a big goal that is more valuable than those millions of money.
We don't know what the real goals of some Saudi clubs are, but I admit that they always try hard to be able to prove that Saudi football is also good and strong enough like European football.
Several European players who are currently in Saudi Arabia will one day leave on their own but their departure will only be moving to other Saudi clubs and the player trade between Saudi clubs can run well.

I do not denigrate Saudi Pro League but if we talk football club then the end point is profit we know so far a club like Al Nassr has not made a profit while spending will continue, can we imagine how long this situation will last, 2-3 more seasons? maybe we can see the results in 2 more seasons after that the club owner will carry out an evaluation and make a decision. I personally think their aim is not to be the best League but to promote something in their country, however it will be difficult to compete with the European league.
I understand you point and indeed the end point of a football club is profit but when Al Nassr has very large expenses and cannot recover these expenses it is not a complicated problem because they only have players with high prices in one season while to be able to reap the results it takes a long time either two or three more seasons.
Profits for every football club can certainly be obtained and there will be a time when these high-priced players will give success to Al Nassr.
There is no need to think about negative things and it is better for us to support what can make them a strong team for the Saudi League.

It's shocking me too. The amount was not so big. FIFA will able to lift the ban as long as al nassr will able to pay it as soon as possible. It's a shame for a club that paid a lot of money for ronaldo to owe add ons for leicester city. The amounts are nothing compared with ronaldo's salary 1 week.
We shall not feel worry about that. The owed amounts by Al Nassr were relatively small. The club will most definitely pay for the recovery of its reputation, and I strongly believe that Al Nassr will not allow this situation to persist for an extended period of time.

The Saudi League is just developing so information about most of clubs are scanty. Also, most of these clubs are financed by the government. The vision of the Saudi league seems to be integrated with the national goal. The reason for this transformation of the league is to showcase Saudi Arabia as an investment hub and to secure the 2030 World Cup bid. So the nation is willing to sponsor any team to get more players. They are projecting to attract at least fifty-star players. So I concur the finance will not limit Al-Ettifaq from signing Henderson.

Yes, I've also read information about this. The main purpose of bringing in Ronaldo is to promote Saudi Arabia and make him an ambassador. Football is the easiest way for everyone to accept, by bringing in Europe's top players, of course it will make fans who want to meet their idols become tourists to watch football and travel to Arab, although Saudi Arabia has never been empty of tourists both for Umrah and Hajj. It looks like the government of Saudi Arabia wants more non-religious tourists to visit this country.

Yes, this is some kind of funny story and the "problem" amount looks like an pretense and not a reason. Obviously, European clubs are already under a lot of pressure from the transfer activity that the Saudis are leading, and perhaps this is an attempt to somehow cool them down.
I hope the Saudis don't stop, I just want to watch the world transfer market burn  Grin

Before Ronaldo join the Saudi team we didn't have much interests from the top European players to play in the Saudi teams and earn money to end their career there, but since Ronaldo is a known player and after he joined there, the wave of some players joining the Saudi teams started.

Before Ronaldo join the Saudi team we didn't have much interests from the top European players to play in the Saudi teams and earn money to end their career there, but since Ronaldo is a known player and after he joined there, the wave of some players joining the Saudi teams started.
Yes, that's clear because Ronaldo is a mega star who is very influential for other players. He is an ideal example in football including his former team-mates Karim Benzema. Now we see there are several more players following in Ronaldo's footsteps to end their SPL career. He bridged and opened the gates for other European players and former stars to have careers there. In addition to Ronaldo's fame as a football celebrity, there will be many factors other than the achievements and the Champions that he won in his golden age, including his lifestyle and where he has a career which is a benchmark for other players as well.

Of course Ronaldo's presence had a direct impact on the Saudi Pro League specifically his current club An Nassr. This is one of the reasons that made the SPL the choice of former top European players like Benzema and Kante wanting to move there apart from the large salary factor they received. On the other hand, the SPL rating will automatically get better and the club will reap benefits in various forms such as jersey sales, tickets and television rights.

Saudi's offer is far above what already received by him now. It's quite hard to reject it. I think that pogba shall accept it. It doesn't even matter how many times he injured. Juventus is now putting him in the transfer market with the price around €10 million. It's very from what has ever offered in the past which was more than €100 millions. The arabian club can buy him easily from juventus. It's caused by juventus doesn't wanna see him stay even longer in the club.
Juventus wanna try to use money raised from him to sign kessie from barcelona. Several teams have targeted Kessie. It will not be an easy task for juventus to sign kessi as a new player.
If saudi's offer was true and i think that pogba shall accept it before try to create another mistake again. No choice for pogba other than leaving from the club.

