Wild idea: I'm downloading
Imgur images that stopped working. How cool would it be if theymos can update all imgur.com links to talkimg.com?
Slight problem: I've downloaded 398 images so far, and it takes 92 MB. I don't know the exact number yet, but it looks like there are about 800k images in total. So give or take 200 GB
It's not impossible. But we had to see how the images were organized on imgur.com. Also, logically I had to make an immediate adjustment on the server, not difficult but unexpected. Just make the compilation, and then we analyze the feasibility of doing this. But if I'm going to move forward, I need the community's support to bear the unexpected costs of the sudden increase in service. We'll see what's going to happen. I'm in anticipation.
Very nice service.
I have an immediate feature request: add a couple of field for “height” and “width” attributes.
If I populate those blank field, this get added to the BBC code. The picture doesn’t need to be resized, just the attributes to be customised.
I saw this is a scheduled development, but I think should be very easy to provide a custom value in the Full HxW format.
At this moment, you can choose the "BBCode full fix HxW" option, which already includes the actual height and width value, which you can then easily edit.
Either way, I'm looking at several possibilities, to see what makes the most sense and is the most functional.
Hi Joker, just wanted to check if it would be OK for ChartBuddy from the Wall Observer thread to use your service. It's a bot with hourly uploads so just wanted to make sure to clear things with you. I'd be happy to credit you.
I see no harm in that. The system has protection against serial uploads, but one image per hour is at will. Tell me what you need and we can look into it.
Thank you. I tried to upload it again and the first time it worked. Later when I tried to reload the page the header image was loading. But the other image which was middle of the thread was loading and disappearing. That If one is working other is not. Don't sure if it's my network issue. But later used other site postimg.org and it worked well.
This is very strange. I can't find a logical reason for this. Because when I load the image it works normally, as you can see. It is working fine on the server, it downloads without problems, and uploads again and it works. Quite honestly, I can't see why, sorry.
EDIT:
I've created three directories A, B and C to split my images into three categories, Rugby, Known alts and others stuff. (None are sub-directories of any of the other two) If I go into any of these three directories I am no longer able to see the three directories and there is no directory tree to take me back to the page that shows all three directories.
I already understand. Thanks for the tip.
The user area is still being worked on, I will try to do something in that direction.
