I did not expect such a poor performance from a team like Chennai. Since we have seen big scores in the first two matches, naturally I expected a big score in this match too. The pitch does not seem bowling friendly. Even then, Chennai's batsmen could not do well.

Why would that be ironic? After SRH purchasing decent batters, it's more of team that can do it although it's quite different they are looking out of touch since last season.

By the way,  I just read on X which I found absolutely hilarious that SRH has bowling attack that can shell out 300 runs even if their batters put up such a total.

No doubt, Chennai Super Kings against Rajasthan Royals match, Chennai Super Kings squad was begun third match with batting inning but their batters displayed weak strength against Rajasthan Royals bowlers and they managed to set 127 scores just after playing 20 overs inning. Ravindra Jadeja, Nandre Burger and Jofra Archer bowlers of Rajasthan Royals squad played important role in victory and each bowler picked up 2 wickets. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal batters were built strong batting partnership and both played wonderful inning and collected 52 and 38 scores respectively. With 8 wickets and 47 deliveries, Rajasthan Royals squad succeeded to defeat Chennai Super Kings squad in third match.

Good point. It's crazy to think that a team is capable of chasing down a mammoth target like 300 in a T20 match, but it starts making more sense when we see SRH's bowling lineup which has to be the weakest one among all teams in this season.

Cummins returning would give them a big boost, but that is still not enough. They would need more proper experienced bowlers especially when 200+ scores have become the new standard in the IPL these days.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continues to amaze us. He just celebrated his 15th birthday earlier this week, and then went on to smash the Chennai bowlers to make 52 from just 17 balls. Matt Henry, fresh from his international success got destroyed. Same happened to Noor Ahmad and Jamie Overton. It is only a matter of time before he makes it to the Indian national team. Sachin Tendulkar made his debut at the age of 16 years and 205 days (vs Pakistan at Karachi on November 15, 1989). I am sure that Vaibhav will be able to break that record. BTW, it won't be able to beat Hasan Raza, who made the debut when he was just 14.

I think if Chennai Super Kings lost some wickets early so they should had to focus on the running between the wickets and try to up the run rate gear a bit as well, by working slowly and calm fully they may had success but still this game is over for them.

For the next time, first of all they have to improve their bowling order because this every team has wonderful power hitters those just smash the ball whether the situation is easy or hard that is why if you improve your bowling order, it would be great and next step of course batting at least you have to score 180 or 190 plus.

It is a bit more complicated than that. India recently banned fantasy sports games and doubled down on online gambling. And this eliminated almost all of the India based sponsors. And among the gambling sites that are based outside India, only a few such as Stake (based in Australia) has any interest in cricket. So finding sponsors has become an uphill task. And I also need to say that the vast majority of the Indian users are now too afraid to register with any gambling sites as well. I am hearing this first hand from some of my friends at the office. The Indian government has become a lot more regressive ever since the ruling party won re-election in 2024. Markets have crashed due to poor financial policies and the government has resorted to harassing the ordinary people rather than making amends to the way they work.

About the ban, it's not just fantasy sports but any kind of thing that they consider as gambling is banned now, so people are on their own with crypto casinos for now and still casinos are accepting Indian players because it is a big market to ignore for anyone meanwhile the popularity of cricket on this forum is different, tried some contests and had also troubles with some, unless someone who is in contact with the casinos make a move we are not going to see any contest.

They have never won any trophy in the last many years, almost I think it is the 19th edition of the IPL, and still Punjab Kings struggle to win just a cup in the last 18 to 19  years.

Chennai Super Kings team showed very poor performance. As they have experienced players but they could not proved well. Playing first they scored just 127 runs and dismissed all team. No one could play responsible inning. They gave back to back wickets. Just one player scored well runs. Jamie Overton scored 43 runs    in 36 runs and remained not out till end. Rajasthan Royals 1st bowled well and then they also performed brilliantly in batting they chased this total easily.  They lost just 2 wickets and chased this lowest total in 12.1 overs. Very brilliant performance they showed in this inning. Anyways RR team played outstanding inning and won the match with a great victory.