OK.. so looks like Juventus doesn't want Pogba in their squad. Good for him that Al Ahli came up with a blockbuster offer, which may be worth £128milllion over three years (including bonuses). There are some big names playing for Al Ahli right now, including Roberto Firmino and Edouard Mendy. Pogba's entry can make them one of the strongest teams in the SPL. My only concern would be his injury issue. In the recent past, he had injuries on hamstring, knee and groin and had to miss most of the Juventus matches in 2022-23.
True, injury gonna be a serious issue for pogba. He is not able playing regularly for juventus till this time. Those saudi clubs were making huge gambling to buy him with a lot of money.
Ahli and ittihad are keen to bring pogba to the saudi pro league. He must have passed medical test first before he will be able to join in the club. There's no update regarding him at this moment. My guess if pogba is still thinking so hard.
Juventus didn't wanna see him stay even longer caused by the club must pay his salary while he has been absent for a long time.

But tax is factored in, and Juventus ends up paying a total of £8.9 million in salary per year.

in my opinion pogba should accept the offer from the arabs if this is really true, because if he stays at juventus he has much more chances of not playing frequently, since he got his injury prolonged, it's been a long time since he's played for 90 minutes in a serious game and that made European teams lose interest in him, and even at Juventus, it seems to me that he is no longer needed, I understand that with his age and if he agreed to play in Saudi Arabia he would not return to Europe anymore to play in a great team, but at least if he gets a 3-year contract then he could guarantee a good retirement, after the end of his contract maybe he will play again in some team in Saudi Arabia but with a lesser contract

but one thing is for sure: he won't be playing in big teams in europe anytime soon if he stays in europe and at juventus he will spend many games sitting on the bench, i wonder if it's worth staying in europe sitting on the bench or going to a league who is surprising me with good signings and is becoming a quality and prestigious league and already has the attention of all sports and news channels, without a doubt that the best option for him would be to go to saudi arabia, I hope he makes a good choice

Of course Ronaldo's presence had a direct impact on the Saudi Pro League...

I dare say that if ronaldo had not been in the saudi arabia league, great players like benzema and others would not have agreed to play in saudi arabia, even if they were given a lot of money. ronaldo brought attention and this will be giving the league prestige, currently they are players in the process of retiring, but soon we will see many talented young players going to play in saudi arabia

Arab clubs are smart enough to find ways to make their leagues more popular, they take players who have a very large base and can also be said to be one of the current football icons. On top of that, they also have the money, so they don't hesitate to spend a lot of money on a player. Of course, that is the way to go for older players who still want to play but for a high amount of money. Now the Arab League is one of the destinations for players who have begun to fade in Europe, even names that are still very good in Europe are also not reluctant to taste competition in the Arab League.

I was actually happy some time ago when I heard Messi would join the Arab League, because the competition from these 2 players (Messi and Ronaldo) might happen again. But unfortunately he prefers to go to Miami to continue his career there.

The money is not big but why Al-Nassr is taking a long time to pay that money? so far no one know the reason. However, in 2018, such allegations were made based on the transfer of former Leicester City player Ahmed Musa. According to the contract, the club was supposed to pay some extra money based on his performance during that time but it failed to get that money against a well-known club of the present time, Al-Nassr. But since the club spends huge sums of money on the purchase of renowned player, it is not a big deal for them to pay that little money. Moreover, PIF will reimburse the club. I think this is big deal for PIF. The club is sanctions from buying players so that they could pay off the money quickly. Al Nasr was asked by FIFA to repay the money in October 2021. But the club did not pay that amount. As a result they have been sanctions now but I think the money will be paid soon.

I honestly believe that he took a cut to play, and he didn't and that means he should be more than happy to accept a bigger pay. There is nobody on this world that would be willing to pay him 20 million or something at Europe, that's not going to happen and I feel like the best chance he has would be making sure that he is getting paid a good sum before he retires.

He is getting older as well, I understand some players not going there, but I also need to point out that he is going to get more money this way than any other way in his life. Making more money than he could ever hope for is an acceptable thing to leave, and he should be leaving to get paid and play there and he could get injured again so he shouldn't take a risk.

Based on the news circulating right now it looks like Al Nassr is getting punished by FIFA, the punishment obtained is not being able to register their new players such as Brozovic and maybe some other new players too. But yes, from one of the sources I got it said that the problem was in the debt that was still not paid off maybe from two years ago. Quite surprising too I think, because as a rich club but Al Nassr is still in debt too and has not been paid off. So yes, of course it would be better for Al Nassr to pay off their debts first because then, they can comfortably recruit star players like their competing teams Al Hilal and Al Ittihad.

