Well I really do not see any differences from being lucky and preparing for an opportunity. When you are fully prepared, any opportunities that springs forth definitely gets you in. I have a cousin who is also in the same situation and this can be said to be completely their fault.  they have almost no plans or responsibilities for their lives.  they only know how to spend money when they have money in hand, whether they make it themselves or borrow it.  Currently with that loose lifestyle, both he and his wife are heavily in debt and are almost shunned by relatives because of their bad lifestyle. no one wants to continue lending them money, and they are living worse lives than ever.
