The problem is that Real Madrid don't need to play well to win a tie, especially in the champions league, they've been a very sneaky team for a lot years, however it could be different this because Man City are on the top of their form, but then they were still almost as good as they are right now and were still knocked out by their lack of staying in control of the game.

Knocking out Bayern Munich definitely would have an impact on their level of confidence going into the game, the same thing can be said of Carlo Ancellotti, he's been at this stage several times so it's not new to him.

Damn it guys I am really disappointed with you, this was easiest question in history of our league. I did not intend it to be that way when I was writing it and just realized it today when I tried to answer it. I opened the draw to see who to pick and we already had all upper bracket semi finalists known yesterday. That means if you just pick those 4 teams you have guaranteed 2 correct and about 50/50 chance to get other 2 correct as well. So all you had to do was open the page I shared a couple of times or any other with draw and copy paste all the teams in upper bracket to probably get 3/4 correct answers 

I needed 10 seconds, somebody that doesn't know anything about how upper/lower bracket draw works would maybe need a bit more but I wrote about that here as well.

Trust me it's not as easy as you say. Even this draw information was so hard to find, as I was on different computer and trying to scroll up to find your post and in a rush just went from memory and odds. Wrong choice lol but anyway no more mistake. Teams like Real Madrid will always prefer to dedicate resources towards the champions league than the league itself and many teams do this to avoid having tired players on game day...if anything expect to see upsets if a team will be having a game in the champions league.

And with the likes of Benzema rested for CL, Vinicius Junior missed the game because  of Yellow Cards, Modric out with an injury,  they stood no chance with an in form Real Sociedad which is why the bookies turned the odds in their favour too, but I expected Madrid to atleast force a draw but this didn't go to plan, congrats to all that went with the favourite of the day   Cryptofrka I see you lol

So basically the easier way to understand that is that, if you lose on the upper bracket then you will be getting to the lower bracket but if you lose on the lower bracket then you are going home. The group stage before the playoff is pretty much round robin to determine which teams starts from upper bracket, which team gets the lower bracket and which teams will be knocked out before the playoff

I see that the DOTA upper bracket final teams are in and it's Gaimin Gladiators vs. 9 Pandas. That's another point for me I'm not sure how the tournament is organized but it's funny to see that we already have upper bracket finalists and in the lower bracket there are still four teams fighting for quarterfinals.

It also creates logistical issues. You have to reserve that spot in the Div1 then, but what if a team from Div1 wins it? Finalist goes? What if both finalists are from Div1?
What if a team from Div1 that is getting relegated wins it? Or a team from Div2 that is getting promoted?
It gets even more crazy - what if a Div1 team that is getting relegated and a Div2 team that is getting promoted are in the final and a team from Div1 wins?

Wow, I just realized how many things you guys have to look after. Half of these situations that you mentioned would never cross my mind. As for the rewards, don't forget that every week all of us are playing for the freebet rewards too. It's not much when you look at one reward, but if you look at the total of $10+$20+$30 multiplied by the number of weeks that one season lasts, it accumulates over $1500. And there is still the Cup and special promos. As far as I'm concerned, that's plenty of rewards.

I think your heads are already spinning with all this rules and divisions, and you need to answer questions and keep first place in Division 3
But you can always create one more Supercup match between Division1 winner and Cup winner, this can be like a cherry on top for this season.
I had really bad start of this round and I hoping that DOTA, New York and Brighton can save me from losing.
