I just checked the spreadsheet and you seem to be correct, but that wouldn't make you win. You lost the penalties 3-2.
I see the question number 2 has been highlighted in red mistakenly for Dittoup and B1g4udge too and if I calculated correctly, that wouldn't change the winner of their matches either.

It's disappointing to say a this early goodbye to the cup but there is nothing to do about it. I was unlucky to have the same answers with my competitor to 4 questions. 

Now it's time to focus on the league again. I see that my next competitor is Woodie. I hope I can retain my unbeaten series. All this effort is for promoting to Division 2 finally.    Let's look at the questions... Good to hear there is no NFL. I have 0 knowledge about the sport lately. The same for the ski championship also. I haven't watched it in my life. I'm not very familiar with DOTA either compared to LoL. Thankfully there is 1 question each in these categories. I hope I get lucky on those questions.

Checked this, I'll explain what happened. Basically yeah, 3 players didn't receive a point there (slaman29, B1g4udge, Dittoup).
For Dittoup it simply means that he wins 3-1 instead of 2-1 and you two unfortunately (or fortunately for me) lose on penalties.

When I initially graded the question, I graded it incorrectly. Then I realized that, but because there were many 'yellow' marked answers (for those out of the Cup), I graded them manually.
What I didn't realize is that I didn't scroll up the spreadsheet so I missed the first 10 or so rows and I didn't correct those.

Sorry to all those that were affected, this is a mistake due to manual corrections - which we basically never do so I don't think there's a chance of it repeating. I will be more careful in such instances going forward.

This also serves as a good reminder to the rest of you - always check your scores. It happens rare, but we sometimes make mistakes with all our checks anyway.

I agree, this round is not that far off from being a bloodbath when half of the questions are related to cup matches combined with the two-in-one answers.

I'm already itching to press submit on my predictions, but there's still something that's worth waiting for a bit.

Thanks guys! When I looked at penalties I saw it was yellow, so I thought it was a draw, and that if my red became green, then the penalties would be a draw and I guess tiebreaker, but then yes now I saw the yellow on penalties was also wrong it should have been Red for me.

No problems, congrats to my opponent and GL for next round, I was anyway expecting to be out of cup but it was fun.

And don't worry mafia brothers, everyone makes mistakes, manual checking is a big job with so many players, so yes it is also up to us to double check everything in a way, good reminder I think even buwa makes 1 mistake every round in CL Pot B because of manual work, but the manual method is what makes everything fun

I agree. It is the hardest DOTA question actually, because there is not many result to look at, totally open. Usually you can see which teams to eliminate from your choice when the deadline is there but this one, nothing

It depends from tournament to tournament. This one has groups just to make seeds for real draw. Nobody is getting dropped from the group. Best placed teams are skipping few rounds, 2nd, place are skipping one round less and so on. This group stage is also played on just one map, perfect for surprises and catching big odds but not gonna tell you much about winners.

It is though to track teams in DOTA sometimes, they change sponsor and name with that or just make a new team from few rejects from other top teams. Seems like this is that 2nd case, all familiar names for me but i don't know enough about China DOTA to actually place them from my head.

5 players from China region form teams together and use random name, pretty much thats it. Well yeah most of the teams are using random name for regional qualifiers before they got signed up by top esports organization that you probably recoqnize.

Kinda love this format though, it doesnt have lower bracket though so one simple error on the playoff will knock the team out. 1st place on both group stage starts on semifinals so thats pretty much guarantee 3rd-4th prizes spot
