Oh wow! I just read the article that Trofo posted and I see that even I got mentioned. I'd love if I was mentioned in a good way, but it is what it is Winning against mv1986 would really boost my team's confidence and since Sinner withdrew and Alcaraz lost his game, it's not looking bad.

But then there is just one user, I don't understand how come, if it was premeditated or just a random luck, he went with Medvedev vs Rublev for final, I doubt there is a chance either of them not making it to the finals.

I was talking with cryptofrka and told him that there is no way both Alcaraz and Sinner will reach final in Madrid but there was no clear pick to take outside them. Medvedev on clay? No way for me. Rublev was in bad form before Madrid as well.

If I went different, it would have been for Ruud probably so same result.

This is not good for me, since I chose Sinner to Win the match. My Opponent and I have some of the same answers and I rely heavily on these questions to get a points.

Yep, when we were writing questions we all agreed that 90% will go with Sinner/Alcaraz combo, but we wanted to see who you'd give advantage to.
Sometimes it happens with tennis questions yeah - they are by far the hardest ones to write properly.

In other news, 4 NBA clashes are now with 3-2 scores so '0' looks like an unlikely outcome. I have 1, looking at the matchups it is possible but I have a feeling that 2 or more is the winner here.

In tennis, pace is an added advantage, and as you get older, you gradually lose that ability, and then twist and ankle issues begin to eat you up, making it difficult to compete against younger players with good pace. Nadal has won everything there is to win, and I'm shocked to see him still battling against kids who were watching him a few years ago and losing to them. Lol

Football and tennis are no different; age is a significant factor in both sports because they involve a lot of movement.

I read about Nadal saving his hip serve for end of year. Just serving from pure back and arm strength. I don't even really know what it means but I think if your body is screaming pain, you already replaced part of hips etc. You should listen to it and retire, or coach.

Americans say their football is tougher but studies show that the crazy athletics of football and contact result in higher injuries and more damaging long term.

I didn't watch Alcaraz play yesterday, but even If I did I strongly doubt I would have gone for the ticking time bomb Rublev, I most certainly would have just gone for players from the same bracket to go all the way, in this instance it would have been (Medvedev - Sinner) knowing that one of them should make the finals, of course there is no way to know that Sinner would withdraw... Went better than I expected actually so far. At the time I submitted, all four were at 2-2s, so I knew then, based on my "50/50 statistics" rule for basketball (which has so far proven to be a very accurate model), we should have on average 2 teams tying at 3-3. Doesn't matter as notblox1 also thought the same.

That makes it difficult to go with the opposite of what you would normally pick because there are still two or three answers left.

I mean if we have 4 possible answers and what you would normally go for is wrong, then you're literally left with 2 wrong answers and 1 right answers, boosting your chances from the usual 0% for always being wrong or 25% technically to 33.333% which is pretty much a better odd than always being imo wrong

Well, when you put it that way, it looks easy. But it's not that easy when you are facing three answers that your mind is telling you are wrong, but you still have to decide which one to choose. All three looks equally wrong, but you have to pick one.

You know that all of us will like it. But I'm not sure what do you mean by a mini side-competition. Euro is being played every four years. If we include World cup, then it's every two years. And a BSFL season last less than one year.

The format we plan to use is important, not the Euros (or World Cup) as a competition. If the feedback will be good, a similar format will become a side-competition as part of BSFL.
You would not have anything more or different to submit - it would take the same answers and just create something extra around it.

I can straight out tell that I played a little hedge here and included Aston Villa as the winner against Olympiacos. I couldn't trust my eyes when I checked the game and Aston Villa is 0-2 down. Seriously what is this and it's the same as always, sports betting is not predictable. Sometimes there are little obvious details where someone knows it makes sense to bet a lot, but this is one of these games where I suppose nobody would have said that Aston Villa will be 0-2 down by halftime!

I won another point but you still have a chance because you won question 4 with Aston Villa.
First I answered No, than I changed it to Yes before sending, bad decision and bad match from Villa.

It sucks when you're supposedly having the round of your season so far, but then your opponent is also equal to the task  

I'm currently 3/4 so far and I have perfect 4/4 in Europa League / Europa Conference question but I still can't get a breather or the smallest margin of advantage huh ??! Damn! Against other opponents I'll probably be looking forward to the next game round already with 3 points almost certainly in the bag
