First topic has 5 translations, 1 (Bangla one) being in progress, as DYING_S0UL announced a while back. As a consequence, this topic will need 4 more translations: Hey there GB. Sorry for the delay. I was offline for more than 2 weeks due to my sickness. Couldn't made any single post or anything because of my condition. I'll get back to the translation as soon as possible. I'm feeling a better now.-DS

I listed it as PAK but you're right that the right tag is URK. Corrected! Thank you, Porf!
That's weird, I don't understand it either. Could anyone else check the translation and tell whether he sees it complete or only the introduction Gazeta shared above? While we are waiting for other translations of Pizza Baking topic, if anyone is interested, This is a small and kind reminder to all AOBTers, to check Porf's Spanish translation of first tutorial. Does anyone see this topic fully translated or what you see is the bug I am seeing...?
I'll get back to the translation as soon as possible Okay, thank you. Will you translate both topics or only first one? I'm feeling a better now. This is good to hear!
Still regarding these 2 topics to be translated, I believe that tomorrow r_victory should provide also both translations made in Portuguese. He said he talked with gagux123 for avoiding making both of them the same work. As a consequence, if DS will make also both translations, this would mean that first topic would need only 3 more translations while the second one would need only 2 more.

Finished translating a very interesting and informative article: 12 years later and people still don't know to use Bitcoin nor what it's good for by GazetaBitcoin. The translation is "not in the translation queue" in this thread, just interesting stuff. Hey there guys! I needed some help/suggestion regarding a problem I am facing. So I was translating this topic [ENG Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint by mdayonliner and Learn Bitcoin and after a certain part I am unable to post it as a single post. I think I have reached the max character limit or some kind of limitation. When I try to post I get this error below. NOTE: I could however post the original English post in a single post. But the thing with "Bangla" language is that, each character of Bangla language takes more space than English language(AFAIK). That's why OP could fit in a single post but not mine. The section which was getting cut caused the BBCode error, because it was middle of some BBcodes. Here is the archive link where I was making the translation (Click on quote, open the whole whole BBCode and you'll understand everything): 1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5486222.msg63986461#msg63986461Here is the link to the part which is getting cut: 2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5486222.msg64126864#msg64126864Porf, Gazeta, Husna QA, cygan, DrBeer, zasad@ dansus, gagux123, paid2, Kavelj22, Nalain420, gagux123, r_victory, LB, Hatchy, Chilwell, paid2.... What do I do? EDIT: I got a solution!!! I'll have to make the topic as Part 1,2 like Husna's monster topic.

Hey DYING_S0UL, that's what I was thinking too: if it doesn't fit in just one post because of the max character limit, you can edit it slightly and cut it in two.
Dear AoBTers, since we edited the OP a few days ago, don't forget to update your local ANNs too when you have time. I will send to those who don't do it a private message in the next few days to remind them.

Thank you for this effort DrBeer! But... maybe I am seeing wrong, but only half of the essay is translated...? After this paragraph there is the other half of the essay, which I do not see in your translation: This is why you should avoid centralized exchanges. This is why Bitcoin must not be used together with such monsters, which are working just to the prejudice of the clients! This is how the clients of centralized exchanges lose their money no matter the operation they intend to do. And this is how, besides money, they also lose their personal information, risking to have it stolen by bad actors, fact which exposes them to monumental risks: once the criminals obtain someone's personal information, they can pay him a "visit", they can rob him, they can break into his house, they can steal his goods or even they can threaten his life! The translation is "not in the translation queue" in this thread, just interesting stuff. Its Ukrainian translation will be ready one of these days The translation is not listed here... same as it will not happen with any other of my topics, since most of them are translated already in 8-10 languages... So there is no need to mention it here...
Dear AoBTers, since we edited the OP a few days ago, don't forget to update your local ANNs too when you have time. My update is already done

Dear AoBTers and users of the forum in general, Don't leave your 🍕 for the Bitcoin Pizza Day Contest of this year for the last moment. There are only a few days left to participate!! and they go by very quickly due to daily obligations... I just did it and you can see my entry here Good luck to everyone and may the best win! Edit: The deadline to participate has ended. We will know more about the voting phase soon. Friends, thank you all for your participation. I will need several days to prepare the thread for voting and organize everything in such a way that various factors do not affect the objectivity. Also, please don't be offended if someone's baked goods are not included in the voting. This will just mean that your baked goods are more consistent with the criteria of a vegetable pie than a pizza.

