Mmm, not so early IMO, taking into account that there are only two weeks left for Halloween, and that last year's contest's thread was opened on October the 8th.

ChiBitCTy, are you already planning a second annual contest? Considering the success of the first one, a new edition is almost mandatory We will be attentive to whether a new contest is held, but if you read us let us know here too.

The translation was made by someone which is not part of AOBT -- HONDACD125 -- but I believe it can be mentioned in our topic. I hope that this will give more courage to others to try to work on this translation.

It is indeed very difficult to stay up to date with the translations, maybe it would also work like this, the creator of the original post announces the change here in the thread and in the second post after the translations the latest version date is added at the end?

At the end, for example, "last change on 16.10.2023".


If there is interest I have created two threads/translations (the second is still being finalised) for use to buy common cryptocurrencys without a KYC requirement and the use of a BTCs mixer.

That's very helpful and it's good to remember it from time to time.

Letting us know here when changes have been done saves us from having to continuously check for updates, and it can be done by the original topic's OP, any member of the Alliance who notices it, or any member of the forum in general.

About the "last change", however, I don't think it is necessary, because anyone can easily see the date of last edition on top of the post. But it can be a good way to highlight that changes have been made.

the thread is called: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. and it is about various points and factors that should be considered by any applicant before he submits his application in a signature campaign
it would be very helpful that this very important topic is now translated by all aobt members into the respective languages. i personally will now start the german and then the polish translation

Thank you cygan, it is a very interesting topic, indeed. After a few days it seems that nobody has anything to object, and merits speak for themselves, so I'm adding it to our list of ongoing translations .

We should (me the first!) focus on this one and also give 1miau's topic a push.

On the other hand, it saddens me to see that this year there won't be any pumpkin carving contest. If we had known earlier we could have organized it ourselves, but at this point I think that a week is not enough time.

I would love to translate in pidgin. Although I know that there are even more better translators on my local board, I would also want to be an active translator here on Bitcointalk. I usually translate post I find  informative and help full to my local board and I have translated some important post you can find here on these links.

Me too, it's more than a week that I purchased it and it's ready to be carved (and in Spain there is no tradition to do that, I was going to do it specifically for the forum...). It doesn't make sense to carve it just for me. Well, I suppose that I'll have to eat it before it rots. Luckily I like the flavour, and it's also healthy

I think that it is short, east to translate, and can be helpful for many newbies who want to make money fast and are not well aware about the risks of trading. In addition, it has already been translated into a couple of languages.

Thank you mindrust, and thank you too cygan: the good thing is that it was a short topic and your effort translating it wasn't a big waste. I also overlooked that it was already translated into German, although you're right that it was logical in retrospect.

I have added the topic to the list of translations in progress and I will translate it into Spanish myself tomorrow.
