First of the three Women's League Exhibition matches will be played today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today. Bismah Maroof will be leading the Amazons, while Nida Dar is the captain of the Super Women. These exhibition matches are being played as a preparation to the WPSL, which will start sometime by September 2023. A total of 5 teams will be competing in the main tournament after 6 months and it is expected that a number of top overseas players from Australia and South Africa will take part. 

Super women won the game easily with 2 wickets fall , they have made 138 runs in16 overs . The target given by Amazons was 132 runs (run rate of 6.6) which is an easy target to chase .
The good thing is these matches are a good step to increase popularity if women cricket in Pakistan.

Again bad day for Multan Sultan as they score a good target but unfortunately the bowling lineup didn't execute they way they need. But any way they are already almost quality for next round of competition. After a comback tim David score a decent knock in his first match but it didn't worth it because they lose to defend a bunch of target. Credit goes to Munro for Thier power hitting and also a big and turning point partnership between the Islamabad captain shadab and Faheem ashraf help them to chase the target and submit a big victory.

Yesterday's match was really bad for Multan Sultan and they have already qualified for the next match as they were second in the points table. But now it has moved away from the second rank to third rank his bowling in yesterday's match is nothing special but Tim David performance was very admirable his 4 sixes back to back turn match into intense moment. He scored 60 runs off 27 balls but these runs did not work for his team. Anyway Congratulations Islamabad United they won Match by 2 wickets and 1 ball left.

Earlier against Karachi Kings, Islamabad United won the match chasing the target of 201 runs. Among the PSL teams Islamabad United is much known for chasing targets.

201 runs is not much because if we look at the previous matches every team has been giving target of 200 or 200+ to the opposition team and the high score in Pakistan Super League was 241 by Lahore Qalandar.

Yeh absolutely Shaheen and talat build a partnership in crutial time where match were completely out of Thier hand, at one time I taught that Shaheen will take the match away from Peshawer because he was doing absolutely phenomenal hitting but after his departure Peshawer grab them and that the turning point for them. Quetta Gladiators need two wins but impossible hope

A hard statistic for Quetta Gladiators is to win the next match including today's match and Peshawar Zalmi must lose all the next matches including today's match then only Quetta Gladiators can confirm Playoff. Quetta Gladiators dream of such statistics is really unrealistic. 
Some such unreal statistics have happened in the past in cricket but if Quetta Gladiators win today's match and if they win the next match too Quetta Gladiators won't secure playoffs due to run rate.

I couldn't watch the matches. How was the crowd response? In a few months time, PCB will be organizing the WPSL in Pakistan. I am doubtful whether the tournament will get enough support from the fans, because in general women's sports is not taken as priority in that country. WPSL is the brainchild of Rameez Raja, and he put so much effort in to organizing this tournament. I don't know how much the new PCB management supports the WPSL, but my advice to them should be to look at the long term benefits of this tournament rather than focusing on the one-time expenses.

Wao what a sunsational inning by Peshawer Zalmi they are on fire , Zalmi opening pair baber azam and saim ayub smashed everyone Quetta bowler and build a partnership of more than 150. It's important match for Peshawer in order to kick Quetta from tournament and confirmed his position in semifinal.

They were looking very strong, holding their position and winning matches and dominating, and then, all of a sudden, they lost 3 consecutive matches, and Islamabad United has taken the second position sending Multan from 2nd to 3rd.

Both Multan Sultans and Islamabad United have two matches left, and it'll be interesting to see who will be among the top two to secure a chance for themselves to still quality for the final even if they lose their first match.

I really can't believe what i saw today. Jason Roy played an even better inning than Baber Azam and took Quetta Gladiators home. This means the chances of making Quetta Gladiators to the playoffs is still not over. Jason Roy scored 145 runs in only 63 balls and he single handily took Quetta to the winning score.
But believe me, this is close to impossible what we say today.

Also, anyone took risk of betting on Quetta Gladiators after the first innings. The odds were very attractive and they would have made a lot of money today. Even before the start of the match, Quetta were the underdog team and hence those who took a risk on this team get rewarded today.

What an amazing match we have few minutes ago in Rawalpindi between Quetta vs Peshawar I was never expecting entertainment like this with first Babar and Saim done amazing stuff and having target like this 240 was absolutely impressive with mostly peoples were feeling this match is going to be ended one-sided for the Peshawar, but today we have Jason Roy at his best and this inning will be remembered for years he completely copies of performance like Liverpool vs Manchester United nothing positive for the Peshawar in their bowling spell and Roy and veteran Hafeez completely ruin their day and this season with their aggressive hitting with this win now Quetta's hopes alive for the playoffs even not too much but still they are in this event and have fair chance for the qualification and Peshawar surely going to face heat in their coming matches.

Now Quetta having their next encounter against struggling Multan and Peshawar is going to face Multan and Islamabad which is going to be tough challenge for both teams.

Crowd response is not positive with financial trouble and political unrest is also having big issues right now as you can watch on Twitter how things are going in Lahore as I have feeling if this is not going to settle then surely they have to shift last few matches in Karachi or out of Pakistan because internal trouble is going high day by day which is surely not positive for the game and other business related things and about WPSL most chances this is not going to be organized in near future maybe we will have this in 2024 or 2025 but not in this year because many factors are having around this.

I can give you just example like today was Women's Day so here for the Women's March they have tough rule and stop many roads and other procedures which is really unusual so how can you expect this league is going to happen under these conditions for more updates wait and watch.

It reminds me of the match played between Australia and New Zealand back in the year 2018. New Zealand scored 243 runs losing 6 wickets. Australia reached the target in 18.5 overs losing 5 wickets. Things to watch in today's match, both the teams have lost two wickets. Babar Azam played well, but the same is being outlawed by the performance from Jason Roy. For Quetta Gladiators the chance of reaching top four is quite a hard task, but these kind of winnings could keep the hope alive.
