Education is really necessary but it must be admitted that even if you are well educated, but in today's society you don't have relationships and money, then find a job in the right major, in line with your wishes, its really hard. It's a sad reality that happens in many poor countries like ours, it's miserable for many young graduates who can't find good jobs because they don't have good relationships. Meanwhile, people with average education but with good relationships find jobs with very good incomes.

There is always an opportunity and we all want to be rich or at least have a life where money wouldn't be a problem.
For me the main reason why people stay poor is due to the way they live, their life style or the way they think.
Let's just be honest here most of the time people tend to spend to feel good, appreciated or proud, this is the reason they don't have a savings.
Also let's talk about their source of income most of the time people would choose work over business since it guarantee a regular income unlike in business there is a chance that they wouldn't succeed.
Some people wouldn't take the risk on investment and would just work to pay bills and the necessary things that they want and some of their money would go to some of their vices to relieve the stress that they accumulated from working.

The determination of an individual can affect his mindset to find ways not to stay poor, but like what you mentioned those factors are affecting the possibility of growth with the person, if he's lack of resources and education chances is he will just continue following what he already have and it will be inherited by another generations that will follow.

There are many possibilities why they remain in that position maybe there is a lack of information and education about various things that can improve their economy or maybe someone is comfortable with that position

Circumstance, discipline, government. All of these could individually cause or contribute to why a person will stay poor for the rest of his life.

For instance, circumstance. If you were born poor, you're already dealt a bad hand from the get-go. Subpar health, education probably not going to be your priority especially when you don't have food to put on the table, and savigs pretty much becoming a pipe dream as you get paid peanuts to buy stuff that you need.

Discipline because this often is the cause why some well-off people end up becoming poor. Not investing their money when they could. Catching addictions instead of revenue points, living above the means instead of keeping as much money in the pocket as possible, all in all this will leave any man strapped for cash.

Lastly, Government. Corruption takes over, the 1% richest continues to get richer from tax exemptions and kickbacks,,the poor left dying of starvation, their kids uneducated because of the poor public schooling system. Crime rate increasing steadily as more stomachs are empty, etc.

To change their lifestyle, a person needs motivation. It is not uncommon for homeless people to enjoy their way of life. The ephemeral freedom, the independence from society, the ability to do anything - many of them find pleasure in it. They just get used to living in poverty - and don't even want to change anything. So it's the way of thinking that counts.

Yes, currently there is a lack of education and proper advice for which poor people cannot thrive it is said that as you walk with people, the wisdom and nature of those people will come from you. You will learn a lot from them subconsciously the advice is that if you want to be rich you have to hang out with the rich but most poor people are deprived of the opportunity to hang out with the rich because they always hang out with the poorer people.

It all starts with having the proper mindset. When you've got that right mindset thinking that you'll be able to get out of poverty with the things you've learned from various people that you've met and those that have inspired you then that's where the way of living is about to change.
There are people that are hardworking and no doubt that they're putting the best that they can but it seems not enough because it's not just all about hardworking but also working smartly and at the same time the right mindset.

I live in an environment where it is almost certain that you would be born into a poor family. In fact as soon as the child opens its eyes into this world, it opens it to hardship and extreme poverty not by choice but by chance.

And oh, it will be naive to think that they do not want to get rich or escape poverty because you are in an environment that has made it easy. They desire to be rich. They desire to have whatever their soul wants but the nature of things is such that they must physically escape or move far away from the environment to become rich. Sometimes they struggle to leave their environment but don't make it. Ever heard of Africans going through the desert to reach Europe?That's what I mean. Sometimes the situation/condition an individual finds his/herself are the major cause of staying poor or we can blame it on the way a country manages their economy. Some people try there best to make things work out for them but is like they're not even trying.
Because of this happening it even pushes people to engage themselves in things that are not legal, you'd hear cases like drug dealing human trafficking and all that, staying poor is not a sin or a disease but with the way the rich make it look like poor people ain't suppose to come close to them or be in existence it makes one to go crazy. Is like being poor is something that has to be in this world and it can't be cured even if it's a sickness.

This is actually a topic that a good friend and I will discuss (often when one of us has hours to drive being on business or whatever) from time to time.  The main reason that people stay poor is because when growing up poor people are often uneducated (there's always exceptions !!!!) and they don't realize that there are outlets out there to help themselves.  Social welfare type services that many governments offer.  So the issue is often about uneducated people that keep having children in poverty stricken circumstances and the cycle of unawareness, bad habit's and living poor continue on, with someone getting out here and there, but typically not that often.

when you've got nothing for you to climb, like starting a business requires capital in which of course poor people actually don't have, heck even for a living they are already struggling let alone doing and starting some business which usually requires massive capital, you are literally starting with nothing, and it's gonna be really difficult turning your life around, the only most realistic option is getting good education through scholarship but even then only available limited in modern country that's not fully infested with corruption.
realistically even if one could start business despite being poor, when there's set back, the cost gonna be massive. like it will cost your entire fortune and let you start from zero but this time without house for you to sleep because it's already seized because you can't pay off your debts, you imagine how hard such life can be.

Its basically the mindset like lazy enough to continue to go to school, prefer to be relax than busy and other factors like you said keeps having a children even it is difficult. I know also there are parts of government that can help you with your school but trust me its difficult but still they are very helpful but still not all can avail this but again if you are just eager to finish your school you will get a job while going yo school to just supply your neede money for school and for yourself
