I expected a lot of question difference due to my choices of answers, but that's not the case with my opponent, we have the same answers for the first four questions, and our tie would be determined by whether Lazio loses or not... Definitely not the way I wanted to go out

God, I hate the Cup.

The bloody question was in the first question which should have been the deciding question, there were a lot of us who were screwed by Portsmouth, with 64% possession & 15 shot attempts, they couldn't score even 1 goal at home match. In our match, currently @entebah is leading by 1 goal & we have the same answers also to the next questions, this will also be the end of the cup for me .

The cup uses a knockout system so that 1 mistake can eliminate us, with many members in this competition it is clear that more will fall in the early rounds.
However, those who can survive until the final can get quite tempting prizes or at least make it to the quarterfinals will provide a free bet with a value that is also quite good.
Don't give up, maybe this time you will get better results.

But results are the only thing that matter and I'm happy I chose against the favorite

I am currently very busy and raced through the questions so confidence is not very high.
But that is of course no excuse for maybe a bad performance

I didn't see any tennis or anything that needed research except for Denmark, but I went with my feelings as well. I don't think anybody can say this round or 2 rounds benefit much from research so don't worry, I think we all gave it our best shot. Milwall already gave me 1 point, so we now wait for Stuttgart and PSG and Braga and Lazio to decide between us, I don't think we need to go to penalty.

Don't count on it. I am notoriously bad in cup competition. League and LMS I am doing usually ok but cup competition is reserved for my under 18 team so board feels less inclined to sack me after exiting once again in first round.

As expected I already missed question num 1., not looking good for Round 2 against you.

Portsmouth couldn't really score even 1 goal out of 15 goal attempts, just wow! At least a draw would be enough to keep me alive in the cup for longer. Anyway, good luck man in later rounds.

Seeing the favorites lose against Portsmouth, it makes me less confident in my pick for Stuttgart to win. Odds favor PSG to win and two underdogs winning in one round of questions is not common. A draw is more likely.

You mean the H2H results? Milwall won 4 last games out of 5 before yesterday so that was actually one of my deciding point on taking Millwall as well. Another deciding point that I confidently picked Millwal was probably because this is a cup game so even if I lose on this, then it doesnt really matter that much. Its always feels nice to play on cup, totally less pressure even when I picked on least favourites team

I need City to win by 2 to remain alive. I know it won't really happen but at least I'm still in the game - if I picked the 'expected' City to win by 3+ goals, I'd be out already.

The reasoning behind the pick? Not so much City's bad form but Brugge's exellent defensive performance - they conceded only 8 goals in 7 games.
Losing 2-0 sounds quite reasonable when you look at it that way.

I also checked their H2H matches, but I didn't take them into consideration, because they hadn't played against other much in the recent years. Millwall and Portsmouth had only one match against each other in the past 3 years and only 2 matches in the past 12 years.
