They were all in the same folder!? Strange, it is rarely organized like this.
Is this link where you are taking it from, or was it the link being used in the posts?

Pure curiosity: Do you have any data on how many image uploads and how much data is used already? How many uploads per day on average?

At the end of the month I will present more concrete statistical data. But I can say that we have 1000 images and an average of 230KB per image.

The image size is well below the maximum allowed dimension.

Other users have already warned of the same situation.
What I've been suggesting is to reload the image, as I've done now (as a guest) and it works:

I've done several analyzes and I can't find any explanation for this happening.
I think it might be related to the forum images proxy. I have already contacted theymos to verify.

These images are straight out of midjourney. Sincerely speaking, I have no time to convert those to other formats before uploading to talkimg.

As I said, I even understand the discomfort of the situation, but I still haven't been able to understand a logical reason for this to happen.
The idea of the size/format of the image could be a case, even so I don't believe it. As long as you download the image and re-upload it it works - without any editing.
I still haven't been able to understand the reason or its origin, if it's related to me or not.

This is very good development. Since this TalkImg.com is directly connected to bitcointalk only, it is better because imgur website this days is malfunctioning, there are sometimes you tried to upload image but with would not uploaded. The site just misbehave any how. Before this image disappearance issue, the site was not working perfectly like before.
Though I have not used TalkImg.com to upload image but other users testimonies, I believed the site works perfectly.

Uploading multiple images in a row is easy! Simply drag and drop all the images at once or use the "browse from your PC" function to select multiple images in one go. Plus, you'll be able to copy-paste all the BBcode in a single step, making the process even more efficient. Hope that helps!

I just checked it and it works as you said, but the area where links are is kinda small and cramped up and for whatever reason I can't easily copy/paste separate links without accidently copying few or more often all of them.

@joker_josue, while I was fixing some of my old posts that had missing images, I had an idea. Is it possible to enable the "add image URLs" option, like the one available on ImgBB service? This would make it easier for users who want to migrate their images from Imgur to TalkImg.com on their own, since the images are still available there, but not displayed on the forum.

You just select more images when uploading, as simple as that. You can do the same thing with other tools (imgur, postimages) as well.

I guess they're not really in the same directory at imgur's server. It must be a database entry to the actual location, so they can keep the URL as short as possible.
The link I posted is how users post it on Bitcointalk.

This is because I have configured only 1 Upload threads to use the service. And then in browsers that do this individually, they don't accept this type of loading. I'll increase it to 2 so more people can use it.

Can you, @LoyceV or @tryninja or anyone program a script that allow each user to download all the images of each posts on a directory? So that thoseximages are not lost and can be later re-uploaded?

I am not a coder or developer, but other guys you mentioned are welcome to try and fix this.

That's why I say: this service is only to be used on the BitcoinTalk forum. Avoid using it in other places, there is a risk that it will not work or stop working in those places in the future.

Maybe you should some kind of minimal disclaimer warning on website bottom, in addition to TOS page.

I used talkimg on a post of mine, but the image fails to show up properly. I can see it loading, but it then disappears.

But this information is already in the TOS. Note point two:

Images uploaded to the TalkImg site can only be used on the Bitcointalk.com forum, except as previously agreed with a user for their images. All uploaded images must follow the same rules that the Bitcointalk.com forum applies to this subject.

I recently used TalkImg for one of my topics as Imgur was not working. I found it very simple and easy to use. I do not think I would be using Imgur in the future as I am happy with TalkImg.

I would like to suggest a new feature to be added when the the BBcode is generated. Why not ask the user what size of the image is required like we have in Imgur? This will increase user satisfaction. I am not sure whether this has been suggested before. If not, then do consider my suggestion.

Here I can't access the Imgur site through my local network or broadband connection so I have to change my location using a VPN and then use it.  It was a lot of hassle for me so TalkImg.com will be a very useful site for me. here are two general questions I have.

1. Since you bought this domain and hosting server only for two years.  In that case if you don't get any kind of donation from this forum for the development of this site then how will you meet the cost of domain renewal and site development.?
2. Since this is an image uploading website, there is a huge amount of images to be stored, so do you have enough server storage to store them safely?  And if everyone starts using this site.  Then it will require a large dedicated server.  What steps do you plan to take to meet that need?

I have glanced through this thread and bookmarked it to visit later at my leisure. When i discovered that almost all my images hosted on imgbb are broken, i remembered this thread. I am surprised how fast the pages have grown.

I see this as a great project for the forum and especially as it has gotten a decent support from theymos. If you might not have gotten the real picture of this project, but believe me I have seen the future.

I will strongly advise that you message Royse777, to allow you upto 14days to remove sinbad signature and avatar. You have to wear your project's avatar and signature and also launch a free campaign such that people that are not paid currently for signature will help promote your project. 
After 14 days you may decide to return to sinbad promotion while leaving the campaign open.

As long as this project is aimed on forum users only there is no need in additional signature campaign. Majority of users who need image hosting is already aware of this project, there are translations to main languages, there are advice of using it when there are questions. Signature will hardly give much more. If there is a wish of helping the one can add this project to a signature and this will be good, but there's no need to do so mandatory.