I completed the translation into Portuguese Thank you for this update, r_victory! You did an impressive job lately, translating the longest topic we ever had in progress (Husna's topic), together with the second longest topic ever (fillippon'es topic) and now you came also with this third translation, in a very short time... * I will complete the translation of the tutorial for Linux soon Okay,
At same time, I will insist on this, as nobody replied so far... Can anyone look into the bug I am seeing regarding this translation made by Porf...? I am only seeing what I showed in the image attached in the link, while Porf sees all the topic translated and showed correctly... Can anyone check this, please? If it is a bug, so if others will confirm they also see what I am seeing -- or even the opposite, perhaps we should start a topic in Meta and ask what's happening...

Something similar, I've seen in my translations. But I'll tell you right away - the “error” did not occur regularly, and often “corrected” itself after saving the whole text again. Important note - such nuances occur only if the text encoding is different from the classical English one. I assume that it is somehow related to character encoding, or rather their processing by the editor.

Thank you for input, DrBeer... but you did not say what you see when opening Porf's topic -- do you see the entire translation...? Or do you see only what I showed in the image attached in my previous post...? I wish to understand if the issue happens only on my side or if others see that translation truncated as well... At same time, maybe Porf may try also your suggestion and see if the bug disappears...?

I see exactly the same thing as in your screenshot. Before that a solution is found, maybe @Porf could redirect the link to https://ninjastic.space/post/64000153 (I mean in the AOBT summary)

Hey Porf, I see no change from my side... the topic still appears truncated... Maybe try to delete the entire topic content, save it, then edit it again and write again all the content...? Or try to think if you did anything different when writing this topic, compared with writing any other topic / translation...? Maybe there is a difference and you realize it... thus you can revert it...? I am not sure if any of these would help, but I am trying to give a hand of help...

Thank you Gazeta, I have deleted the content, saved it, and pasted it again. Maybe now? I have also copied the content in Archival here. If the problem doesn't replicate in the new thread in Archival, maybe the easiest solution will be deleting the old post and creating a new one with the same content. No comments where made yet, so there won't be much to regret. About the differences in the way I translated the topic, I did it the same way I always do it but if none of the other solutions works I'll study the (extensive) text in depth.

The translation post made by Porfirii is only partially displayed, apparently because there is an incomplete BBCode. I added a little code to this part: [size=13pt][color=red]Advertencia: No compartas tu clave privada ni tu contraseña con nadie. [/color][/size] -Edit- I replace it with this one: [size=13pt][color=red]Ad[u][/u]vertencia: No compartas tu clave privada ni tu contraseña con nadie.[/color][/size] I have coded the full text that I have corrected.

The translation post made by Porfirii is only partially displayed, apparently because there is an incomplete BBCode. I added a little code to this part: [size=13pt][color=red]Advertencia: No compartas tu clave privada ni tu contraseña con nadie. [/color][/size] -snip- Thank you Husna!! So the problem was that I mistakenly deleted the size code while translating!! I still don't get why I kept seeing it complete, if that part of the code was missing, but nevermind as long as it is now fixed My sincere thanks again, for finding a needle in a haystack

Thank you Husna!! So the problem was that I mistakenly deleted the size code while translating!! I still don't get why I kept seeing it complete, if that part of the code was missing, but nevermind as long as it is now fixed :) My sincere thanks again, for finding a needle in a haystack :) There is no code that you deleted. If you look at mdayonliner's original post ( [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint) or rewritten by Learn Bitcoin ( Re: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint), both not use the additional code in front of as the text that I edited above. Before we start, it's gonna help you if I give you a brief. PGP consist of two Keys... 1. Private key <=== You need it to decrypt a content 1. a) You also need a passphrase, in other words a strong password. 2. Public key <=== You need it to encrypt a content
Think about a very sensitive message you want to email to your friend. You don't want any gov agency or any spy read the message. These people can easily access your email server. To avoid it, ask you friend to give his PGP public key. Once you have it then encrypt the message and email the encrypted message to your friend. Now only your friend can decrypt it because he knows the private key.
Warning: Do not share your private key and passphrase with anyone.

/size code still integrated with the size code at the top and still be displayed perfectly. I don't know why their post can be displayed while your post is not. My assumption is because of the difference in the type of letter characters.
-Edit- After I checked again, it turned out that the sentence between the subtitles 'Entendiendo PGP' and 'Empezamos' still didn't appear. The error was in the word 'Advertencia' and not just in BBCode, so I got around it by adding random code between the letters. [size=13pt][color=red]Ad[u][/u]vertencia: No compartas tu clave privada ni tu contraseña con nadie.[/color][/size]

Thank you again Husna QA! I have edited it again. As you said, the /size code was integrated with the one in front of "Before" so that shouldn't be the cause of the problem. But it is also a mystery why the word "Advertencia" caused it. In any case, I think that after the last change you mentioned the translation is displayed correctly.
