Asking the question because after successive relegations, LFC_Bitcoin needs every advantage he can get.

Yes, the penalty is a round loss, a -3 GD and 1 additional negative point.
The only exception to the rule is a duel where both players don't submit - like we currently have in a famososMuertos - strongkored duel.
We will mark it as 0-0, but nobody will get a point (you cannot draw if you don't show up). These players however won't get -3 GD - but will get the usual -1 penalty point.

Before new season started they clearly said that everyone who post late will lose the round, and I expect this to be respected.
It is not that hard to add calendar reminders like I did, or send questions earlier in Monday.
Many people got lazy and do it only when reminded by cro2 babysitters  

They all waited for the Tennis question advantage and got lost in time - I had the same problem the only time I submitted late last season. 48hrs is enough time.

Btw Trofo do we have a deadline for the 35x35 logo? My colleague didn't have time today to play with it so I'll probably send it tomorrow.

No deadline, any time during the season you provide it, I update the table with it.
Rules for logo:
1. must be 35x35 px to keep formatting, use extra transparent pixels if necessary.
2. upload it to talkimg and give me just the link, preferably in PM or telegram, could get lost in the thread

I literally agree with this, I have been without personal devices for quite a while now, and I have had to be on restricted number of hours around the forum in the past week, but still there have been quite a huge improvement to the competition system, incentives, efforts and commitments put into this season from both the organizers and the sponsor that really should have sparked people into early submissions, and most importantly there was no borderline reason that could have warrant the acceptance of any late submission in my honest opinion, even by a second. @Trofo already helped with what could have been the most difficult question of the round for most non-researching participants (DOTA 2) with way more than 24 hours from the deadline, while the Tennis question that could have also been the reason for any potential late entry ended with well over 4 hours from the deadline as well, although 10 of 14 submissions could be understood to have had Ruud in their Tennis H2H answers, however the game ended way before the deadline, making the necessity of their late submissions inexcusable as they weren't on the fence here like it was for most of last season.

You still have something to fight for this week. It's a freebet reward that goes to the best in a division  every week. I know that three points are what we all aim for every week, but a freebet is also a good bonus.

I see that majority of us failed with Uruguay - Brazil question. Who would have thought that Brazil will lose 2-0. Congrats to those who git that question right. All of you that went with Urugay winning also went with over 4.5 booking points. It would be interesting if the game finished with less than 4.5 booking points as in that case no one would have won that point.

didn't looked at answers, but Uruguay winning and under bookings has little sense, Uruguay advantage is getting the game into nervous, and you can expect everything, and a lot of booking
if Brasil had an early lead, that was a way to go under bookies, but they are obviously not in a good shape, conceiving late from Venezuela, and losing to Uruguay

still, it is a long competition, with a lot of teams qualifying, and prune to surprises

Damn you Brazil, Uruguay is a good team but since Luis Suarez retired along with Cavani I didn't really see them as capable of such big wins. I have to say Uruguay owe Liverpool for making Darwin Nunez into a crazy player.

I noticed also Ederson and not Alisson played keeper, if I know this I might have not opted for Brazil win!

I suppose every team prefers the timezone; I don't believe we have any teams from China or Australia.

You don't have to be China to share timezone though. I'm same timezone as Beijing. Deadline is 1am for me, soon to be 2am if daylight savings come in.

You can imagine it sees a disadvantage for me I had to submit early several times for fear of not being able to stay up late to wait for tennis/DOTA/football yet I never complained. I used VAR last season because of this

So I must say that if I can meet deadlines and stay up til 1am to post from mobile, I don't see why others cannot.

We give 48 hours to people just because of time zones, that is more than enough time for anybody to answer when it is convenient for him. We know there is sometimes advantage on some answers if you wait until last moment but that advantage is much less than disadvantage if don't submit on time. We try really hard to minimize such questions but in sports like tennis that is simply not possible.

What pisses me off personally is the fact that we loose a lot of time and effort on questions because of that 48 hours and then this much people doesn't submit on time.

Anyone can have gmail account on any device, form synchronizes on all of them. I am often super busy at deadline time so I make sure to fill out 8/10 or whatever on my PC and then I add last two on mobile after I get all the info.

We could see a similar tournament like that of the Shanghai Master where a Rublev a 10th seeded player for that tour, being the only player from the Top 10 seed left in tournament after the first few rounds. There is still a couple of round of 16 fixtures to be played, but yet there are just 4 players from the Top 10 left here, Felix Auger-Alliasime (8.), and Tommy Paul (5) both have quite a tough fixture ahead of them too for the QFs, I'll be very surprised if both of them should win their respective fixtures.

Damn you Ruud! I went with him to win the tournament. Thankfully my opponent went also with him winning the tournament so now I just need Fritz in the semi-final and DeMinaur not to advance to the semi-final. I'm already up 1 point due to England winning and Italy scoring one goal. Now there's nothing until the weekend except handball.

Worse, I even picked him to bevthe winner, and really because I just thought everyone on his side if the draw were lightweights. I don't know much about tennis but Ruud struck me as among the most boring, most conservative... but most consistent.

Running out of questions, bad position in my first round, haha.
