From the current performances and current position in table of HBL PSL it's almost confirmed that Lahore and Multan will face each other in finals, both of them are well balanced because both has quality bowler and both has specular batting lineup and after arrival of England player after Thier series will make these team more dangerous, if you observe the current standing Quetta are too out of color while Karachi comeback little bit, but after tomorrow defeat from Peshawer will push them down as a result Peshawer and Islamabad will take 3rd and 4th postion to set Thier stage for semifinal.

Lahore Qalanders are on fire they are just phenomenal, most of fans were underestimating Lahore batting lineup because they taught the Lahore were bowling favorite team but in absence of brook still they are pumping Thier score and in this 16th match of PSL they scored 200 runs in 20 over with a runrate of 10 which is perfect for Lahore bowling lineup to defend. Now they dismissed the first two wicket of R.Gurbaz and C.Munro in 6th over while scoring total of 58 runs. Now the required runs is 143 in 82 balls which is fair to chase because still power hitter like Azam Khan and Asif Ali are on they way to bat.

I found this season of PSL more exciting than other seasons. Teams are often able to score 200 runs or more in this tournament. In T20 league 4 and 6 run boundaries really inspires the spectators. Last match Lahore Qalandars scored 241 runs and in today's match also they scored 200 runs. This type of batting will give them more chances to win. Moreover, their bowling line-up is also quite strong. Islamabad United lost all wickets for 90 runs.

Yes, Lahore Qalandars have performed really well. 200 runs is a big target. With the pressure the team have started to bat. The same had caused loss of wickets. There is no big partnership between players as the highest score coming from Islamabad United is 23 runs. The spin bowlers of Lahore Qalandars have made it their day with the low bowling economy and taking good number of wickets. Bad day for Islamabad United as they weren't unable to reach 100 runs.

We had a few close matches in the beginning, but now the matches are increasingly getting one-sided. And I don't understand the point in asking Lahore Qalandars to play two consecutive matches, on 26th and 27th February. But they won both the matches thanks to stellar performance from David Wiese and Fakhar Zaman. Now they have 8 points (same as Multan). But Multan has played one extra match, so Lahore is at an advantage. And for Lahore, the next match is against the weakest team in the tournament (Quetta Gladiators).

Well, though I do agree with you that considering the current points and the gameplays of the teams, Lahore Qalanders and Multan Sultans seem to be able to lock the top two positions for themselves, I also believe that anything is possible in t20 cricket and history shows that as well. Especially due to the model of the fixtures in the playoffs where the loser of the qualifier gets another chance to reach the final while the winner of the eliminator will need another win to achieve the same.

But we have seen such things happen in the past, in PSL and in IPL too, where one of the top teams loses all two matches and gets out of the tournament while one of the teams from the eliminator plays the final. So anything can happen.

He deserves it, without a doubt. So far this season, he has scored 235 runs from 5 matches, with a strike rate of 172.79. He has played a huge part in the exceptional performance by Lahore Qalandars so far in this season. Mohammad Rizwan is ahead of him in terms of total runs scored, but he has played one more game when compared to Zaman, and his strike rate is much lower. Among the top-5 run scorers for this season, only Imad Wasim has a better strike rate when compared to Zaman. And for Lahore Qalandars, the next match is against the weak Quetta Gladiators.

This is good comeback from Fakhar Zaman he's playing really good in this psl and have scored plenty of runs , last year he faced immense criticism on his performance and this is really upsetting for any player .

In today's match, Karachi Kings will face Peshawar Zalmi, two teams that didn't really have a very good tournament so far with only 2 wins for each side, where Karachi played 6 games while Peshawar played 5 so far. Both teams will surely be looking to tally two more points in their league round points table to stay in the run for the playoffs.

If we see the stats of both teams from the last match they played in the tournament, Peshawar batted pretty well against Lahore Qalanders, scoring 201 while chasing a target of 241 which was huge. On the other side, Karachi's bowling was top-notch as they bowled out Multan Sultans at 101 when defending only 167.

So the fixture should be an interesting one, and we will surely see some great cricket being played from both sides today as well.

Peshawar gave a target of 198 despite losing 3 wickets in 3 overs. Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Haseebullah Khan and Rovman Powell rebuild the innings nicely for Peshawar Zalmi. Muhammad Amir got 4 wickets but it looks like that 4 wickets wont be able to give any benefit to Karachi kings as they need  86 runs on 36 balls. Disappointing batting from Karachi so far only Matthew Wade was able to score half century.

Peshawar started really bad but their middle order saved them and brought the target to a decent point 198 is a good target . And Karachi Kings couldn't chase it in 20 overs , this is really sad point as Karachi Kings is losing its place in psl.

Shoaib Malik performance is disappointing so far in this PSL. In a game against Multan Sultan, in which they lost by 3 runs only, Shoaib scored 13 runs of 19 balls. Karachi Kings have played 7 matches and lost 5 so far. There performance is somewhat better then last year. Karachi Kings owner i.e. Salman Iqbal is also not able to come to Pakistan because he is wanted in a court case that may be one reason why Karachi Kings is down and out.

Peshawar Zalmi managed to keep the pressure from the start by scoring a big one. 197 in 20 overs gave the opposition Karachi Kings a target of 9.85 per over. Any team has to face various problems if they want to play against such a big target. Sometimes the pressure of runs and sometimes the fall of wickets puts the batsmen under great pressure in the match and that becomes very difficult to win by chasing. A few cricketers of Karachi Kings did not do well. Tayyab Tahir, Irfan Khan, Shoaib Malik they sore just few runs Ben Cutting and Aamer Yamin in the lower order also were not able to perform as expected.
