There was a 100% penalty for Arsenal when the Bayern goalkeeper stopped Bukayo Saka. What's the point of having VAR, when such obvious situations aren't considered a foul? I don't know why Tomas Tuchel also wanted a penalty. An Arsenal player touched the ball with hands, because he didn't know that the game wasn't stopped by the referee. This doesn't seem like a legit reason to get a penalty.
Anyway, lots of goals in this round of the Champions League, which is great for the neutral fans like me. Manchester City and Real Madrid also did a great game with beautiful goals by Phil Foden and Federico Valverde. I expect City to finally eliminate Real Madrid in the next match in England.

For me I am just satisfied that the game actually didn't disappoint, because I really enjoyed the game and it was worth every second of my time. At first the game was looking in favor of Real Madrid as they overtook city from behind but as expected Manchester city were able to turn the tide against them and went leading again not until real Madrid drew the game once more. Now the return leg will be nothing but excellence all through because both teams will be coming to win the game so I expect another real time offensive football.

I watched Real Madrid - Manchester City and I'm so happy to choose that one to watch. Both halves were very entertaining. Manchester City got the result they wanted on the road in this match. Haaland's performance was bad. The game lacked pace in general but the goals took the game to another level. Modric should definitely play in the starting eleven in the second leg. Because Modric kept the ball in Real Madrid's possession after he came on in this game, he carried the ball well before the goal and Vinicius Jr assisted Valverde skillfully.

Modric's vision of the game is tremendous. Real Madrid were very closed in defense and closed the penalty area well, but the goals they conceded from outside the penalty area show that their defense needs to be questioned. Surprise goals changed the fate of the game and I think Manchester City are the favorites to go through in the second leg.

Probably City did not go with the very intentions of winning that game, I think they went to draw the game watching from how open their defense was and some kind of players they benched, we saw the minute Alvarez came in and refusing to play Debruyne even when they were losing, I'm sure they would have their own reason for doing so, maybe holding back till they meet at Etihad, Madrid should be extremely careful, facing City at home may end their title race.

Judging on players performance, Haaland wasn't part of the game, Rudiger dealt massively with him, in this kind of match Haaland should be subbed off or not even allowed to start till they are on some goals lead, it felt like City was a man down watching them play, Alvarez would have been the best option to start.

Modric is an experience player, I believe if he had started earlier they might have won this match, his movement with the ball, his kind of vision is top notch, for Madrid talking about purchasing Mbappe will send them to a whole new level in every of their league, winning as much trophies.

I think from the last 2 matches, both teams played a game that was fun to watch for football fans. For me, the advantage in these 2 matches is that Munich and City avoided defeat at home to their opponents. And in the second leg, both teams will be much more enthusiastic in deciding whether to qualify next or not.

I think the teams entering the quarter-final phase are teams that are difficult to predict because they are the best teams in their respective leagues. For the two matches, PSG and Atletico, in my opinion, will be far superior, playing at their own home, of course they will be much more enthusiastic.

Arsenal have really tried to make things happen but unfortunately it didn't work out, they really tried their best even by equalising the second goal, this alone will allow them to have breadth air, at least the have less to defend for finishing draw.

In my view the draw was less deserving for Arsenal haven possessed the game in the much part of the whole time of the game, they had huge dominance than I had imagined they will playing against Bayern Munich but it's so disappointing that playing a weak Bayern team for the first time in many years Arsenal couldn't grab a win even in their home ground. Their chances to survive at the Alenz Arena is not a thing of debate because obviously if they couldn't get a win at their home from a weak Bayern Munich is it at Bayern Munich home arsenal can get a win. No, am not sure, except they just get lucky.

In my opinion, Bayern Munich is not a weak team, and if you look at their five matches, Bayern Munich has an extraordinary record against Arsenal and has managed to achieve three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five meetings. Apart from that, Bayern Munich has a lot of extraordinary experience in the UCL compared to Arsenal. And in the Bundesliga Bayern Munich is also in second place in the standings, so if you think Bayern Munich is a weak team, you are very wrong because Bayern Munich is one of the dangerous teams in the UCL.
And Arsenal actually has the ability to win the match against Bayern Munich, it's just that they played too recklessly.

Back to champions league game last night arsenal dominated the game, had the ball possession, highest complete passes, strikes on target , what saved Bayern Munich was the experience they have in champions league competition and that was what they were using as a hedge over arsenal who were just playing a normal football as the best side in the game but couldn't capitalize on their strength against Munich.
