I do not think that there is a parent like that.  Children are the hope of their parents.   So naturally, parents wanted their children to be successful.  Parents who failed to finish their study even dreams of their kids graduating because it is their frustration.

Besides those ideas will be overridden by the experience and exploration of a  person.  At the end of the day, it is his own personal doings why a person stays poor.  Lazy, uneducated, failure to learn from the failure of others and self-pity is some of the reasons why a person stays poor.  If a person stops learning, it will be the decline of his social status.

That's the problem because I really think everyone has the same thought to be able to live properly and be born rich when indeed we are told to choose rich or poor.

But as you said, there is always a lesson to be learned because we also live, of course there must be a goal, but when we are told to choose rich or poor when we are in the world what is the purpose? even life will be chaotic because it is not balanced because there are only rich, no poor, so life will not be colorful.

Many factors underlie a person who is poor is very difficult to be rich. It is clear that no one wants to be born poor, but we cannot choose to be poor, and when I was a child I did not feel any negativity about poverty, it was my parents' concern and not me.

To some extent, I am lucky because I live in better times, I have more opportunities, I have a better education, and I can earn good money. Now I can choose how long I want to work, and my earnings will depend on this, so the conditions and place also play a very significant role in determining our well-being.

Success or becoming rich is an extremely arduous journey, sometimes we have applied it all, but there is no guarantee that we will succeed. But if we just wait for luck to come and do nothing, getting rich will never come to us.

Unfortunately, my parents were the same way. They kept telling me that I would never make it, that I was incapable of anything. Eventually, when the opportunity arose, we started living separately. I managed to overcome the loser complex they instilled in me, but not everyone does.

It takes an inner core and good willpower to break out of poverty.

people who are still poor today does not mean that they do not try, but they have not found a point where their business can indeed go as expected, everyone wants to be rich and can feel success but there are some things that are still hindered from achieving everything they want, so I don't think anyone wants to live a poor life until the end of life, All are struggling to be able to achieve everything they want right now but it all takes time.

Kinda sucks tho for some children especially the eldest ones to be made like a retirement fund of their parents. That surely is why some people when they grow up to stay poor. There are just parents that are bullshitting their children that they wanted them to be successful, but the truth is that they wanted them to get their shit cleaned up by their own without any sort of support. It happens here in Asian countries commonly. Not entirely sure in Western Culture.

Don't ever think that being rich or poor is because of business, because of intelligence, because of heredity and so on, we must be sure that being rich or poor has been determined and cannot be changed, but what we can do is try our best, but we must always remember that the best effort does not guarantee that we can be rich, sometimes people think that by doing business, investment, education or other things will make them rich, but after we look at the facts in life, many people are poor not because of education, business or anything else.

Being rich is a subjective term, objectively there is no upper limit to call a person rich, even the biggest millionaire can think themself to be poor and attempt to earn more.

But being poor, depends on a number of reasons, one of which is the country they live in and what their skills are. With good skills one can earn a living but that might not be enough to compare with a millionaire, obviously. The point is whether they are happy with their earning and satisfied with their work.

Today everyone is trying to find new methods to grow their assets and it is a good attempt to gradually improve the living conditions of your family and its future. Becoming rich takes time, years and the assets will be enjoyed not in your lifetime but mostly by the next generation if they are following the frugal footsteps that their predecessors have paved.

Becoming rich is a problem in two ways:

First, not everyone understands that making a lot of money demands a lot of hard work and ALL of your time. I have yet to see a person who became rich and earned all their money while having time for a family or playing videos games.

Its just not realistic, and most of us would never see such hard work as realistic. A lot of us would rather live our lives.

Another problem is that being rich is a mindset. There are those who have 20 million USD in the bank and consider themselves not rich, while there are people with 1 million who see themselves as rich.

There are billionaires who just can never get enough.

- conservative, not willing to change mindset  not progressive.
- There is no specific plan or goal to strive for in life.

Most people will say on this that they don't have the opportunity to find another source of income they are only thinking inside the box meaning if you sell stuff in your office or to your workmates/online that is another source of income but people will think that the profit is small that is why people don't gain anything as they want to get profit big immediately. Also when it comes to finding side jobs they always not doing it because they tend to say they are tired which it is true but it is a matter of how you will sacrifice things.

Most parents will be angry if their child fails, this makes the child not think creatively, correct parenting and continuing to give encouragement is the important thing, I have a child and always give encouragement if school grades are still bad, and another thing is to make him always be creative with new things so that it will be easy to adapt to real life in the future which of course will have more challenges.
