Maybe we can say that Lahore Qalandars had bad luck yesterday. They had a nice start but the match was abandoned due to rain and bad weather. However, I am not entirely sure if LQ would have won even if they scored nearly 200 runs because they were playing against Quetta Gladiators, which isn't a weak team. They would have chased any target on a given day. Both teams get a single point from this match, and hence they stand in the same positions, 2nd and 3rd, on the points table with the same 9 points each.

In today's match, IU won the toss and they decided to bat first. This game is also being played in Lahore and last night we have seen that a storm arrived in Lahore and then also heavy rain came so the game was stopped and then abandoned without results. But hopefully, today the weather will be good for the game. If we look at the current Lahore weather so it is quite good, meanwhile less wind is blowing in Lahore right now but  today here will be no rain.

However, it is a very important game for Peshawar Zalmi to win. They are about to exit this league but are still in the race if they get a win today.

This was probably the worst performance of Islamabad United. In the past matches, we have seen good performance from Islamabad United. We have seen consecutive wins of Islamabad in the first 5 matches. However, in the last match, the team suddenly suffered a batting disaster. Islamabad lost by a big margin of 88 runs against Lahore. We have seen bad batting of Islamabad in today's match too. And probably Islamabad is going to lose today too.



Opener Sahibzada Farhan scored 36 runs in 35 balls, besides Ben Dwarshuis scored 33 runs in 17 balls. We did not see any other batsman batting well. Experienced batsmen like Kyle Mayers, AghaSlaman and Sadab Khan also failed to play a big innings.

Peshwar is batting at a target of 144 runs. I do not see any reason to lose at such a small target. Peshwar has scored 102 runs after losing 3 wickets at the end of 13 overs. The team needs only 42 runs in 7 overs.

Anyway, today I saw Babar Azam finish with a very good performance, that too after a long time. I think Babar Azam plays well in those matches where the target runs are low, I think he gets more confidence when he sees lower target runs, and when the target is high, he does not get his confidence, so he cannot perform so well.

What a good game by Peshawar Zalmi, They knocked out the dominator of this PSL, Islamabad United, who was undefeated until now. They are now playing like an average team, having faced defeat twice: once from Lahore and once from Peshawar Zalmi. Losing two consecutive matches has cast doubt on their dominance, and I don't think they will be able to maintain it.

One more thing, you may have noticed that Babar's rhythm was disturbed in the last match against Karachi Kings, but in today's match, he scored very well. He played in the third position and was not out in the game. If they continue to play him in the same position for the rest of this match, then I think no one will stop him. Also, Saim Ayub's performance has been zero in the PSL this time. He has come back directly after his injury, but at least he needs to show some performance.

Yes, Peshawar Zalmi won game by 6 wickets and 20 balls. They won 23rd game of this tournament and this match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United was played  at Gaddafi Stadium. IU won the toss and elected to bowling first. I hope IU will return back in tournament and play better in the future matches. UI set a target of total runs for 143 and lost. Peshawar Zalmi easily chased complete total runs for 147 and won the match.The best batting performance in the Peshawar Zalmi team was by Maaz Sadaqat  scored 55 runs and 33 balls hitting 4 fours and 3 sixs. Yes, Peshawar Zalmi won game by 6 wickets and 20 balls. They won 23rd game of this tournament and this match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United was played  at Gaddafi Stadium. IU won the toss and elected to bowling first. I hope IU will return back in tournament and play better in the future matches. UI set a target of total runs for 143 and lost. Peshawar Zalmi easily chased complete total runs for 147 and won the match.The best batting performance in the Peshawar Zalmi team was by Maaz Sadaqat  scored 55 runs and 33 balls hitting 4 fours and 3 sixs. Actually I don't understand what's going on with the Islamabad United team!!
Even a few match previous they were the top performer team from the Pakistan super league but recently I am seeing that Islamabad United team has dropped a lot of in their batting lineup. And that's why I am thinking that in the past 2 matches they lost against the weak opponent team.
And as well I will also say that they are batting line up didn't make a good is for for this format and that's why I am also saying that they were close to losing.

is there anyone know here what's happened with Islamabad United squad and I surprised by their bad performance. Islamabad United squad has faced defeats in three consecutive matches in a row and first one, they lost to Lahore Qalandars, then yesterday against Peshawar Zalmi and today this was their third defeat against Quetta Gladiators squad. If we look at beginning of season, Islamabad United performance was so awesome that I felt they would not lose a single match until final. They had won their first five matches in a row. Now their rank dropped to second position and by getting victory, Quetta Gladiator squad positive moved to first. In this match, Islamabad United was started match with batting and their batters managed to collect 157 scores after playing 20 overs with lost of 9 batter wickets. With close fight, Quetta Gladiator squad successfully secured victory by achieving all scores after playing 19.5 overs. Good job Hasan Nawaz his batting effort was superb and he collected 64 scores off 41 deliveries. Faheem Ashraf played important role in bowling and he picked up 4 good batter wickets.
