Finally cheenai super kings played his last match of the current ipl edition and for first time in recent past years csk end his ipl journey with holding bottom of the standing. I don't think that victory against Gujrat will really help them as already things were finished for them and instead of them Gujrat really need that victory in order to maintain his position as well as confidence before playoffs. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match against Kolkata Knight Riders by a big margin. They won it by 110 runs and end the PSL on a high note. They won the last three matches played and end up on the 6th number. Seems like they got the form back but it was too late for them to progress further.

In this match, they made a massive 278 runs and they already had won the match once they score these many runs. Heinrich Klaasen made a massive 105 runs in only 39 balls. A good innings to watch.

Well, the Punjab Kings have to bat well if they want to win this match. So far, it is going for them as they have made 24 in three overs and haven't lost any wickets. Again since the target is on the higher side, anytime in the game if they lose one or two quick wickets, they can lose the momentum in the game. They need to play with a plan, as Priyansh Arya is playing a bit aggressively, while Prabhsimran Singh is trying to take the innings along. This match is important for them and if they win it, they will be at the top of the table.

I cannot be too confident about the Punjab team. Because the team can make any mistake at any moment. There are many matches where Punjab has been in control of the entire match but the team could not secure a win in those matches. It is not yet clear what Punjab will do in today's match. They could not score runs after batting for 3 overs in the power play. Their total in 3 overs is only 18. Even though the team has not lost any wicket yet, the team can come under wicket pressure at any time. On the other hand, 187 runs is not a small score. If they come under pressure once, then the match will be tense.

I really liked the batting performance of Punjab Kings in today's match, Marcus Stoinis batted brilliantly in today's match, Marcus Stoinis scored 44 runs in just 16 balls, he hit a total of 4 sixes and 3 fours in just 16 balls to make a total of 44 runs. And Josh Inglis also performed very well, Josh Inglis' score was 32 runs in just 12 balls, where a total of 2 sixes and 3 fours. Apart from that, others also performed well in batting. Punjab team tried their best to grab the top spot of the table today. The team performed very well. Mumbai Indians gave a decent target. We cannot call the collection of 184 runs a small collection. However, if Mumbai could collect 200+, the match would have been more competitive.

Although Mumbai's batsmen played a little better, their bowlers' performance was weak. Due to the responsible batting of Priyansh Arya and Josh English, Punjab easily reached the target of victory by losing only 3 wickets. Mumbai used their 7 bowlers today but except Jasprit Bumrah, no one else could bowl well.

Both the teams played the last match of the first round. Punjab is at the top of the table and Mumbai is at the fourth place in the table. If Bangalore can win against LSG, then they have a chance to grab the top spot of the table.

Punjab has been excellent on this season overall. They won the game against Mumbai Indians with ease as 185 is not a huge target considering how they bat in IPL. Another good thing about Punjab is almost every one of the player contributes while not relying much on single player.
Now we just have one match left in the league stage. LSG vs RCB today would be of great interest. Even though there's no use of a win for LSG, a win or lose of RCB would change how the eliminator games would be played. LSG is a strong but unlucky team, they have the potential to win any team. While RCB would want to secure this win to get them as close as the cup which they so much long for.

Punjab kings has a good chase and they didn’t let go the match at any moment. Right from the start they batted with responsibility and chased this 184 runs losing only three wickets. Josh Inglis played a brilliant 73 runs innings while Priyansh Arya made 62 runs.

Mumbai Indians didn’t have any impact with the ball.  The runs to defend for them weren’t less but they didn’t put any pressure on them. The main reason was that they could not take wickets nor they could restrict the runs. Mitchell Santner was the most successful bowler who took 2 wickets.

Iyer is young and he should stay out of politics for his own good. None of the regular members in the Indian cricket team publicly states their political affiliation (perhaps with the exception of Ravindra Jadeja, whose wife is a BJP MP). Even Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is retired and personally close to N Srinivasan refrains from such stuff. And they have solid reasons to do so. Iyer is a bit outspoken and this has impacted his career growth. His domain is cricket and I would like him to focus on it rather than mixing it with politics.
