Shoaib Malik performance is disappointing so far in this PSL. In a game against Multan Sultan, in which they lost by 3 runs only, Shoaib scored 13 runs of 19 balls. Karachi Kings have played 7 matches and lost 5 so far. There performance is somewhat better then last year. Karachi Kings owner i.e. Salman Iqbal is also not able to come to Pakistan because he is wanted in a court case that may be one reason why Karachi Kings is down and out.

Performing better than the previous year yet ending up 2nd last in the points table wouldn't really help Karachi Kings. They will need to up their game from this point or they will be out of the competition in the next couple of games if they keep going the same route.

I don't understand what's wrong with them, it is definitely not due to their owner not being present which is logically not a reason the team shouldn't be able to perform well, but their coaches and trainers and selecting department will need to come up with something very quickly. The team is not up to the mark, if in a match they bowl well, batting goes against them, and when batting is in their favor, bowlers fail to deliver. Things are not lining up for them.

Quetta Gladiators lost this match. How unfortunate it is for them to lose such a match when they should have won it. Quetta gladiators could not win this match you can understand why they are done at the last of the table and why it is almost impossible for them to qualify for the playoffs.

After the poor performance , the poor batting performance by the Lahore qalandars I thought they will lose this match with the big margin but instead they fought hard and in the end won this epic battle.

There is no doubt now Qalandars one of the best team in PSL with their best domestic setup and good investment now giving them good dividend which is surely impressive by the owner Rana Fawad who was criticized badly in early editions due to his on and off the field issues but still he is man of word, and he achieves his targets about this league and team now with today win things looking good for the Qalandars because they have 5 wins out of 6 matches and most chances they will keep this top rank bowlers and batsmen both departments giving their best.

In today match their top order completely fail, but middle order give them good response specially Sikandar Raza's 71 on just 34 balls change the match momentum and bring back them into this match for another good win with the help of Haris Rauf and Rashid Khan both were on their best even they have not good target.

The Quetta bowlers worked really hard to restrict Lahore to a total of 148. But then the total could have been much less. At one point they were 50/7 (when David Wiese got out). I was expecting a total of 60-70, but then an amazing fightback from Sikandar Raza and Rashid Khan took them to a decent total. And then Quetta got to the most spectacular start. They were at 53/0 after 6 overs. Then the collapse started when Haris Rauf and Rashid Khan cleaned up their top and middle order. Lahore has won 5 out of the 6 matches so far.

It was a thrilling match and a really surprising but well-deserved win by Lahore Qalandars against Quetta Gladiators. Lahore's batting and bowling both are too good for other teams to manage at this point, and it seems they won't leave the top position and will end the league round on top of the table.

About the points table, I believe all teams apart from Quetta all other teams are still in the race for the playoffs. It seems that Lahore and Multan will keep 1st and 2nd places respectively, and there will be a fight for the 3rd and 4th places between Islamabad, Karachi, and Peshawar, and there will definitely be some really exciting matches to watch in these coming days.

The tournament is over for Quetta and today's game is a must win game for Karachi else they too will be eliminated. The main problem is Karachi Kings is that they don't have any quality pacer in there team. They are relying totally on Muhammad Amir on pace.