There have been reports in the media that Pogba has dismissed rumors regarding him joining an Arab club. because he still wants to be with Juventus next season. although on the part of Juve, there is also the possibility of selling Pogba if there is an option to get other players. but I am more convinced that Pogba will stay at Juventus for at least another season. and if indeed Juve are going to sell him, I think a European club would be a better fit for him.
This season he hasn't played much. It doesn't seem to make much contribution to Juventus. Just coming from Man United he was immediately injured, he only had 6 appearances with Juventus this season. It seems that this makes Juventus ready for a loss.
If we remember he was at Manchester United for 105 million Euros. For now Juventus are ready to sell at a price of 10 million Euros. The 2022/2023 season is the worst season for Pogba, he can even only sit down due to injury.

I was actually happy some time ago when I heard Messi would join the Arab League, because the competition from these 2 players (Messi and Ronaldo) might happen again. But unfortunately he prefers to go to Miami to continue his career there.

Messi knew he didn't want any competition again between home and Ronaldo and he also wanted to just enjoy football plus the deal that MLS brought to the table was too good of a deal to reject and accept SPL money. I am happy Messi went to Miami as him comings to SPL would had taken the attention from the actual progress of the league and focused on just Ronaldo vs Messi debates. At the moment other players will have the opportunity to shine. Jr made the best decision going to Miami.

On the other news circulation the media, It's not surprising that FIFA remembered Al Nassr now because they're in the spotlight due to the move of Ronaldo to the club and them been very active in the transfer window signing more European players. Ronaldo impact has both the negative and positive effects. Al Nassr been in debt is also a surprise, maybe they forget because we know money isn't a problem of this clubs in the SPL as you can see them spending millions to get washed out players in their 30`s and paying them life changing salaries.

I don't really understand Al-Ettifaq's financial condition, I tried to find several articles related to their finances, but I couldn't find them, because the majority of the media that showing in my search results pages were from local media. However, imo, maybe money is not a problem for Al-Ettifaq to sign Henderson if Gerrard has made him a target. But it seems that the problem is the quality of the league that Henderson doesn't want. Maybe he will accept the offer after another 2-3 years.
Al Ettifaq indeed isn't too popular compared to Al Ahli, Al Ittihad or Al Nassr and people know them because recently they had just hire Steven Gerrard as the new manager but from financial condition i am sure most of Arabian teams has health conditions so money isn't problem for them and even so with Al Ettifaq that one of the reason why Gerrard are willing to accept their offers because they promising huge money to bought the players this summer and Gerrard can pick which players he want

About Henderson i think Al-Ettifaq have to dissapoint because he doesn't interested to playing at Arab Pro League although Gerrard personally asking him to moved but for now Henderson target is he want to help Liverpool to reach their top performance again besides that Henderson was fear if he moved to Al-Ettifaq he will lost his place at England National team but indeed this is still not his final decision especially Liverpool already bought some of midfielder such as Szoboszlai and Mac Allister and maybe if Liverpool cannot guarantee one place into starting lineup probably he will thinking the offers from Al-Ettifaq

After I find out from various information about the Al Ettifaq club, they have a rich history, great achievements, and a large fan base, this club continues to represent the passion of the Saudi people's love for football. profile Al Ettifaq FC, known as one of the most historic and famous football club in the Saudi League. now, they are recruiting a coach like Steven Gerrard, of course it's no joke for those who have ambitions to compete with Al Nassr, who has several star players besides CR7.

This club too, has an impressive series of achievements throughout its history. they have won several titles and achieved success both domestically and internationally. This club, has a focus on developing young players through their football academy system. with investments in infrastructure and talent development, Al Ettifaq FC seeks to become one of the leading forces in Saudi Arabian football.
So, there's a lot we don't know about the clubs that compete in this League. with some of the notes I got, it seems likely that Al Ettifaq is financially sound. naturally, if they are also targeting some of Europe's top players + coaches.
The point is, they don't want to be outdone by the clubs that have been acquired by PIF in this competition.

Saudi Arabia managed to do that so that the Saudi Arabian premier league is increasingly popular and in addition to this summer transfer market many European players have joined the club there. Football is indeed easier to unite perceptions and in this industry there is no connection between religions, because football always creates a way to gather people without being coordinated and Saudi Arabia uses football to attract non-religious tourists to visit there.

At present there are many impacts from the business that Saudi Arabia is trying to develop in the sport of football. This sport is the largest with unaccounted capitalization in the business being run and Saudi Arabia really likes to do business by spending money on the targets they want because the wealth they have will make it easier for them to achieve what they want.

Ronaldo and Messi will already be tired of that, they will just want to enjoy football in their old age until they retire without having to deal with any unnecessary pressure from the media as they can always create one.

On the other news circulation the media, It's not surprising that FIFA remembered Al Nassr now because they're in the spotlight due to the move of Ronaldo to the club and them been very active in the transfer window signing more European players. The owners of the club will need to quickly raise money to settle the debt they owe that has caused them the ban, so they can continue to attract players to their club, because the  ban is to last three transfer windows if they do not act. The club will have a hard time if they cannot get new players especially now when other Saudi clubs without any ban are spending plenty money to bring experienced players to their club.
