SRH and KKR In today's match, we can see a good exciting match between the two teams, although at the moment SRH team is batting. Kolkata's batting order is also quite  strong. They managed to score 220  runs in the first match. So even though the target is big in today's match, the team is fighting for victory.

I am not expecting KKR to be able to have a good season due to their management; they have made a few poor decisions that keep them at the worst level. Few teams are overrated, but it's going to be an interesting season because a few individual performances are going to be also important in coming games.

Not a good start by LSG in their first match of IPL 2026. The whole team got out after scoring just 141 runs, Abdul Samad scored 36 runs and he was highest run scorer for LSG. Lungi Ngidi and Natarajan both picked 3 wickets each. Delhi Capitals lost 4 quick wickets but Sameer Rizvi unbeaten innings of 70 along with 39 runs of Tristan Stubbs helped DC in winning first game of their IPL. Sameer Rizvi the man behind DC victory today was nominated as man of the match today.   

LSG vs DC, 5 th game of IPL series was ended today and this game was played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. In start of game, DC team won toss and they got chance to take first bat or bowl and they elected field first and gave batting lineup to LSG team. LSG team set 141 runs target in 20 overs by losing all wickets. Mitchell effort in opening of line was good and he made 35 runs in 28 balls and hitted two 4s and three 6s. But his runs and Abdul's effort was useless and LSG team performed very worst in bowling and lost this 1 st ipl game by 6 wickets and 17 balls. Lungi bowler bowled very well and he took down 3 wickets in 3.4 overs and gave 27 runs. Sameer got player of game award because his batting effort was helpful and he made 70 runs in 47 balls and hitted five 4s and four 6s. Congratulations DC team won 5 th game and won this game easily.

Lucknow Super Giants team could not start well. In the beginning only Mitchell marsh played little well. They lost some wickets early. They could not utilise power play effectively. Only two players performance was well in a whole team. Abdul Samad and Mitchell marsh. So they scored 141 runs with very difficulty and dismissed all team. On the other hand Delhi Capitals team played great inning. They dismissed opponent team at lowest total. Also they could not start well inning but they came back in game after losing 3 wickets and they struggled well to win the match.  Sameer Rizvi performance was remarkable he scored 70 runs in 47 balls and remained not out. Also Tristan Stubbs played well he scored 39 runs in 32 balls. They bowled very well but since it was lowest total they should complete the inning within 15 overs. Seeing Chennai Super Kings' score of 209 runs, I thought that Chennai Super Kings would win easily today, but Punjab Kings changed our minds and defeated Chennai Super Kings very easily.
Basically, even if the score is over 200 runs in this IPL, it is not impossible to target that score and win. Here, I will mainly blame the batting piece, especially the bowlers' efforts were not bad, but due to the batting pitch, the bowlers are not able to control them.

I was expecting that Chennai Super Kings squad would defeat their opponent this time but I was wrong. But one positive thing in this match was that Chennai Super Kings batting performance looked much better compared to their performance in first match. Chennai Super Kings squad was started match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 209 scores off 20 overs inning. Vijaykumar Vyshak bowler played crucial role in bowling and he picked up 2 significant wickets of Chennai Super Kings squad. Shreyas Iyer was top scorer of this match and he played wonderful inning and collected 50 scores. Also thanks to Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya  batters who built partnership and collected 43 and 39 scores respectively.
